How much power draw on the pre production unit you have then? Did prices go up since the big gun was added? Like the week 3 war machine.
Are those HW error's or am I reading that wrong?
Yea all I'm seeing is a 13% rejection rate and a shitload of hardware errors... Guys, this is not a production unit, its still is being debugged. We are on track for next week

Can I ask what you are intending to correct about the 'Big Gun'? In terms of performance issues and power usage, what numbers are you aiming for before you release it?
It's just that you can spend less than that right now on an Innosilicon A2 90 that'll hash happily at 80+Mh/s for 800w of power. There are forum users here who are dependable and reliable sellers and, if wanted, hosters, for these Terminators, yet you are trying to shift 5 100Mh units that'll draw so much electricity the power bill at the end of each month is going to be a huge issue and, what's more, they are not going to be shipped until June?
Surely you can't be happy with those numbers yourself GAW, so why expect your customers to be?

Sometimes I just don't understand people. If an offer doesn't fit your wallet or doesn't fit your electricity bill why bother buying? Just go on and buy some other machine which does fit your needs. GAW announced a 100Mhs machine with the particular power draw, if these specs aren't what you're looking for, don't stop and look further. just my 2cents

Perhaps I missed out a few weeks ago...but: will there be any future promo to get the people who still have 10 sets of gridseeds...to upgrade to blades, etc. again? Just curious.

I just don't understand people. If an offer doesn't fit your wallet or doesn't fit your electricity bill why bother buying? All decent businesses would rather hear a potential customer speak up about an issue they see with a product, than to stay silent and simply go elsewhere. GAW might be able to reply with something that clarifies the situation sufficiently to entice me and other customers concerned about the current stated specs to keep up to date with the progress on product release. I don't see why you felt compelled to complain.

In regards to the hosted upgrade is there going to be any downtime on our current blades before the Black Widows come up if we upgrade? Also, what is the warranty on the GAW brand miners? I believe I saw you say somewhere they would have a 1 year warranty.
Thanks

Do you not run numbers? Prices, Hashes and electric draw? If you can combine 2 War Machines to make a Big gun but the big gun is under performing (100 instead of 108) and uses MORE power (2800 instead of 2500) Yes, you SHOULD be asking questions like this guy did. Some people throw money at miners, some people do their due diligence. But it could be the blind bat customers like you who keep this company afloat GAW announces some specs, they also announced they won't release more specs until completely sure about them. They announced: War Machine: 54mh/s @1280 +/- 10% Big Gun: 100mh/s @2800w +/- 10% Wouldn't they just release a lower number if the number was actually lower. My point being, GAW gives you specs upon which you can make your descision. And if you feel like other vendors have better specs than go ahead and order with them. And yes I do run the numbers based on the info which is given.

Josh said your blade would go offline on the day you'd order the upgrade. So if you order today you would have no hashes untill 9th of june (roughly 3 weeks). Cheers

Hosted Miners are back, and you can now upgrade your hosted miner to another hosted miner it's 499.95 + whatever they (GAW) makes with your miners for 21 days or more depending on when exactly you place your order (GAW will most likely be mining with them until they need space/room or has a seller for them), so you end up paying more than 499.xx if you upgrade early or on the 18th and they end up making more the sooner you give them up- anybody seeing this differently , LMK. GAW - any better options for those that has felt the most sting since April drop of prices ?

Yeah this makes it not very appealing as I will be losing 1365$ at the current rate if I take all mine down for 3 weeks.

I get they need to make money on this as well, but even perhaps they do a 50/50 (let us mine with half hashing) till we get the miners upgraded would be better then zero... unless I'm mistaken I can't see you offloading all that inventory on the 18th.. let us mine with them at fifty for us and fifty percent of mining profit to GAW ? Yeah , I understand this is something that you don't have to offer, I get that.. I also get that you're offering it cause you believe in your customer base and want to do right by them and I think you will come up with a better solution than having us loose more for believing and digging even deeper in our pockets to secure our beliefs in you. GAW, I believe we can work something better than having your clients getting zero mining for 21 days after we provided you with funds/money that will be sitting in your escrow.

Wouldn't they just release a lower number if the number was actually lower. If it was, I'm sure they would, of course. My question, however, was what they were going to be attempting to change about the shockingly poor numbers associated with this unit. They said that firmware and various adjustments were going to be made before they release it to market, I'd just like to know what they intend to settle for in terms of reaching that point. I can understand now why they charge so much for hosting if they are having to run a 100Mh unit at 2800w. It just strikes me that they are relying solely on the reluctance of their customer-base to deal with 'foreign' vendors in order to justify putting out devices that are clearly well short of the mark. Knowing that GAWminer, themselves, are more than happy to do business with Chinese producers, it is a tad galling to see them attempting to market a miner that isn't going to be available until next month, at specs that are sub-standard at this time, when they know that 28nm Innosilicon units are available right now. It doesn't sit right and I think the earlier commenter might have hit the nail on the head when he postulated as to whom GAW were aiming to sell the 'Big Gun' to.

It doesn't sit right and I think the earlier commenter might have hit the nail on the head when he postulated as to whom GAW were aiming to sell the 'Big Gun' to. I just did some math on power consumption and I really hope there is an error somewhere: Gridseed small: 20W per MH/s Gridseed blade: 17W per MH/s Fury: 30W per MH/s Black Widow: 25W per MH/s Falcon: 24W per MH/s War Machine: 24W per MH/s Big Gun: 28W per MH/s Even assuming 10% overestimate on power consumption and 20% underestimate on performance, these numbers are worse than Gridseed, let alone Innosilicon. However Zeus gives different numbers for their miners (roughly 13W per MH/s), so hopefully theirs are correct.

There seems to be talk like the GAW miners are similar to Zeus miners. Does anyone know where GAW got their miners from? Are they Zeus knock-offs or from a different company?

I like where you guys are going with this! I agree it's hard to give up that hash power immediately for a promise 3 weeks down the line. Who knows what the price of the 13MHs unit will be at that point too!
