It may not be easy, but I believe more than two teams among 4 England teams , will qualify for the next champion league stage. Though I'm really confident about Tottenham and Manchester city, I don't think Liverpool will let Real Madrid pull their leg again this time. To me,
Real Madrid is the most dreadful team among all the teams in the round of 16. I rate them even above PSG and Bayern Munich as long as the champion league is consent. If Liverpool can survive real Madrid, they will become the closest team to the Champions League title, just like it was in Tuchel and Chelsea's case last season.

I'm curious about what Inter will do as well. They were pretty nice in the group stage. Most people were expecting to see Barcelona pushing them out of the Champions League but the opposite happened. It was quite unexpected for me as well to tell the truth. They got four points in total from Barcelona which was a really good effort. Now they are going to face Porto in last 16 stage. On paper, Inter are the favourite team to advance of course. However bookmakers don't see them as a big favourite either - Inter to advance has a 1.76 odd while it is 1.96 for Porto.

But I believe in Inter to do this. I really appreciate their attacking performance this season. Maybe they have had defensive issues so far in general however they have mostly been very good at scoring. Porto are another productive team maybe but Inter should be able to eliminate them anyway by a small margin.

Their conditions, which were initially not too favorite in the group phase, became different when they performed well and were in 2nd place.
At the moment, even though Porto is still a pretty good team, there is a big chance, of course, for Inter, especially with their performance in the Champions League which is quite good.
Now there is still time to think about the Champions League. At the moment they have to focus on maintaining consistency in Serie A because if they do that it will be good at least there is a strong mentality for the Champions League.

This is very interesting when talking about 2 clubs which is in the middle stand, Chelsea and Dortmund are clubs that are not going well on the local league, they have underperformance after losing a potential player and management. But what makes me interested is Moukoko, a Dortmund player who has an interest by Chelsea Officla. If this happens this winter, possible this guy will change jerseys to Chelsea and will face his ex-club in the champions league next.

UEFA new rules allowing one player to play for two different clubs could be used by Chelsea to transport Moukoko from Dortmund and play him against his former club.

In my opinion I think this new rule should have been in place and effective a long time ago. If a club sells out a player he should have the right to play against his former club, he wears a different jersey and should be able to fulfill the reason why he brought in the club. This chaos results in uncertainty in their clubs and their players had uncertainty about their future which affected their minds and performances too. Now it looks like things are not too bad for Chelsea and their players. It would be time for their players to actually fight for big aims in this season. Top four in Premier League is important and must be achieved. If they fail with this mission, many players will be sold in the summer transfer.

Champions League is so competitive but Chelsea can fight and in the past, they suddenly won two Champions League. They can repeat it even in this chaotic season.

I can't use the match against bournemouth as measurement. Chelsea has not yet back to the best performance. I meant we shall see the result between chelsea against manchester city. The match wiil be coming in january.
There will be two matches in EPL and FA cup. We will get two match as judgement for performance of chelsea after world cup. I hope that there will be significant increase like chelsea will able to beat city two times.

Looking behind which teams both clubs are in the domestic leagues, Chelsea have a much more solid list of names than Dortmund. Will Marco Reus be ready for the match with Chelsea? In general, Chelsea are better in quality and they have more players at word class level than Dortmund. Players in Dortmund are either too young like Moukoko or old already like Hummels, Reus. Jude Bellingham had a good World Cup 2022 but he is young and can not carry Dortmund in all matches. When it comes to Europe top teams and club you cannot rate Dortmund over Chelsea. Even if they seem balanced right that game will still see Chelsea winning that game. Jude Bellingham has been linked away while Kudus if Ghana has been linked to replace him at Borrussia Dortmund. Moukoko hasn't been signed by Dortmund yet? Man United are linked to David Jonathan lately that's the updated news.
He is a good player, Recce James should be back, I don't know what is lacking and wrong with Chelsea medical team,  why didn't they nurse his Injury very well.

IMO, I see that Potter is still doing experiments for the right formation and strategy for his squad. Graham Potter's team haven't shown their best performance yet, that's why Potter is still doing some experiments for the most appropriate formation. and as we all know, that the second half of the season has just begun. Potter still has plenty of time to prepare his squad for the round of 16 match later, while also waiting for several of his players to recover from their injuries.

As for Dortmund, Edin Terzic's troops are having a bad season in their domestic league competition and are not much different from the current state of Chelsea. even reportedly, some of their star players will leave at the end of this season. for sure, we cannot compare or predict this match later. because anything can still happen, Dortmund also still has the opportunity to improve their performance. the round of 16 match will still have a long time lag, which is certain that these two teams will prepare their troops for the match later.
