The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

good stuff. I see they keep changing their statement about the cost. It now says, "Free for now" and not Free! But we plan to implement enterprise solutions etc...

I'm guessing they'll start scraping hash as payments... in the future.

I don't care for "Free for now" either.  Unless they offer more features like remote rebooting of hung devices automatically or modifications of clock rates I would rather just have a regular Pi run my miners.

zenminer is up and accepting registrations.

Looks like they're still trying to get SSL working. I'm not sure why they would go live without this being setup properly.  Sad

You can manually go to https://zenminer.com However, the signup page is broken when using SSL.

I'll hold off to sign up till they fix this.

Edit: Looks like the issue is due to them calling jquery over http instead of https. Same issue with the font they're using from Google.

Is there any contact information for Zenminer? I can't seem to locate an email address other than the developer's who registered the domain name.  Undecided

Here is the open software link: https://gawminers.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202395200-cgminer-binary-and-config

Please be advised, if you overwrite your ZenController, you will not longer have support for that device. Thaks!

Thanks for posting these. One minor thing though; it seems that it's missing the source code and a copy of the license which is required to comply with the cgminer licensing (GPL). Just giving you guys a quick heads up.  Wink That is unless I'm blind and missed them.  Cheesy

It'll also be interesting to see how quickly other mining software developers add support.

Quick question. Will it only be possible to update the firmware on the miners through ZenMiner or will you also be releasing a standalone updater?

+1 open software, needs the source and licenses included.

Hey Guys,

We found out some disappointing news...... Today we found out some strong evidence showing that one of our competitors is compensating some/all of the "guest" that have been relentlessly trolling our thread the last few days.

I became suspicious when I noticed that they only really became aggressively active when our first product started shipping (launch day). It also never made sense, that no customer (no matter how upset) works that hard to attempt to discredit a company. Additionally, two of the four are not even customers. So we did some digging.

Luckily, we have a good hunch on who has been providing for them them, and I have a meeting with the CEO there tomorrow.

Hopefully I come back with some good news and we can get back to focus on mining Smiley

but, well.... There is only one 'competitor' shipping and that is Zeus. And we all know that GAW miners come from Zeus. So this doesn't make much sense.

All other smalltime internetshops I can't see as competition. And I can't see Gridseed for example as competition. So.... whatthehell ?

Reseller....

Allright. Well, GAW get them ! Tongue

We are on it!

Since Josh did ask in the thread, can folks provide updates on hosted mining for the community?

Thanks!

And dude, you asked people for this info, why can't I remind them that you asked for it and people are curious to hear about it?  What could you be hiding? Wink
Sure. What would you like to know?

How is performance holding up?  Yesterday I can recall folks talking about high discard/reject/hardware, curious about the progress on that.

The only screenshot I've seen from someone running a Fury (what I'm getting) showed a short-term stat screen of A:67 / HW:3, and I don't want to extrapolate that a Fury really has a 4.5% HW rate while running stable from that little data, so interested to see how hosted performance is improving since hosted units will have the benefit of the absolute latest hardware and software. Smiley
Performance is improving hour by hour. There were never high reject or hardware errors. The high discard errors have gone down quite a bit. I am now down from 25% to 10% discards. However, after reading extensively about it, discards don't matter one bit if you are mining on a stratum server. So these don't bother me a bit.

I have 6 rejects over the last 7.5 hours and over 13,000 accepted on my War Machine. Very low reject rate.

Anything else you would like to know?

What kind of Hash Rate are you seeing?

Anyone connected to zenminer yet? If so could we get a look at it?

Also, anyone hosting a falcon that can post hash rates?

Thanks in advance.

I posted my poolside hash results a few pages back. I am seeing 56-58Mh on most pools and 60+Mh on Nicehash. I do not know why its so much higher on nicehash, but it is, and I won't complain.
