Questions:

1) What's the address for hosted units?
(my furys are not "on" yet but I never remember it and can't find it on website)

2) I have ordered 1 Week Three Fury with ZenController kit and also 2 Zeusminer Blizzards (technically the same miner). Is it possible to gather all 3 in one USB hub to ZenController?

1) http://hash.gawminers.com

2) We don't know yet for certain, but in theory, yes. ZenMiner is supposed to be "the one controller to rule them all."

Thx volder.

GAW should consider put the "http://hash.gawminers.com" link at their website.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Also, I have yet to see an answer about whether you will get a second zencontroller on an additional order. My brother wants me to purchase a fury for him but I just want to make sure I will get another controller.
Yes, you will get another controller. Here it is, straight from GAWminers.com.

http://www.gawminers.com/the-fury-1-mh-s-asic-scrypt-miner-week-three/

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

1 x GAW Miners Fury
1 x USB DATA cable
1 x Power Supply Unit
1 x ZenController by ZenMiner
1 x SD CARD ready for ZenController with GAW Miners firmware.

1 x USB DATA cables to use with the ZenController
1 x ZenController power cable for standard power supply unit (4 PIN Connection)

Did not resist the "kit" and bought one of these using my Reward Points to reduce the price...  Grin

I just spreaded the news at two forums and now the Fury has not the kit anymore... =/

As I placed my order while the product was announced with the kit, I hope you guys send my what was advertised at the website and not propose a refund.

 Wink

Hi, any orders that were placed with it, will come with it Smiley

Seriously,

What Range was your order Number? X - XXXX

My Fury was Order #6293

They're not shipping in numerical order, then.  My order for 5 furys is #5719 and apparently it's just left Hong Kong:

Btw, I wasn't aware until this morning that the furys include a raspberry pi.  The original product page that I ordered from only mentioned the USB cable and power supply.  So, am I correct now in understanding I'll be getting a raspberry pi directly from Michigan?  If so, a tracking # for that would have been helpful.

Oh, well...  at least my order is now on the way.

Regards,

Chris

Thx Josh...
Already edited my post with a reply from your team.

My order was placed a few minutes before the change and I was concerned about it.

Hey Guys,

We found out some disappointing news...... Today we found out some strong evidence showing that one of our competitors is compensating some/all of the "guest" that have been relentlessly trolling our thread the last few days.

I became suspicious when I noticed that they only really became aggressively active when our first product started shipping (launch day). It also never made sense, that no customer (no matter how upset) works that hard to attempt to discredit a company. Additionally, two of the four are not even customers. So we did some digging.

Luckily, we have a good hunch on who has been providing for them them, and I have a meeting with the CEO there tomorrow.

Hopefully I come back with some good news and we can get back to focus on mining Smiley

but, well.... There is only one 'competitor' shipping and that is Zeus. And we all know that GAW miners come from Zeus. So this doesn't make much sense.

All other smalltime internetshops I can't see as competition. And I can't see Gridseed for example as competition. So.... whatthehell ?

Yes, you're getting a FREE ZenController! Smiley

Good to know...  thanks!

Does this mean, then, that the furys can't be controlled locally using cgminer?  Not that I don't *want* to use the Zenminer.com interface, but my original plan was to run the furys locally using the same controller I'm using for my gridseeds.  If that's not possible, will I be able to put my gridseeds on Zenminer, too, so that I'm not running two different setups?

Thanks, again....

Regards,

Chris

P.S.  For the record, neither of my two orders have gone "smoothly" but I *will* credit the folks at GAWminers with trying to fix things quickly and, in the end, they've come through (unlike some other companies where its nothing but vaporware and broken promises).  So, overall I'm happy with these folks.

You can ask Zen, but I would run the separately. There is not downside is there?

I'm not sure if there' a downside or not, as I haven't seen what the Zenminer interface looks like or what it does.  But, generally speaking, I would prefer to have everything setup and run the same way as it seems to me it's less complex and easier doing it that way.

I guess I'll wait until the equipment comes and worry about it then.

Thanks, again, for the info.  Thumbs up to you and your staff for busting your asses to get everything done.

Regards,

Chris

Thanks for posting these. One minor thing though; it seems that it's missing the source code and a copy of the license which is required to comply with the cgminer licensing (GPL). Just giving you guys a quick heads up.  Wink That is unless I'm blind and missed them.  Cheesy

It'll also be interesting to see how quickly other mining software developers add support.

Quick question. Will it only be possible to update the firmware on the miners through ZenMiner or will you also be releasing a standalone updater?

My week one Fury just arrived a few minutes ago.

What miner do I use with it?

What region are you located in? I just now received tracking updates but apparently mine is still processing in Hong Kong.
