Ronaldo may not be needed much for this game and it should be an opportunity for other players who are given a chance. Ronaldo looked fit to play but the coach didn't play him and maybe gave him a chance in the second half. But without Ronaldo, Portugal's game was also very good and now they managed to score one goal through Ramos.

I don't think Portugal will really be in trouble for this game because Switzerland is playing open. This match is much more exciting to watch than the previous Morocco vs Spain match. Switzerland looks like they could score too, so I hope Portugal don't underestimate them.

At the moment Portugal is 2 goals ahead of Switzerland, so I think they just need to play it safe until the match ends. Switzerland did try to do their best for this match where they were brave enough to play openly and attack well, but several opportunities really failed for them at this time.

Portugal is also likely to try to score more goals in this game because I don't see them reducing the tempo of their attacks. well it looks like the first half will end pretty well for Portugal. Switzerland will be a bit depressed mentally in the second half. because the difference of two goals in the first round is a bad thing I think. Even I thought that in the second half Portugal would score again. But I hope in the second half CR will be played. because I support Portugal because there is CR in it. so if you see Portugal's match without CR, I think it will be a little boring. but to be honest the current line-up is also really good. but it would be better if there is CR.

I'm agreeing with you that pepe scored a nice goal with his nice head. In the match, Switzerland's first half went well under pressure. But match position pass accuracy is not far from anyone else in all other respects. Even though Cristiano Ronaldo is on the bench today, I still don't think Portugal's strength has diminished. For Switzerland to make a comeback, I think they should emphasize their attacking. But my prediction is that I don't think Switzerland can make a comeback against Portugal and the match might end 3-1 or 3-0.

The lineup for the first half was pretty solid. and it cannot be denied that Portugal will still excel even though CR is not played in the match this time. and the second round of matches has now begun. so let's see if CR will be played or not in the second half?
