Aren't parlays really not allowed?

I would be more comfortable with a parlay of two or even three "safe" legs in the first round, but rules are rules. It's the first winter World Cup and the first World Cup near the desert, I feel we may have some surprises.

I haven't read a post saying parlays aren't allowed. So most probably you'd be fine as long as you're minimum odds at 1.50 and above with a minimum bet of 0.5 mbtc.

I also wonder if, for example, my bet is a game in the second round, would it qualify as a valid bet here in the first round? What if I bet an outright on Argentina, is it okay? Sorry, if my question might have been answered already before but I haven't found an answer to this so far including rules at op. 

By the way, I already submitted mine yesterday. Hopefully, I am not that far from my group mates. They seem good.

conditions is to have one match from first WC round, with a minimal odds above @1.5, you can have it as one on your parlay, or add as many as you want to that, but this one has to be there (as understood, for each round, rule is the same, one match from that round, odds above @1.5)

there are some picks around 1.5 for anyone to pick, except for Denmark, they are a bit below that (not that I am sure Denmark will win), and you can play on goals on any match (those are usually above 1.5)

what about first match, goalless draw?

Why you think parlays not allowed. Single bet parlay or betbuilder they all bet, and bet is bet. As long as its first round of WC we should good to go. Good luck everybody. Dont overthink about rules. Try enjoy the game

Shit sorry everyone! I should have read the rules more properly, I actually did but it never made it to my mind that it meant each single match must be over 1.5x but that's easy to do luckily with so many close games

I want to ask something related to the odds requirement, what if the initial odds of my bet were under 1.50 but after the price boost it shoots up to 1.52 does that still count or not?

Nope. Same rules as all Sportsbet promotions. You need that clean 1.50 odds without any boosters applied.

Getting a bit tired of answering qualifying bet questions, is it really that hard to comprehend or problematic to place a bet under 10$ on odds over 1.5?
1. You have to have 1 game from current match day with odds over 1.5, BB allowed
2. Total stake at least 0.5mBTC, or equivalent in other currencies
3. I have allowed outright for this first round, later on make sure it from current round of matches
4. Parlays are allowed but one game inside parlay has to cover those above rules. We don't care about other games in parlay.

Hell this competition is for people that actively bet on Sportsbet if it is such a problem to share a ticket which you should already have anyway....I can share 5+ tickets with matches from every day, you need to do 1 for entire match day. Why complicating it that much?

buwaytress also threaded the line a bit, with sending his outright bet as qualification bet but since his choice was such that it was basically a donation to Sportsbet I have let it slide  Not gonna name his choice, but let's just point out he got the odds close to 300.

Joking aside this rule is here so that all participants have to use Sportsbet page and I know for a fact that buwaytress has at least a couple of qualifying tickets at any moment.

Thanks for confirming I entered the quiz, still not sure why I got the "warning" message about confirming as I don't recall seeing that before submitting on the test form.

And about the qualifying bet, sorry man, haha. Promise I'll send very simple bets from now on so you guys have fewer headaches. Right, so just a handful of us went for a host win, what were we thinking about, haha. Valencia should have had a hattrick too. Not the entertainment of Russia's opening game, but many of you guys happy with the win, well done Ecuador!

Anyway, just sharing a silly bet here for Gav (from Clubtalk TV) to visit Qatar during the World Cup. Think it's live for the next 24 hours in the Sports Special tab (time shows 10pm 21 Nov my time which is in 27 hours).

So, 31 out of the 32 participants filled in the form correctly for the 1st round. The only one that did not is Gabbiechamp, who will be replaced by entebah.

Although Lolojones was the first reserve on the list at the time we filled in the 32 spots, entebah did enter the competition on time for the reserve slots and he does fulfill all the forum criteria - which Lolojones does not.
With that said - we are closing the competition now and there is no more opportunities to enter.

I updated the spreadsheets and the draw - and we'll enter the points after the 1st round is complete.

I was close to having most of you lose a point at the start, I felt that the 'Qatar to concede over 2,5 goals' was a way trickier question than your replies said. Only 1 out of 35 answers thought they will concede 3+.

I made the same bet, but with odds of 2.54. I used a boost but the odds difference is too big for the boost to be the cause. Perhaps you made a bet right before the game when the mood of the crowd (and cash flow) shifted the line?
Ecuador got on my nerves as I didn't think they would reach the target score (2-0) so quickly and for the rest of the time I would wish there weren't any extra goals.

What?, i think like you cryptofrka, i hope i can be one of the few to put Ecuador making less than 3 goals, and i know why i put that selection  and its because i know the manager of Ecuador so well from Argentinian football, but the rest of the people, why dont put more goals?

That under 2.5 on Qatar was too close for comfort I already thought it was guaranteed to go over after Ecuador snagged 2 goals within 30 minutes but luckily no goals for the remaining 60 minutes. Looking forward to the Iran question next and I wonder how many will get their second point as the picks are more varied this time.

when I saw question, I had to read it twice, thought it was under2.5 for whole match (that would make more sense, but answer would be the same in the end)
TBH, not sure why, but expected more from Qatar squad, not that they have some quality, but Ecuador is far from strong squad as well

with all said, Qatar conceived three goals, but one was disallowed to make the match more interesting, since it was just a beginning, but Ecuador was fast to score another

Those that choose Benzema will get automatic zero points. We are not bookies and we can even post trick questions, we probably will not, but for instance we could have included Pogba in that list. It is your problem if you don't know he will not play.

But just for fun, even bookies wouldn't refund that bet. They would for market Benzema to score but not for market who scores first in the game.
