I am pretty sure none of us would have wanted this sort of game in the RO16 stage, i mean this was last seasons CL final, we would have been happier if this game came in the later stages of the competition, but i guess it is what it is, it is just like the PSG v Bayern Munich game, these are big matches worthy of being a CL final, but we are going to experience them quite early in the competition.

Having said that, i don't think there's any chance in hell that the game is going to be boring or that fans will be disappointed with what they'd see, i am expecting a very open and entertaining game, the both sides are usually always interesting to watch, thus i am not expecting anything different in this game. Well i expect Real Madrid to come out victorious like they did in last seasons CL final.

On the one hand, you are right, and as a Real Madrid fan, I am not happy that Real Madrid again gets a difficult path. But on the other hand, if you look from the point of view of an unbiased fan, everyone is waiting for just such games. The match between Chelsea and Dortmund is a case of a sub top match. 2 teams that are just below the real top. Although Chelsea are closer, as they also won the CL a few years ago. For CL successes from Dortmund we have to go back longer, then they were really at the absolute top in Europe together with teams like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona. We don't see much of that team and type of football anymore. Jurgen Klopp then turned Dortmund into a fantastic team. I don't think Real Madrid will continue to dominate the Champions League this season like last season. Last season Madrid was able to perform consistently well thanks to Benzema's excellent performances. But Benzema is not in good form this season. And so I don't think Madrid will be able to continue to perform consistently well. I think Manchester City or PSG will be championing this season.

Nunez has become a failed striker for liverpool. There have been bunch of memes created by liverpudlians for him caused by he was always missing the golden opportunity to make the goal. gakpo has become a new bet for liverpool. It seems that until now indeed he failed to meet the target as a replacement for Mane. Napoli's current condition is still quite good but when their momentum is broken especially for the first 3 games in Serie A it's not too good but when they are still able to make this into consistency then I'm pretty confident they can get past Frankfurt in the knock out later.

When Reece James is injuried, Chelsea performance drops and we can see this in the games before the world cup break.

Reece James is arguably Chelsea best player this season, Mason mount has been average and this has contributed to our poor form recently. I think this game is the most  unpredictable match since the win can go both ways. I'm a Chelsea fans and I'll favour my club over another even when the odds are against us. I think Chelsea wins this and if Reece James was to be available for this game then we destroy them both home and away and mightn't even concede in both games.

Those are the game his absence will be felt because we could ave easily won the last game and win the upcoming game against Nottingham Forest F.C without games.

The only wish we have now is for the injury not to result to surgery as that'll means Reece James will miss the whole season and that includes the game against Dortmund in the champions league. If there won't be any surgery and he returns in one month time as speculated then by February 15th when Chelsea plays Dortmund, Reece James should be ready and fit to play that match which will give us some boosts.

Even right now we have more than six weeks in this match but things looking impressive and having favorable for the Chelsea because they are improving their quality and performance as well which is going to help them for having better result against Borussia Dortmund which is badly down before break and now looking for few changes into their team in coming transfer window with Chelsea is also already in for the few changes which will surely improve things for them specially Moukoko arrival is big advantage for them with they are already having few good players.
