What an incredible performance from Germany against Scotland, they seized everything away from Scotland to really make them believe that can be toe with, currently now they are playing 5-1 which ANTONIO RUDIGER AGAINST HIS OWN SIDE!, with this poor performance Scotland didn't deserve a single goal but it just unfortunate. I think the last 5 Euro start games have been won by the opening team and this might be that game where a draw might emerge out of nowhere and I've been having this feeling for quite a while and by all means , Scotland does have a strong team who could create problems and score goals. Currently watching this game right now and am not seeing such a strong team from the Scottish side as you had praised them to be,  Germany is leading by 4 goals to nothing against Scotland. Making it this early in the June is awesome, because last time we had a big cup, it was world cup and it was in November/December, that was horrible. Before the first game of the 2024 UEFA Euros Championship tonight between host nation Germany and Scotland kicked off, I had initially predicted that the Germans are going to come out victorious but little did I know they'll dominate the game to the extent they did. Scotland were second best in every contention they had tonight against Germany and right from the very first minute till the last minute of the game, the hosts played with so much determination.
It's a very good start for Germany who I think are very prepared for the tournament as they try to make up for their shortcomings in recent major tournaments they've participated in. Statistically, this will be an easy victory, so it is not surprising that the bookmakers in the pre-match gave odds of 1.2 for Germany in this match because the difference in quality and player situation is also indeed far different between Germany and Scotland.

Regards Germany was already 2 goals ahead before R. Porteous the Scottish player was shown a red card, truly the red card affected the performance of the Scotland team but even though they weren't one man down, Germany would still come out victorious but maybe the goal margin wouldn't have gotten to this much 5. Being the host country is also an additional advantage as you noticed already because playing in front of your country men and fans all over the stadium will greatly increase the team motivation and it will boost the morale of the Germany players to show more good performance and a typical example is the opening game today where Scotland managed to get a goal as a result of an own goal from the Real Madrid Super star A. Seriously people have underestimated this German team a lot and I don’t see why they are even rated lower interms of quality to win it most especially with the likes of England ahead of them. The German national team might have been shit this past few tournaments but this current squad seems the most complete to me. The likes of Sane and even Sergei Gnabry who would start for most countries in the tournament are even just good for the bench which shows a very strong squad at the moment. Coupled with the advantage of playing at home they will try to go all the way
