I think it would be really unfair to say that Mbappe will never match Messi's achievements so far. Because Mbappe is still a very young superstar now. He has long years ahead of him to achieve many titles. I don't mean the Ligue 1 titles of course. Because they are already too easy for PSG to win as they are the strongest team in the league by far. His next team would be Real Madrid where he can be much more successful.

I don't think anyone is saying that Kylian Mbappe will never match the achievements of Messi. But to achieve the success achieved by Messi will be very difficult for him to do. He is very capable of matching Messi's achievements or even exceeding what Messi has achieved to this day, he is still very young, but he must get out of his comfort zone as soon as possible to further hone the abilities he has, he must also increase his flying hours and go to more competitive league. Leipzig are not a tough opponent for Manchester City. A relatively weak team is Leipzig. But there is no way to ignore this team. Smaller teams often win against bigger teams in the Champions League. It isn't always about having a strong squad as that without experience is nothing. Sometimes you know that a team that struggle either in domestic league or even since the champions league group stage are the one who winning it .. look at barcelona 2014-2015 journey into champions league winner .. tey are in a tough group and struggling .. look at inter milan 2009-2010 journey and chelsea in 2020-2021.
