I am very pleased with my differentials this week!

I had Toney (C) and Jota (VC) and they came back with 8 (16) and 19 points respectively. Somehow I was the only one here with Jota, and one of only 3 people with Toney (and one of only two who captained him). Jota even outscored Gabriel.

Congratulations on your differential! Differentials are really good on weeks where they outperform the favorites. I have Toney on my watch list but I didn't want to get him until gameweek 25 since they'd have 2 games in that gw. For Jota, he doesn't have a confirmed spot in the Liverpool team and his availability is often affected due to injuries. I might consider him in the future.

No way, when Salah is gone the lineup is Diaz - Nunez - Jota. So he usually gets 70+ minutes. He is also the most clinical finisher on the team - direct opposite of Nunez.


I needed an Estupinan return in order to win the GW, and they did another 0-0. A memorable GW for me. Makes me forget about not having Arsenal players besides Saka.

Yep, Jota is the smart choice from LFC when Salah is out.
He'll play a lot of minutes and be in the centre of all the action.

I wanted to take him, but I'm stopping fires everywhere across my team and have no resources for smart moves, just mandatory ones.

can't say that my GW was bad, and went few positions up
but gap to top spots is rising with each week

even Nunez with two goals barely overcome 10 points, why am I holding to him is a mystery for me, probably not want to lose free transfers to get him out

It’s a time where all I thought I now just cleared before my eyes that, I’ve got no tricks under my sleeves. This might as well be my lowest point for the season, below average, there isn’t a way I would have thought it possible but, it did hit me. So much for dependency and it took AFCON/Asian Cup to bring this to light. Biggest challenge ever, relying on the elite players and having to make the right choices in players I have just averaged.

This might just be the turning point for just anyone. So clueless but, hope to make positive changes to gain in on some of those points in the forth coming GW.

It will be Diogo Jota against the experience of Thiago Silva and Levi Colwill if he starts in the middle, two difficult defenders to beat. Chelsea's Petrović has been very impressive in goal for Chelsea, Liverpool will need extra spark and magic to beat him. Jota has a chance of blanking in their game against Chelsea next.

The Liverpool - Chelsea games seem to always end in either: 1-1 or 0-0. So regardless, I'd say it is 50% good for defenders, 50% bad in the event that they concede.

But attacking assets are probably going to blank.

I am actually a bit scared about it though, because Palmer and Diogo both scored last week (Palmer also scored in the last two gameweeks), so I am quite worried one of them will blank, or even both of them. I guess there's nothing I can do about it though, since Gordon's points are extremely predictable so I have to bench him first as he's almost certain to blank.

I can't say Palmer will play in the premier league the same way he has played in Chelsea's FA cup game against Aston Villa, because he missed many chances for Chelsea, completely flopped in front of goal and I would say the reason Chelsea did not win. Can he do any better against Liverpool? I worry for Palmer, he is in my team.

Why worry for Palmer? He is the best asset in the game when you look at points per million. He is not striker, he should be playing a bit more from the deep but since Chelsea has injury problems he was spearheading the attack.

That makes two of us, I also had Saka as my captain, I think FPL have got to review this their absurd rules of not awarding goals and assists simply because the game week is over, after all the metrics for the game is official EPL statistics, so perhaps they should draw their own metrics that is independent of EPL so then we'll know that we are not totally following the results of the EPL.

Why worry for Palmer?

Yep, makes no sense. We all have him, if he scores 100 points or blanks out it won't make a difference.
Nobody will captain him, I'm fairly sure, so we'll all end up at the same place anyway.

Haaland still isn't fit enough for start, and he's current possible return date is ahead of the midweek fixture against Burnley which he'll like miss in my opinion or be a late cameo since it's a home match for Man City, but regardless he should available fully for next weekend, if the there are no new developments.

If you're wildcarding after this GW then you have nothing to worry about, I'm sure there might be some big names returning to their clubs from both Asia and Africa before the next GW week deadline, so it should be easier to navigate or get necessary replacements.

I made the right move financially by transferring Kevin De Bruyne for 10.3 million. However I don't think that he will be a part of the starting eleven at this weekend. Gabriel's goal was confirmed later which really made me sad as well. Because I had Saka and Gabriel both in my squad.

Seeing that there is a rule like this I don't understand why they removed Solanke's point 1 week later.

Also depends on who else you got as well. Most people SHOULD get Haaland back in their squads ASAP because his EO is so high. Foden is a should-have as well.

However, I can see him becoming almost essential after a few weeks.

In a GW in which we all have a shitload of money (most expensive players are out), not going with KDB looks like a mistake.

I'll surely have him, probably won't take the risk of captaining him though.

But that load of money is needed to buy back Haaland, Salah, Son and TAA. In this mini-league alone about half of the people own Haaland. So not owning him will put you in a grave disadvantage, even if people do not captain him. Same with Salah, and Liverpool seem to be on fire at the moment.
