I never had witnessed this many 0 in my entire play of roulette.  The most I have seen was 3 to 4 appearances and that is already rare.

When you consider it as "8 times zero in 18 times" that is rare, but when you consider "8 times in 18 tries of 50k tries" that becomes a lot more common. If you spin the wheel for 50k times, there will be 18 tries with 8 zeros in there.

Same goes for many unlikely stuffs in gambling, like for example if you do 90% chance to win dice game, that means you will have 9 chances out of 10 to win, and yet you could have zero out of 10 in a row, if you do it 50k times, there is a good chance that could happen. This is why martingale doesn't work as well, because it never calculates how much you need to wager with that mindset and makes you lose eventually.
