Sorry Guys, but getting a little frustrated. Purchased a week two Falcon through Paypal on May 7th. It is now may 18th and we still have no refunds to paypal orders. I intend to upgrade my order to a week one falcon and week one fury just for fun. Although we are getting really close to the 26th.

Spoke with Josiah by phone yesterday and was informed that all paypal refunds were to be processed yesterday (May 17th) and would take 2 to 3 business days to hit my bank. Was told that I could NOT be issued store credit. Now I am reading that the refunds haven't been processed and will be done Monday (May 19th).

What exactly is going to happen with Paypal Orders (Refunds? Credits?)

I admit this whole things is probably outside of GAW's control, but someone has to decide what is going to happen. Rather just have the money refunded, rather than waiting to see how things play out with paypal.

Hi, please my previous post.

Your right, it is out of our control. Paypal has been telling us they will process the refund since wed. Sorry for the delay on this. As mentioned before, I have set aside enough of batch one so you can purchase at the lower price Smiley

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

As someone else has suggested (and it worked for me once):
1) Try removing all the pools, then re-entering them
2) If you have more than 1 blade, set a unique entry in the pool list with a unique worker name for each blade.  Then assign each blade from the drop-down list.  This way you can monitor each blade for problems.

From my own experience, set your worker/share difficulty on your pool to 1024 or 512. Share difficulties of 16 or 32 make the blades perform unreliably, in my experience.

Thanks for the reference... glad the tips helped someone else out! My blades have been hashing away nicely since my original post.

Any ETA when the Fury/Blizzard photos will be actual working units and not renders?  It is kinda uneasy seeing these renders so close to ship date.

Nice.  Congrats!

Question:  How long do you think the pre-orders for each 'Week' (1,2,3) will last as each of those dates approach?  Or is it dependent on unit pre-orders remaining?

I ask since I was thinking of buying a single War Machine (Week 1) and then purchasing a second War Machine (Week 3) a week or two afterwards - once I see that the hashing power and performance are as advertised.

Thanks for the good work.

Hi! It is stock dependent. So it would depend on when you order.

Week One is officially sold out!

Thanks for the orders Smiley Off to get the miners staged. If your order got held due to paypal, and you were looking for a week one miner, we will open a a short window for you to get your orders in once the refund is complete.

PS, we have a special surprise for you guys Smiley hehe

Josh, you had said both hosted and non-hosted would receive the same price cuts and thus credits. has that changed? i.e. for a $40 difference  as per the website,  hosting doesnt seem that cconvenient for many of us.
please clarify that.
i bought 2x week 2 hosted fury

Is that opportunity to order week one miners due to PayPal holding the refund only for those who originally ordered week one miners? I have a week two Fury miner (PayPal pre-order) that I might want to upgrade to week one if that's an option. If not then no big deal, but just wondering.  Smiley

Special surprise? Can't wait to hear more about it! Grin

Hi

It has been wrote at the top of this thread about the additional cost of being hosted but but if you ring them up they can cancel your hosted so you can order the delivered version either way they will probably work out the same price due to import duty

The PayPal problem somehow only affected pre-orders because GAW doesn't take two weeks to ship in stock products so there is no way they'd be refunding two weeks of shipped orders.

I'm thinking that I will initiate the PayPal refund myself today just to get it over with.  It is taking too long and support has not been able to confirm if my order is affected or not.

Can these positions be remote?  or do they have to be local?  If they are local, where are the location(s)?

Thanks!

I contacted support about the used Gridseeds I received from GAW and they seem completely caught by surprise about this.  3 out of the last 4 Gridseeds I received are used.

Support (request # 10134 with photos) told me that they buy all of their Gridseeds directly from Gridseed and they don't sell used Gridseeds.  Somehow used Gridseeds got introduced in the supply chain because there is no doubt that these are used.  One was so dirty that I got dirt on my hands from just handling it.

Will you give a $10 store credit per used Gridseed to the customers that got used equipment instead of the expected new equipment?

Also, will you be selling used equipment going forward as hosting customers upgrade to new equipment?
