That's one of the call up I'm not quite cool with, like he has literally never played a game this season, why the call up when you can appoint or bring in other younger players? His decisions are baised as usual I've always known him fkr that,injope hebwin otherwise he'll be sacked.

The attacking call up for England is perfect, I'm not just okay with Jack Grealish because he has done nothing this season to earn that place in the squad heading for the Euro's.

Talking about Spain their journey at the qualification stages is quite impressive because from 8 matches Spain can gets 7 wins with collect 21 points and these results too makes them can finish at first place on group table which automatically they can advances to the group stage of Euro 2024 and for the current tournament Spain as 4th favourite in this tournament behind England, France and Germany and for group stages Spain was into group B with Italy, Albania and Croatia indeed on the paper Italy probably the strongest opponent for Spain in that group but do not underestimate Croatia because they have potention to makes Spain gets in trouble

Spain squad for the current tournament is very interesting because at their squad there were several names such as Pau Cubarsí, Pedri, Fermín López and the latest is Lamine Yamal which we all know their status as young players besides that all of them is Barcelona players which mean Barcelona has important contribution for Spain squad for young players

I am sure this is their first major tournament with Spain and so far they can able to performing well with Barcelona and looking forward to see their performance in this tournament with Spain later but i am sure most people will paying their attention to Lamine Yamal because with his current age Lamine Yamal can being an important player for Barcelona and he also can joined Spain senior team which this is a fantastic achievement considering he is only 17 years old

Yes Shaw has been out majorly for a long term but he hasn’t picked the player yet and even if he does I will say he has maybe assess him very well. We can use the long term absence to say he shouldn’t be there but there is no left back better than him in the league. When Chilwell played poorly In the last friendlies I was show Southgate Will begging to have Shaw back and right now he is looking at the possibility. If not he has the young mitchel in the squad too or better still uses Tripper there as a wing back in a back three formation.

Southgate made some bad player callings for England squad because players with long injured time like Luke Shaw will usuallly struggle to come back. Tournament like Euro or World Cup is very short, within one month, that is not enough for any player to warm up and get familiar with different in intensity of training and actual matches.

Ignoring other players who play many matches, have good forms to choose Luke Shaw, Southgate makes a high risky choice.

Sancho and Rashford don't have good performances in this season and with Sancho, some latest good matches for Dortmund in Champions League are not enough to convince Southgate and it is explainable.

Don't choose Sancho but choose Grealish, it's strange because it's nearly impossible to assess Grealish did better than Sancho in this season. Southgate tends to choose players with effect from his prejudice, not base on player performances.

To be fair many of the managers have the same issue. Because these cups are rare in between, you end up seeing very few players play for it, and when one of the players who deserve it misses the cup on the season they deserve it, maybe they will not have such a good season again and not deserve it and miss it completely.

I remember, a player like Benzema literally quite just because of manager problems, which is understandable if you are treated terribly, players could just decline too, just like how managers may not call up players. I understand national pride takes control of some people, but if you do not want to, you could avoid it. Managers have the last say, and because of that any mistake a manager does, costs a team 4 years until the next one.

Having line up decision making is tough when it comes to last places, like if it was just 15 players then we know which 15 that England will mainly play with, but when it comes to 25th guy, things change a bit and that should not be all that easy at all, we need to realize that we are going to get something quite difficult in the end. I believe that we are going to end up with something that will benefit everyone, if the lineups were more like 30, that extra five would definitely help out a lot.

I am sure there will still be some talks on some players not being called up, but it would be less because with 30 you are getting five more, so you need to be really not deserving or hated by the manager to not get in that list at all.

For this season Rashford's performance is not that special so it is quite natural that Southgate is looking for other options for players who are in the same position and choosing Grealish, Foden and Gordon who have the same position as Rashford at this time is a pretty good decision made by Southgate.

Foden has been absolutely outstanding this season and he deserves to be in his current position in the England national team. In addition, the English squad is indeed very complex and the players are quite evenly distributed, it's just that I'm quite hesitant about some of Southgate's decisions which sometimes hurt a little. Although previously in the qualifiers they played very well but we can see about some changes in the scheme that actually can still be further improved from Southgate so indeed for now if England can't talk much at the euro this time with the excellence of a very good squad like now it will obviously disturb my mind a little because it will be very embarrassing.

Bookies are seeing top 3 favourites like:

• France => 5.00
• Germany => 6.50

I would expect France to be favoured the most normally so I'm surprised. Maybe reaching Euro 2020 final also has some effect on those odds for England.    But France are a much more disciplined team you know. Player quality is also amazing, starting with Mbappe. But France haven't been able to win a trophy here since Euro 2000. Maybe this is a chance to end this.

It looks like Germany are benefiting from being the hosts.    They have skilled players but for the trophy? I'm not trusting them as much as England - France duo.

Harry Maguire has got no oac which is a big disadvantage to himself as a player and also to the backline and the squad but Gareth Southgate is so stiff-neck, he'd rather use pacy players to close down the loopholes of Harry Maguire rather than see them having a good attacking game. I've seen it countless times, it disturbed Recce James as he was not allowed to attack but remain close to Harry Maguire which affected his game personally.

Football has evolved and players like Harry Maguire with no pace cannot thrive. So much hype about them ( England ) another thing Southgate would do that'll affect him is to place Alexander Arnold in midfied over Kobbie Mainoo. His level of bias and sentiment will not let him make rational decisions.

Luke Shaw shouldn't have been called up. He didn't play nothing to earn it. Newcastle defender and left back Hall would've even been in a good position.

There are actually many things that make me curious about Euro 2024. One of them is that I am also curious about T. Kroos' final career, who will play for the last time with his national team before retiring from the world of football. He will fight with the German national team. In other teams I also think that Portugal also has some players who will probably play for the last time at the Euros. Exactly, I don't buy into this hype and bs of England- England when we even have important cliba to look out for. France I'm not so sure, how about them creativity? That would be lacking they just have Griezmann maybe the presence of Paul Pogba wouldn't have been bad too. They have midfielder's with them but what about the creativity?

I'd even say Germany. They're my favorites for this Competition.  Even though I will not underestimate a club that has Cristiano Ronaldo. He should be very motivated after several occasions of lose this season with Al Nassr.

Germany looks cool, England has got Gareth Southgate, who I don't consider a top quality coach, and biased with his decisons. Spain has a good squad but they don't have no point man to score in these goals.

It's these 4 teams that are the favourites for me before you talk about teams like the Netherlands, Italy, Croatia,  Belgium, and Portugal. Portugal should be rated higher but their performances against tough opponents are not encouraging. They have the squad, but I just don't see them as a winning team, they have a higher chance of winner than the Netherlands, Croatia and Belgium.

Spain is the least among the top 4 I mentioned. They have an inexperienced squad even tho they're good and they lack killer instinct. They also lack a world-class scorer up front.
France and Germany are the top two among them. These are balanced teams that have so much experience and are very technical with so many qualities. England should be on their level but I don't know if I'll call it inconsistency, they just seem to fumble when it matters the most.
