So to answer @Sithara007, CONMEBOL teams have a chance of 63.3% of qualifying to World Cup which is x2 European teams chances and x3.5 at least the rest of the world chances which is ridiculous and unfair imo regarding that this competition is dintended to allow most countries of the world get a chance to qualify and play internationally vs other teams in different continents. Otherwise, UEFA could pick 22 best teams + 10 CONMEBOL ones and they form Bi-Continental Cup that would way better to watch than current World Cup.
What makes WC (World Cup ) good is when you see surprises and weaker teams advance instead of favourite bigger ones.

It is unfair to the CONMEBOL teams given their quality. They are a hundred times better than any of the AFC or CAF teams. Do you really think that the top teams from AFC, such as Saudi Arabia, China and South Korea would stand a chance against the weakest teams from CONMEBOL (Bolivia, Venezuela.etc)? Anyway, I am OK with the current allocation, in which 6 teams come from CONMEBOL and 16 from the UEFA. Other confederations still have 26 slots between them and there is no point in complaining.

If I remember correctly, the expansion of the number of participants is carried out mainly not by increasing the number of teams from Europe, but by increasing the number of teams from other regions. And I also hate the format of the qualifying tournament in Africa when the teams are forced to play a knockout match. This guarantees that 50% of the strongest teams will be eliminated from the tournament. I think the selection system should be changed here.

In recent time we have good development in Japan but still they are not good enough for competing against tough teams from Europe and South America because recently I was watching one match against Costa Rica which they lost badly because they were far ahead from them in quality but still good things happening, and they are taking good experience from UEFA clubs and many players are giving their best with in next world cup they are in tough group where they have few chances but still as we all know any result is possible on match day.

In last few years, we have only two teams which are on well development in AFC and these are Japan and South Korea, third is Australia, but these all need some good time for having good future in this game.

Their performance was absolutely insane in the qualifiers which made them the top seed and I also actually give high hopes to Brazil considering that with their current players the performance they aim for in the qualifiers will add to their popularity in the title contenders.

In fact, I'm also rooting for a final between Brazil and a European team... there are several interesting candidates, but I'd like to see him face France, Portugal or England.
Of course, a final between Brazil and Argentina would be classic and very interesting, but Brazil lost to Argentina in the Conmebol America Cup, and I wouldn't like to see that happen again in the FIFA world cup.

Well.. somewhere you need to find a balance. Both the factors need to be considered. Stronger teams needs to qualify, and at the same time there should be adequate representation from all the geographies. In my previous posts, one of the options that I put forward was to have a global qualifying system for the second phase, rather than the confederation-based tournaments. The first set of 32 teams can be selected from the region-based qualifiers. But for the remaining 16 teams, there should be a global qualifier tournament. This will make sure that only the stronger teams get qualification.

Brazil is always favorite in World Cup even they are having not good performance in last 2 decades, so maybe this is trap or bookmakers tactics like we have from them in Champions League every year three teams at top with hot favorite tag even these teams not reaching into final, but they are eating good money for this all.

There is no doubt Brazil is one of the most amazing team in soccer history, and they produced few extraordinary players in this game, but recently they are having no class like past which is surely a concern for them but now in this event too much talk happening about them which is having something special about them with most chances European are going to dominant in last two decades and this year again they have few good teams.

Do you mean an all-against-all tournament with the possibility that, for example, all these 16 places will be occupied by teams from Europe (if they are better than the rest of the teams)? Maybe it would be a good compromise and I would follow such a tournament with more interest than the final part.

However, at this world championship, there are still plenty of high-quality and strong national teams such as England, Germany, Belgium, Argentina etc. and a very uncertain competition awaits us.

Yes Brazil have good record in winning the world,  they have done very well in the past. But this time I don't think Brazil can win the world the Cup , not even Argentina. This time if care is not taking it might go for England,  the England team have strong tough squad to won the world cup.

It is natural that no team can win the title for three or four consecutive years because the World Cup itself is only held once every four years, so even though Brazil have not won a World Cup title in the last 20 years it is something that is natural. Even so far only Italy and Brazil can win the World Cup title in two successive World Cup titles, but about the Qatar World Cup I think there are several teams that have a chance to win the title and it's not only Brazil. Brazil's crushing defeat of Germany in the 2014 World Cup certainly shocked football lovers. By the way, the World Cup which will be held in Qatar in terms of quality, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, will be the group winners on paper. although in the match later all teams have the potential to beat the big teams. Here I agree with you about France they are at their best and can defend their title without any big trouble but with it's very long time for CONMEBOL not having any good result and this time their both teams are also in very strong shape which is going to create some trouble for European contenders because both are going at place where weather is also not problem for them even this can create problem for Europeans specially Central European countries.

But, most of the other continent teams will be in good shape because this all is favoring them as well which is also big advantage for them with this most chances Brazil and Argentina can perform better and can go through for title.

In this case, even though France are quite good in terms of players at the moment, in my opinion it is still quite risky. We can see their poor performance in the league of nations although many people say that this is not a reference but still this can still be used as a benchmark, especially with their strategy which I think currently Deschamps still can't find a good formula there.
