Well it's no longer a feedback thread, now it's a witch hunt/conspiracy thread. I only bother to post because it's fun hearing these guys spout out these ridiculous theories.

So in other words, reactor, you just said that GAW somehow knew how to set up the miners, they didn't have fire in their facility, didn't melt the PSUs or damage due to the bad wiring, everything got connected right and mined right, yet you had problems with all these things.

And nope, I'm not paid for writing in this topic, I'm paid for running a signature campaign, but just can't read this without saying a word.

You were offered a refund and didn't take it, you claim you have difficulties setting up the hardware you got, but claim GAW mined on it before shipping.
So it worked when they were testing it but you can't set it up properly, yet don't want to return it.

IMO you're just bored and like to argue, the length of your posts proves it.

See the problem with you GAW loyalists (I hope that's not offensive, let me know if there is a better way to characterize what you're trying to do) is that you tend to skip over the substance of some very important points and keep repeating the PR slogans and "agenda" conspiracy. Could you please address the power vs difficulty question without veering into a straw man argument?

So you guys using a fake account to back your posts is not important enough?

I was assured that the power consumption was tested on LTC before shipping and was within the parameters shown on the site. What you see drawn from the grid depends on what you mine and what PSU you use.

Like I said you love the attention and stirring the pot.

So you set up the miner and don't check what address is in the configuration, just plug it in and think it will know its owner.

As for the rest I got one answer for you: REFUND

Somebody agreeing with one of my posts does not make it a fake account. Is alienesb your fake account? Are you GAW CEO's fake account? BTW I had a mirror image of this argument with the CEO who claimed that I have an agenda just because I disagreed with him. Agree = fake, disagree = agenda. Can't win.

I was asking specifically about your statement that "The higher the difficulty the more power the machine needs" and what is the ratio of that power increase. I.e. how much more power will be needed as LTC difficulty continues to rise. I find it quite unbelievable ("utter bollocks" actually) but if you have a source to back it up please do. "I was assured" doesn't count, we were all assured it's going to be 15W and look where that got us.

So if they tested on LTC, why does Zeus show Aurora, Doge, LTC, and FeatherCoin on their site?  They're selling scrypt hardware but only ever really checked in on LTC?  Now that makes sense.

I think LTC has the highest hashrate and highest difficulty of all Scrypt coins, so it should have the highest power consumption. Mining anything else should be significantly less wire-melting. I'm really struggling with this power-to-diff thing to say the least. Can't wait for my Blizzards (ironic name if you think about it), will do some testing with different coins.

Edit: speeling.

I used to run Zoomhash campaign before GAW even came to this forums so I can't be Josh, sorry for disappointing you. On the other hand an account made yesterday to praise your posts leads to you, whether you like it or not.
I wasn't talking about LTC difficulty but different coins. Not all of them draw the same amount of power from the unit, period.
My opinion doesn't count, so sad,  I'm not the one who tested these, just don't agree with the way you're handling things in this thread. Like I said before don't like it, return it and the deal is closed.

Don't you find it strange that this whole thread is fueled by just you and reactor?

I think you may have misunderstood something here. I'm not handling or fueling anything, this is unmoderated thread, you can post anything you want as long as you are willing to take fire for it, which you seem to be, so respect for that. On the other hand anybody can post anything, so deal with that too. I'm still not sure how a user who agreed with one of my posts "leads" to me, but hey, free speech, you're welcome.

On the subject of diff, as I posted just above, most if not all other coins have LOWER difficulty, so would it mean lower power consumption? The miner certainly has no idea which coin it's mining, all Scrypt hashes are the same. The only thing that can be different is how often it hits a share but even that depends on pool difficulty, not coin/network difficulty. All I'm looking for is is some link or other reference if you can't answer yourself.

Edit: missing _____.

That's a good one for an "in-stock-we're-not-like-the-others" product Smiley . Although to be fair they are all using stock pictures. E.g.:

https://justasic.com/shop/a2mini/

The only one with an original design as far as I know is LA, albeit somewhat ghetto:

Don't you find it strange that this whole thread is fueled by just you and reactor?

Don't you find it strange nobody is even remotely defending GAW?  They did a million in pre-orders, they added 80 pages to their moderated thread in ~14 days, their fans on their forum are jubilant and their fans were quite jubilant here until someone (me Cheesy) said "here's the things GAW said in the order they said them in".  Very shortly afterwards they pulled out of the biggest forum in the Crypto community because they couldn't disprove accusations based on things they themselves said.  Josh said they shipped over 1000 ZenBoxes, and we know from people writing here that some folks who ordered multiple units only got one zenBox, so that is a lot of people getting orders.  Oh yeah, and Josh said they sold how many A2's? Look at the ZenMiner thread on here.  1000 went out and only five pages, mostly happy customers?  What?

Now compare the amount of people discussed above to the number of people writing about GAW on here, on Reddit, even chatter on their own forums.  That many orders, the timeline for power info, and a handful of complaints, mostly all here?  Like nobody from the 27th through the 29th when people on the moderated thread started getting orders and commenting on power?  Nobody?  On the internet?  In the crypto world?

Long con.  Not that many orders, many suckers made.  Hardware that performs worse than competitors but was sold as better than competitors.  And GAW has been mining for a couple months and can afford refunds now because it looks like they made more than enough off of customers via mining with what looks like customer hardware based on the confirmed shipping dates from DHL and when the pool drop-offs happened.

Since so much of this is public statements made by GAW, I've actually found it quite useful to forward on to parties who might be interested in covering news (if there is a story, they will find it) or damage this may have done to their businesses.

Again, this isn't kid stuff.  I think Josh thought it was.

I have to disagree with you they allow cc so you get refunds.  So how on earth does the long con work?

Basically I don't think this is a con since they allowed cc purchases  which means you can send the gear back and get a

refund.

But I think a shit load of people will ask for refunds.

Here is the major problem:

Gridseed blades are pulling 17 watts for 1mh if you use a plat psu and mine for LTC on wemineltc or cex.io

GAW miners are pulling over 30 watts for 1mh  and mine for LTC

That is a big problem. For me it means buy gridseed blades do not buy GAW/Zeus gear.

So for now I buy gridseed blades.

I may buy an A2 miner but not until I see proof of watt use.

From a testing standpoint, not to add to fud or anything:
I'm still waiting to test low diff coins to see what the exact deal is. Starcoin - downloaded all 800k blocks, just to find out invalid checkpoint. on to smartcoin....

I'm not a tech guy, why are you asking me that?

Let me remind you how this works, because it seems you've never bought anything in your life:

1. You buy a product
2. You don't like it
3. You contact the seller to ask for RMA
4. You give back the gear and get your money

Here's how a dumb person acts:

1. Buys a product
2. Gives negative feedback before even receiving an item
3. Gets it and decides he doesn't like it
4. Calls seller a fraud, and punches the keyboard all day in anger
4. Never really gives back the item cause he likes both the product and playing a victim

See any similarities?
