I've finished putting the Vault back the way it should be, and the microscope returns! Now that I'm a bit more comfy with the QT5 design (not too much different), I'll start fiddling with some new design ideas based on some of the images in thread--slowly though, I'm not a graphic designer. Should have a Mac version next.

I've pushed a pull request to the main Un github, don't know how/when BW will merge it: https://github.com/unobtanium-official/Unobtanium/pull/22 In the meanwhile, just use mine at https://github.com/thegreatoldone/Unobtanium. I made a couple other small updates, replaced coinworks seednodes, removed 'Core' branding, updated some visual stuff, set coincontrol features to be on by default. May be a bit before I get back around to the 9th digit--most of the light groundwork I started on is gone in the 0.10x branch--but that's ok, I wasn't too far along with it quite yet and as someone mentioned above, it was only a placeholder for the moment.

Lol Ho Lee Shit. We made it over a year without any real flame war taking place. It is sorta what made Uno's thread stand out from a lot of the rest of them. I know i don't get along with everyone all the time, no one should get along with everyone all the time. How fuckin boring would that be?

Obviously feelings were hurt, otherwise there would be no resentment or any grudge about what has transpired. Emotions sorta make things real, if you never get feeling involved it is much easier to detach from things. Claiming you don't care about this or that, but harboring resentment or some type of grudge, perhaps it is the subconscious or something that is deeper in there, uncontrollable? Who knows.

Really, the Guild should have a link at the bottom under the "more unobtanium" section as the guild doesn't make Uno, Uno makes the guild. I think the guild has good intentions, i think they seek to try to stabilize the market in some way. Call it what you will. The fact that it isn't mandatory is what ever. I see where the issue arises then as to why there is such mention of the guild on the website if it is a selective and unofficial thing. I am sure those issues will be rectified in a manner that satisfies everyone. General things like shout outs and what people do, yeah it is cool and all, but that leads to hurt feelings. Egos are frail, the weakest part of being human. Not to diminish what anyone is doing, but that is sorta what happens with stuff like that. Asian invasion manager - Gekko then a paragraph about what a nut he is. I personally think it should be just the devs there, not that falling knife doesn't deserve his spot, but at least if it was devs only, feelings would be less hurt as the reason why would be, because you aren't a dev, that is why you don't go on the main page. Otherwise i see little things coming up like "well my project did better, why am i not on the site?" people get so caught up with that stuff. I like the yellow and I know I'm not alone, but it is a minority opinion.

There have always been a variety of logos for Uobtnaium AFAIK. I am aiming to pull everything together and offer customizability on my future Un projects. Instead of rebranding I want to embrace that diversity - but with blue as the default.

Address the issues I brought up.  The "Guild" is an embarrassing low tech insider trading scheme against the law in most jurisdictions. You can not "back" crypto with metal, since you can't make me whole if you can't give me metal.  You and IMZ are spinning your wheels on something silly and insisting it be front and center on the unobtanium.uno page.

I propose all references to it be banished from that page, and I know for fact many others agree.  Do what you want, but insider trading is not part of the UNO branding.

You're making asumptions, nobody insisted (or even requested) anything. I put up information on the (then still called Un-Ex) Guild on my own, because I thought it was an interesting aspect to this community. Note I have never participated in Un-Ex, I just saw many core and long term members of this community start using it and thought it would make a good addition. I was/am actually a bit concerned about the placement on unobtnaium.uno being a bit too prominent for an "un-official" piece of content, but decided to keep it close to the exchange section, as it fits well there thematically.

If there are any concerns about that and/or the placement on the website in the community, please by all means lets discuss this (or send me a PM). So far not a single soul has mentioned something to me about this. Since you are obviously educated on the legalities regarding these matters, care to elaborate your concerns for a hobbyist with little trading/financial background?

Insider trading is against the Law in every juristiction with mature markets on earth.  Which is, despite being in Crypto land, where we trade.

"Un-Ex" is a cartel, designed to interfere with free market price discovery, including "liked" traders, excluding "disliked" traders.  It has nothing to do with solvency, execution or any other business considerations.

Un-ex exists for those who kiss IMZ and Ian Ridgewells asses.

As for the charges of manipulation or "insider trading," let us take a look.

This is an English and American legal construct in which insiders, using private, non-public information, buy shares or sell them short in an effort to extract gains from a Company's publicly-traded security.

In brief, $UNO is not a security, nor is it a publicly-traded company.  Also, an insider is defined as an owner, director or any shareholder controlling 10% or more of the security. Unless, IMZ is Wolong, IMZ does not rise to the definition.  Further, even if IMZ did own that much, it is still irrelevant simply because $UNO is not a corporation or a security. It is a computer code in which some individuals deem to have intrinsic value.

If UNO-EX / Guild are deemed by the community not to be official / sanctioned pieces of the $UNO programme, then the reference should be removed or modified to make it clear that UNO-EX / Guild are an experiment run by interested $UNO holders on the official $UNO website.

Now, please, let's move forward to do what we can do to build $UNO and each other up instead of tearing everything down.
