I have to use my freehit so i decided to spend it since if not it was gonna be wasted into the void, it was a super shit time to use it since i dont saw any real good game to go into full players of that team, i know a lot of people is gonna point out about Manchester against Wolves or Liverpool against Leeds but we cant be 100% sure about how they are gonna behave since both teams are super irregulars this season. Anyways i took some of the United players into my team.

I also went with -8 and I kinda hate myself for it already because I know it might blow back like what all my past month transfers have turned out to be, some of the players I went for might have huge upside but if it doesn't work out, it would be a double loss especially if what would have been my alternative off the bench gets some points.. The only reason why I didn't much is because it could be view as a 4-5 games move with the immediate fixtures also highly considered.

Liverpool have been performing better lately. Wirtz and Ekitike seem to be forming a good partnership, so things might get better for them from here on in. So both Wirtz and Ekitike look like good assets to have right now.

I am not sure i have heard anyone mention Dominic Calvert-Lewin here. But he has been scoring goals nonstop and i don't think he is about to stop anytime soon. Looks like a good asset to have, and the last time i checked, he was not expensive.

Used my triple captain on Haaland and the most I could get out of him was 6 points, didn’t get any goals or an assist. Ekitike would have made a better captain and I knew he was going to get a goal against Wolves but, chose the safe bet on Haaland and his default TC got me. Perhaps I’ll consider using my TC early enough than this shit.

Ok I think I am in the same mix as you right now. I haven’t used my chips just had used the wildcard in GW 10 and now with three other chips remaining I decide to use them all in this game week since it’s expiring after this GW and as I wanted to use all after making use of free transfers the other two chips TC and BB are currently unavailable. Those this means one cannot get to use TC and BB in same week as a FT?

Those 5 AFCON transfers ruined my season. it seems like a lot and then you allow yourself a luxury transfer or 2, then they go wrong and you need more 
That being said I am always more inclined to take hits then majority managers. For me it is always a simple math, if you believe your hit will be worth it during next 5 GW, do it.

It is a learning process. Sometimes you have a player that is not working for your team but the moment you replace him, he plays well and accumulates points. On other occasions the player plays well but you do not apply the correct chips at the right time. Sometimes I think about the sheer number of points I have missed by not changing my team before the deadlines. As mentioned before, it can become frustrating yet is still quite exciting.

I took the easy way out. Free Hit, max'd up Liverpool and United (who the hell is Heaven? I don't care haha), Arsenal and City. If even one of them doesn't win, I will drop further I think, as I'm sure many of you will freehit/FT better than me. Such is the life of FPL idiots.

I agree with you that the performance of Liverpool currently has not only push them in fourth position in the premier League table and if probably Liverpool can be able to maintain the fourth position in the premier League by winning Leeds in the Anfield stadium 🏟️ to still maintain the fourth position because Chelsea is following Liverpool with not much points in the table and if eventually Liverpool lose today match definitely Chelsea will take over the fourth position from Liverpool, so every clubs needs winning today match.

Yeah, it's hard to see the next 5 though - especially in the part of the season where rotation is quite likely.

I currently have another dilemma - who to bench. If I bench Timber, he'll either score or assist. If I bench Richards, he'll play and get a CS + defcon. Anderson has a home game against crippled Everton after doing 20 defcons.
The worst part? I need to bench 2 of them.

Every week I add some great players to my team, and right after that they stop earning points    Either they get injured, don’t make it onto the pitch, or their performance just drops. It honestly feels like total bad luck. I have high hopes for today’s matches, I’m already tired of being stuck around the 20s in the league table.

I was also tempted but i ended up with the ""safe"" Ekitike option, i hope at least one of them made a decent ammount of points because they were the only two players who really have a chance to score a few against weak teams.

Lets see who is the winner of this festive round between two years. The guy who wins this one can say "i win a round on 2025 and 2026".

CLS63 seems does have a habit of selecting a player at the right time. Though it might be too early to state definitively, he certainly has a chance to win by finishing in first place. I keep missing transfer deadlines whereas many do not therefore they are accumulating points and I am falling further behind. It is sill exciting but just as frustrating too.

Let's put it like my luck has also been helping me with that. This time I wanted to gamble by buying Dalot and Cunha after selling Timber and Dewsbury-Hall for -4 points.

I just saw Manchester United's fixture great for a few weeks and wanted to take advantage of it. But we will see about whether it will really be worth it. Cunha is even my captain this week.

Manchester United totally flopped against the most terrible team in the league this season. A draw at Old Trafford is a shame. It was a chance to go above Chelsea on the table; they blew it!

Aston Villa has been humbled; the only bad thing from the game is that Raya conceded at the end. It should have been a four-goal-to-nil kind of game.

I would have been very happy if that Dorgu goal had stand, that’d have paid partial dividends for my -8 points hit, Man United cannot be trusted even when it looks very perfect on paper, win at Newcastle, drop points against Wolves, I won’t be surprised if the trend should continue against Leeds who are at least better than Wolves.
