Does anyone know if zenMiner will work with the Zeus miners?  I have one coming today and think it would be sweet if I could have my GAW Fury and Zeus Cyclone both on my Zen Controller.

Thanks!

The only miners currently supported are Gridseed and GAW Miners Generation A Miners, but we are rapidly rolling out support for additional hardware. Since your zenMiner Controller is a cloud-based device, as soon as we add support for a new miner, your controller will be good to go!

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Just an FYI in case anyone else is experiencing it:   I am having login problems at zenminer.  Registered yesterday and activated my controller, set up pools, etc.  Can't get logged in today.  The login screen just sits there doing nothing, not complaining, not logging me in.

I have e-mail support@zenminers and PMed their rep here.

Anyone else having similar problems?

Yes but only in Firefox. I logged in no problem with Chrome.

I'm trying to decide if I want to buy a ZenMiner Controller to play with since it works with Gridseed products (I assume blades). Can someone provide me with some screenshots of the Cloud UI Dashboard? Maybe a feature walkthrough?

While wireless devices are not supported in the launch release, we may be including support in a future release. In the meantime, for those of you who require wireless, you can always use an inexpensive wireless bridge device like the one found here -> http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-Linksys-WET11-Wireless-Ethernet-Bridge/dp/B000066JQU

Forgive me if I'm sounding ticked off, but learning the above plus seeing my shipment bounce all over the western US instead of coming fairly direct to me have combined to put me in a pretty foul mood atm.  So....

Uhhh...  that site says "2 new from $100" and, frankly, $100 isn't "inexpensive" in my books.  As well, if I want to go that route I now have to order another part and wait for it to come!  I sure wish I'd known about this before!

So, correct me if I'm wrong...  since it appears I can't use zenminer unless I either string network cable or buy an (cough!) "inexpensive" bridge can I buy a cheap memory card, install the raspberry pi o/s and the GAW cgminer software and run the furys via wifi that way???

Thanks for your help...

Chris

Any old wireless bridge will do the trick. There are plenty of cheap ones out there. Such as this, this or even this! Those to me are inexpensive.

Zenminer questions:

I have two pools defined:

stratum+tcp://mine.multicoinpool.org:3310
and
stratum+tcp://mine.coinshift.com:3333

It appears that the miner is round-robining based on very quick data I'm seeing.  Is there anyway to specify failover behavior?  Without that, sites like betarigs is NOT going to work... reducing the potential payback of our rigs a lot.

Also curious if we are going to be allowed to tune our rigs via clock settings and the like?

Is it the goal of zenMINER to accommodate such things, or is the target audience just the plug&go crowd?  (In which case we would just need to use zenMINER as a firmware update site).

Thanks for the links, volder.  However, they're in the US and I'm in Canada, so unless I want to go through another 2-3 days of waiting for stuff to come, they're not all that helpful.  I'll do some searching on amazon.ca (and elsewhere) and see if I can come up with something within my limited, low-income, living-on-a-pension budget.

My point, though, is that it would've been nice to know this before now.  Also, I'm still wondering what my other options are, such as running the pi using the pi o/s and cgminer, or even maybe running it with my gridseeds on my other (linux laptop) controller?

Again, thanks for any help provided.  I'll calm down shortly.

Chris

I understand what you are saying. However, it's an EASY fix. It took me a whole 30 seconds to find this: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/sys/4492909647.html

Drive out to Best Buy (or Walmart) and get a Netgear one.  Best Buy price matches Amazon, so you can get the amazon price and not have to wait for shipping.  I use one for my mining rigs, and I'll probably be putting this one down there with them as well.

Well my package is in NJ and has been updated to -With delivery courier so idk if that means its out for delievery and ill get it today or if it means something else. I really hope it comes today!!!

It should mean it's out for delivery, congrats!!
Mine just came from DHL, but my zenminer doesn't seem to be able to register yet and I can't get cgminer working on my mac...so I still have to wait  Cry

Mine also went to "With delivery courier" and then "Delivery attempted; recipient not home" - Sad... I was hoping they would leave it without a signature. I guess tomorrow is another day.

How long have you left it running? I know that a lot of pools need between 30min - several hours before the listed hashrate is close to accurate.

It's the Fury.  The pool seems accurate (a bit low though), but cgminer is way high.  Did I miss something?

Thanks!
