thats fine, what im trying to underline here is the profit margin must be high on the miners, if they can afford to give it as a gift at cost of $69.

Reactor is that you?

Brand new account. Posting every 2 minutes. Constant criticism. The symptoms are all there!

could you please take a minute off your witchunt and answer the question in post 2210

Hi Everyone,

ZenMiner has sent us an update as they promised for their server and services upgrade timeline for new users and stability issues.

The following times listed are in Eastern time for May 29th, 2014:

12:01 AM: Last minute fixes in registration to support the increase in traffic.

3:00 AM: Database management and improved design for scaling laterally.

7:00 AM: QA testing and UI updates.

11:00 AM: Begin accepting new user registration while continuing to improve customer experience and UI enhancements.

We will update you once we receive word from ZenMiner that the servers have been upgraded for you so you can connect your free ZenController. We are working with ZenMiner to provide a future plan on how we will avoid these issues.
Thank you for your patience and support.

Been there, but no instructions and contacted support but no reply.

on this site go near bottom of page and download CGminer

https://gawminers.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202184744-cgminer-source-and-config?utm_source=Customer+List&utm_campaign=fe44872274-zenminer-server-status&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_610f65bd5c-fe44872274-130325241

create config file and mine. the examples are at the top of the page

cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://us.clevermining.com:3333(change to your pool settings) -u 1KQxLLQNxgn2upd4TtGbtiRdm3f5UWC9k8(change to username for your pool) -p x(change to pass for your pool) --nocheck-golden --chips-count 128(change to type below by miner) --ltc-clk 328 -S //./COM4(change to comport of miner)

Chip Count

War Machine: 256

Falcon: 128

Black Widow: 64

Fury: 6

How do I find the com port of miner?
Windows device manager.

does not show com port number only shows Port_#0004.Hub_#0006

Did you have cgminer with gridseeds running off this machine before and is you miner showing up under ports com and lpt  or somewhere else. Do you remember installing zadig drivers.

Check this thread remember its easier to add these drivers then to remove them so please read. Thanks
http://cryptomining-blog.com/1254-how-to-mine-both-btc-and-ltc-on-gridseed-5-chip-gc3355-asic/

Also remember miners usually prefer usb 2.0 black ports and not blue 3.0 ports

Try replacing the drivers with the lighting asic driver for cpuminer. They will assign a com port. Just a guess I haven't received my miner to test. http://www.diffpair.com/lightningasic/
So do so at ur own risk.

Guys, I just had a genius idea. What if...  we open up a C2C Support Desk. Customers ask questions. Customers answer questions. Rami sits in his chair and smiles.  Grin

Anyone that has received their Black Widow, can you post a link to the PSU that you ordered online? Did you really need 4 separate PCI-E power lines?

Let me expand on this idea...

Best case:
Maybe you could reward customers who answer questions and lighten your support load with BTC rewards based on performance (maybe per resolved issue).

Or...

Worst case:
Offer a C2C Support Desk with user paid bounty system. Users could pay a BTC bounty (they set the price) and pay the reward into escrow, then when they choose a an answer the winner is awarded the bounty.

P.S. my hash rate about 1.322 MH/s
No idea on that one bud. Did you give it enough time to start hashing before changing pools?

You mean it runs hot? It disperses heat well? Or it heats up the room? Curious cause I have one on the way as well.

Did you measure power taken from the wall outlet or is this pure the power taken by the device?
I can imagine that it will get rather hot with 40W and a hand sized heat-sink with a small fan.
There seem to be quite a lot of hardware errors, is this normal? or did you increase the clock too much?

Love it, but we are about to move off this forum. The time has finally come to have or own Smiley

I would be honored if some of you want to step up to become admins.

My Antminers LOVED my Anker 3.0 9-port hub with its 12V 5amp power supply... but the PI sure didn't like it!

All (10) of my gridseeds are running on the USB 2.0 hub that came as part of the 10-gridseed kit.  It is working beautifully with them.

A powered USB hub is not really necessary for the Gridseeds, they draw hardly any power from the USB port.
I have 20 of them running on 2x 10 port hubs, both not powered.

Anyone that has received their Black Widow, can you post a link to the PSU that you ordered online? Did you really need 4 separate PCI-E power lines?

I should have mine today and will post a video, pics, tutorial, etc.
