But as time goes by, the way Terence Crawford struggles with his previous fight against Shawn Porter, there are signs that he's not already on his usual form different from the time when Crawford vs Spence becomes a hype. Shawn Porter was tagged as the most challenging boxer that Crawford has faced up to this point.

It's on the news but I think Terence Crawford won't bother with Keith Thurman. Crawford is hungry to face Spence and that should happen as soon as possible.

Spence is almost on the move of stepping up a division and he won't probably wait for another Crawford fight. The statement of Spence is clear that after Ugas, Crawford is the next. If Crawford will face Thurman, I doubt Spence will patiently wait for the result. Time is running that's why Spence will follow his desire and won't wait with anybody regardless if that's a champion or not.

Many think that he will lose to Danny Garcia because it's just over a year since the car crash and he comes back to the ring as if nothing happened even he sustained serious injuries. He unanimously won that fight and if you check the judge's scorecard which is 116–112, 116-112, and 117–111, Garcia is not even close to winning.

Later on, after several months of inactivity in the ring, he dominated WBA Super Welterweight Champion Yordenis Ugas and claimed another title.

Is he really coming from a serious accident? I don't what magic he did but with his current status, I think Crawford will experience his first defeat here.

They should ignore other names as those are not close to being qualified. If finally negotiated, this fight might happen in September. The same month of the possible trilogy between GGG and Canelo.

Bob Arum is already old in this sports so maybe he is seeing something that we can't see. But he should pass his torch to the younger generation. If this will fetch high numbers in the market, Arum may easily change his mind. But definitely, I will look forward to watch this match if in case this will happen soon. I will go for Spence here.

Yeah promoters would have locked up this fight from happening.  One because they would be afraid their man would lose which would kill off big money fights in the future for them.  With Crawford on his own he wants to face the best always has so will just wait until they announce this one.  Can't wait.

For sure and it would be big money! I don't think it would affect them too much if any of them lose to someone or something. It's always going to be the risk of having fights right unless the fight is really humiliating that it wasn't what we expected to happen or something. I do hope that they would be able to work this out that they could benefit from each other and that we, the fans would be entertained. Lol.

That's what I would think.  Gonna poke around some boxing forums to see if there is any arbitrary lines on the fight if it takes place.  I would think Crawford would be a -150 or so favorite in this one.  Nothing too crazy but enough to get people to think twice about laying down on it.

As far as I know, Bob Arum is already out of the picture, Crawford didn't sign a contract extension, so he is freely can choose who to fight next after the Porter clash.

The two are now throwing barbs at each other on Twitter, maybe it's a preview on what's going to happen this year, a fight between this 2 fighter.

The odds will be close since both 2 fighter has an outstanding record both in there last matches. They already started the fight on there twitter though which means they are already hyping the fans for there upcoming match. I will bet to the player who has a good odds since this match is a 50/50 chance since they both have the capacity to KO each other with just a solid punch, Crawford is already not on his prime compared before but still he is good enough to give a good fight to spence.

This is still speculation until they sign up a deal if they failed to sign up a contract this year then these two are just fooling us and don't want to ruin their record and they are afraid of each other, what's keeping them, the heavyweight division champions are already fighting each other, Canelo is fighting the best every division has to offer, while these two are still not closing the deal.
This is the only division where both champions are just all talk.

Lots of people are actually waiting for this match. There were delays but I guess the organization will push this through. I also bet on Spence because I've seen how he beat his previous opponents on the ring and he really has aggressive and strong stamina. I'm not underestimating Crawford but I guess it will be a tough match for him.

Well there are a lot of fights to Spence after winning against Ugas. But then again, it seems that his manager is really looking for money fights for Errol.

But for me, the money fight is already in front of them, it should be Terrence Crawford, not going to 154 lbs and fight the champion there. And this fight with Crawford can easily be made because he is no longer under the Top Rank banner. But at the same time though, they shouldn't low ball Crawford. And then blame him after for not accepting the fight.

It's not lock-in, but when both of them won their respective fight, Crawford against Porter and then recently Spence over Ugas, they fight should be made already by both camps. However, both wanted to be the A-side in this fight so we don't know if this can happen in the future or not. But I will give Spence to be the slight favorite.
