In the second match of Group C, all the teams got draws. So, England is still leading the table with 4 points. England never got a lose, they only got a draw in the match against Denmark. But I'm confident with England because they will play against Slovenia in the next match. Slovenia seems weaker than Denmark, we can expect England to win and get full points (3 points). I think England is quite safe to finish the group stage as the winner in Group C. Apart from Denmark, there are no other strong teams in this group. It will be very shameful if England failed to be the winner in Group C.

Despite losing today to Spain, Italy is still in the green as long as they don't fumbled their next match and drop more points. If Italy wins next game, it would be game over for Croatia and Albania. If England fails to reach the final of this summer's UEFA Euros Championship, it's not because they do not have the quality of players to achieve that but because the national team coach of the England team have failed to maximize the strength of his squad. Ij the just concluded season, Cole Palmer had the highest number of goal contributions in the English Premier League (which is total goals and assists recorded) but in the last two group games that England have played, Gareth Southgate never saw any reason to introduce the Chelsea player in the games. After the game the England coach tried to put the blame on the absence of Kelvin Phillips from the team as the major reason of their struggles.
Declan Rice is a good defensive midfielder who I think can perfectly play in that position then play Jude Bellingham in the no. 8 role and put Cole Palmer in the no.10 role and see how prolific the England team will be. The only exception will be if Serbia should win they have to do that with more than a two goal difference as a single goal difference will mean they won’t automatically qualify even if England losses.
