Of course this is a good opportunity for Liverpool to avenge their moment of defeat in the Champions League Final last season, but Liverpool's performance is not good this season and is a concern especially for Liverpool fans. Real Madrid can still probably have the cup this time around because I haven't yet seen any backslide in their performance instead they still maintain their good performance.  As for Liverpool am not very sure if they can achieve better this season,  their performance was much more better than what they showcase this season. To be honest Liverpool the performance of Liverpool this season has not been really impressive compare to how they were in the last season.

This is the most important match of the knockout round. Here two teams are playing for the title both Bayern Munich and PSG. And both have strong squads. So it cannot be predicted which team will win this match and qualify for the next round. Both groups have the same mindset. But if Messi and Neymar and Ramos are able to play well then I want to put PSG team ahead.

It looks like they are going to definitely continue to dominate for a long time unless something changes. They have already built a younger squad and getting help from them, sure the older ones like kroos, modric, benzema still make huge plays but the younger ones are following soon as well. Which means that it shouldn't be really that much of a shock if they somehow manage to make it work one way or another and win both UCL and La liga again.

For this season, it seems that it will be difficult for Real Madrid if the three veteran players have to miss out with various scenarios of not being able to play, whether it's injury, card accumulation, or whatever makes the three players unable to appear. I'm not sure, Madrid will not be able to qualify for the next phase, without the presence of these three players. however, this is just a scenario.

So far, with Benzema injured. El Real seemed to have lost the sharpness they had, in the end Dor Carlo experimented with making Rodrygo a center forward. the result is quite satisfactory even though it is not as sharp as Benzema. I know that sounds like something difficult to do 2 years in a row, but they did it before and I am sure they will try to do it again. This year it is a bit harder because PSG and City looks a lot better, but we will have to wait and see.

we know, that Madrid has a winning mentality and is again able to get out of pessimism that was initially not too superior. they will always be a team that their opponents fear later, including Liverpool who will meet in the round of 16 later. however, as we agreed. this season seems to be tough for Madrid to get the champions league title, PSG, City and even Bayern look much better in terms of the pattern of the game. yes, so have to just wait it out and see what scenario will happen.

Bayern Munich has always been the dominate team in this fixture and I won't be surprised if they also dominate the game and knock Messi's PSG out of the tournament. I just browse about this clubs head to head and in the last 5 meetings between this clubs, Bayern Munich has won four times with PSG recent win just came last year when they won 3-2 (1st leg) at Bayern's home. Both clubs are on good form and has won their last 5 matches in their domestic leagues so we should be expecting a good fight when they play next year. Just hope by then both clubs are still at the level of form they're currently on.

Looking at the star players from both team, it seems they'll all be active for their national side at the world cup. PSG is more at risk though as their front three could play more games as their respective nations are more favorite to win the tournament. I'm speaking about Neymar's Brazil, Messi's Argentina and Mbappe's France.

Yes, I also feel that Madrid will most likely win this match. Ancelotti has experience in facing EPL teams in crucial UCL matches, this will be a good provision for Madrid. Then, Madrid can take advantage of Liverpool's inconsistency to cut their way in UCL this season's.

And, for sure when Bayern can beat them in 16 round without have problem, they will one of champion candidate other than Madrid and Man City.

I tried to rule out Liverpool even though the Champions League potential was open to Klopp men. If PSG took first place, then we would see a pair of Bayern - Benfica and everyone would react to this as "Benfica was good, but now it's over." Munich is one of the strong candidates for the trophy hunt this season. but I will probably support Man City more for this season. they have played more consistently this season. although we all know the teams that qualify for the top 16 are strong teams. of course, any favorite team could have slipped with the dark horse team this season.

This shows that Bayern is quite good, this is one of the two teams that ever won 6 cups in a single season along with Barcelona, so Bayern is not to be toyed with, they are still amazing, they lost Lewandowski which is of course a big hit, but they also got Mane so they are doing fine. PSG is good, they are better than good, they are great but they may end up with losing just like last year if they are not careful.
