So Ajax dropped 2 more points today. That means they have now dropped over 5 points in their last 2 games. The issue is that even if PSV doesn't drop any point themselves, they might still not win it if Ajax wins their remaining games of the season. As much as I'd like to see PSV win it I still think it's very unlikely that it would happen as Ajax is lokrlyto keep close to 100% win record and PSV might drop points.

In last 15 games Ajax have 38 points PSV who was leading league table and also have at his best able to have just 25 points this make big difference between then while 4 matches remaining for PSV which is currently 7 points behind leaders Ajax.

In case of win all matches for PSV they will be having 79 points and Ajax which is having 74 points needed only 2 wins from their next 3 games which will give them title so it's not looking easy for PSV to win title in this season it's all about Ajax. Feyenoord is strongly looking for third spot while Utrecht also done good job, but sadly they could be stayed at 4th spot title is gone with Ajax had historic comeback which is going to be written in Golden words while no one was talking about them and their chances for win.

What's wrong with Ajax, they don't want to take title, or what? They wasted already second opportunity. And it's not that they played bad today, they had lot of moments to score, but in the end they had to save their asses from loss and game with Sparta ended 1:1.
Ok, they still have everything in their hands, but PSV got significantly closer. If PSV will win 31st round it will be just 4 points between them and Ajax and 3 rounds remaining.

Hahaha seems like they were called by the TV broadcasters to lift the feet from the throttle, so the people can enjoy the last games of the season and see the matches for "something".

Or maybe they are just having bad memories from the start of the season.

Now jokes asides, i dont know what are they doing, i still think they are 99% with the championship in his hands, but come on secure it.

They are just complacent these days. Already having an advantage of 7 points must have made them a little more relaxed. But no need to take risks honestly.

Only if PSV is very unlucky and loses the next games would Ajax be champions.

Even though they play against weak teams, the chances of them losing have become very high, unlike 10 games ago when they were playing very well and exuding confidence. Today they seem to have returned to the past, something like last season when they were constantly losing. I can't understand what the hell is happening to them. Only if PSV is very unlucky and loses the next games would Ajax be champions.

Even if PSV wins their next match, they will be 4 points behind Ajax. Ajax will only play 3 more matches. It is very unlikely that Ajax will lose two of the last 3 matches. Ajax will play two of the three matches against two weak teams like NAC and NEC. Even if they are not in good form today, winning these two matches is not a very difficult task for a big team like Ajax.

So we have Feyenoord (3rd) playing away against Heracles (12th) this Saturday.
Heracles has not much left to play, they are safe above the relegation zone (although, mathematically speaking, they could still face relegation if they were to lose all their remaining games, if Willem II won all of theirs and if the teams from 13-15 places overtook Heracles as well, but that's not going to happen). Feyenoord is probably desperate for points to secure their 3rd place and don't give Utrecht a chance to jump over them.
The odds for Feyenoord winning are x1.56, which seems pretty good. I would hesitate to bet on them though, given Heracles tend to perform quite good at home. Their average point per game at home is 1 point higher than for their away games, meaning that if they approach that game seriously, they could cause Feyenoord some problems.
Then again, Feyenoord is on 6 league wins streak, so there are no signs of them slowing down.

yup, it's definitely going to be a tough job for PSV but not impossible. My final thoughts and prediction is that Ajax will win the title with PSV giving it a final push but it won't be enough. Fighting for the title right now is already far gone. I'm saying this as a Liverpool fan. Liverpool have been in the same position like PSV (leading, slipped, then fighting back) but it always ended in disappointment.

but the biggest problem is in the game against Twente, who have not managed to win in the last 5 games, something that could even make Ajax very optimistic about winning, but historically Twente has caused a lot of headaches for Ajax in the last games in which both teams have faced each other.

Ajax's great luck is that they will be playing at home against Twente and they will be benefiting from the fact that Twente is doing bad. Ajax has 3 games against teams that are not doing well, but the problem is that they can still make mistakes and lose points. That's why I'm going to pray that PSV loses points in the next games.

Currently the match between NEC VS Willem II is underway, the match has entered the final minutes and the temporary score is 1-1

It is very unfortunate, facing a relegation team and playing as the host, this should have been a fairly easy match for NEC. And unexpectedly, right after the match started, NEC's back line made a fatal mistake which resulted in an own goal which occurred exactly one minute after the first half started.
NEC continued to build attack after attack to be able to break down Willem II's defense, but Willem II's defense was strong enough that NEC was only able to equalize the score right in the 83rd minute through a goal scored by K. Shiogai. There are still a few minutes left, I hope NEC can score one more goal and win.

Willem II lost at home to Heracles, guaranteeing that they will finish at worst 16th in the league.If they had won this game they would still have a chance, but going into the last 2 weeks the points difference with NAC Breda was 7 and with this game there is no chance of finishing 15th in the league.Now they will be in a race with their other rivals to at least play out. I think they will finish 16th in the league because Willem II's remaining matches will be with the 2 teams just above them.Waalwijk will have matches against Heerenveen and Feyenoord, so I think they have no chance of finishing 16th in the league.They will keep the point difference with Almere.

Edit: PSV leveled few minutes later. And now, they just took the lead 2-3. Its insane because they added 6 minutes extra time and PSV's 3rd goal was scored in 90' +10 because of a VAR check for a PSV goal that was disallowed.

In last two games, suddenly their performance bring back things in balance because current at the end of first half against Nijmegen score is 0–0 and points difference is also just 2 which can bring this title race back for both top teams PSV doing amazing stuff and Ajax losing rhythm. PSV handed Feyenoord defeat at their home which give them good motivation for having another chance of title race even things are still in favour of Ajax, but they can turn the tables which is going to be big drama at the end.

Ajax remaining games can give them 6 points and PSV is also having chance of taking which could be give good advantage to leaders Ajax but if Twente have something surprising against them surely It's going to be heartbroken for them and their fans which are enjoying, but currently today result is also going to be interesting for this.

It is very unfortunate, instead of Ajax Amsterdam focusing on strengthening their position at the top of the standings, they actually lost their consistency where the team experienced 3 bad results in the last 3 weeks, Ajax was only able to get 1 point from their last 3 matches with a record, losing 4-0 to FC Utrecht, drawing 1-1 to Sparta Rotterdam and most recently they had to lose 3-0 to NEC Nijmegen.

With these bad results, their distance from PSV Eindhoven is now very thin, where now the difference is only one point. Ajax Amsterdam's position is currently really threatened.

Ajax`s recent 0-3 home defeat was actually quite concerning, especially after PSV's dramatic comeback against Feyenoord. However, reverting to a 4-3-3 formation and stabilizing the starting eleven will restore the rhythm I think.

Ajax will need to regroup quickly if they are planning on securing the title. Any further mishap is going to cost them exactly that.

The Eredivisie journey this season is truly extraordinary, we see how PSV Eindhoven dominated the league from the beginning to the middle of the season, but because they lost focus while still playing in the UCL, their points in the Eredivisie immediately plummeted and were displaced from the top of the standings by Ajax Amsterdam.

Until the middle of the season until now, Ajax continues to be at the top of the standings, and they even excel with a fairly large difference in points, but who would have thought that towards the end of the season, Ajax had to lose their consistency in winning. And they even had to lose badly to NEC, which is a team that is not considered this season because it is in 13th place in the standings.
