BTW I got the PM from hilarious about the pool as well as the bracket, so I will look at all these options and make my winning predictions before the games begin!

I also got the message and the bracket and already put it all what I think will be in the FIFA extra mini prize.The boring thing about that thing is that once you predict the group stages and only a few games remain you have no choice of recovering and that is why Superbru excels,it gives you opportunities much further than FIFA predictor does and that is why the main event will be with Superbru to give us all an equal chance,even to those who do not start the event in the best possible way.

To be fair it's almost the same thing with Superbru pool prediction, when there are very few games left, there are times we already know who the winners are, just not sure of exactly who gets 1/2/3 and so on. Sort of like you already know who is going on the podium, but not sure the color of their medal

small number of matches, small number of total points, and all knock-out matches mattered, here in World Cup will be similar

in Champions league is different because you have two-match system in groups, and a lot more matches during group stage

In F1 we were so few participants and of course it was much more difficult than the EPL,but I think in the EPL there is still a lot of time to improve,we are more than 60 persons there and thus just a couple of rounds can bring you up considerably if all others do not bode well in those rounds.

The World Cup is going to be a great event and the good thing is that this is a very short tournament compared to F1 and EPL so it is worth fighting for,for those great prizes that are on grab here for the winners.

You have an amazing memory, I actually can remember that, Egypt going to final but actually couldn't really score, IIRC Senegal also went every game almost the same score 1:0? My pick was Egypt actually and I at least got the freebets from all the outrights. So I'm hoping to capture that same magic with the outright promo again

I still remember Afcon as it is the only pool I've won so far. I had good memories there. Frankly, even though I'm showing a better performance compared to the previous years my only goal for the World Cup is to be able to qualify from the groups. It seems very difficult for me to do more than that when we look at the valuable forum members. Before the draw I'm feeling myself like Club Brugge in this picture.

Well we tried to emulate FIFA to the maximum so seed positions were for sale to the highest bidders. We only contacted the very richest among all of you of since seed positions don't come cheap

Kidding aside we gave seed positions to well known members that are playing Sportsbet sponsored pools every year. More or less on first come first serve basis, maybe one would have been yours if joined earlier

The competition is primarily for active forum users, but in coordination with Sportsbet we will fill the remaining spots with users that are active in clubtalk.
Remaining spots will be given on a first come first served basis, meaning that the players that applied before you have priority.

If a registered forum user applies in the next few days, he is automatically in and goes on the list before jocoser, pushing you further down.

We will let you participate in the 1st round and yes, if someone fails to provide their betslip he will be disqualified and next one on the list will take his place - and his points for that round will be calculated.

Welcome to the forum! Glad you decided to come in and check it out, love seeing your bets on Clubtalk, so I know you'd fit right into this forum (it's not at all weird many crypto people seem to be into gaming too). Hope cryptofrka explained it well to you about chances of participation. My advice? Stick around on the forum, keep active, join pools next season (also plenty of SB promos here).

Are you sure you got the right guy, cause I don't remember that at all haha. Definitely spent my first year or so on forum really looking for newbies like myself. Found the fastest way to learn was to help fix Bitcoin problems (especially wallets in those days when there weren't really good apps). Also, I got my first Bitcoin for free too, from a random guy who wanted to show me how txs worked on Electrum. I remember how generous people were to spread the word, just passed it on. Hope you've found the opportunity to do the same =)

Yeah I know you don't remember, we talked about it a few years ago and you already forgot, it was from a freelancer platform, and then also in Bitvest chat long ago, you were also doing Pizza day promos around that time if I can remember correctly.

We plan to close applications by the end of this week and than work on the draws and questions for the 1st round.

It wasn't specifically worded here so let me be more precise. Applications for this competition will be officially closed on Sunday 11:59 AM. Basically we are accepting new applicants for one more full day. After that I will make group draw and my colleague will post it in the thread.

Then we will have a small test round on Monday. That is not obligatory but I am sure most of you are eager to see how it will work. We will just put up few test questions and test all the stuff.

Real thing will begin on 18th or 19th this month with first round of questions. Really pissed I can't be part of this competition since it looks damn fine

Let me guess, we have a Messi fan in the house ::)but unfortunately Mexico doesn't have the fire power to beat the competition which writes them off and theoretically Argentina does stand a good chance of getting to the finals & I have them in my last 4 teams to get into the semi's. But a final is likely to consist of any of these 4: Argentina, Senegal, Brazil and Germany.

I believe we answered all those questions in detail. Least you can do is read trough the rules and few posts after OP. Complete rules are in the games and rounds thread. But here it goes once again:

1. I will draw players using one of random draw generators online. Was considering even streaming or making a video but decided against it since video can be edited and doesn't really prove anything. Draw will be made all the way to the finals so group stage isn't that important.
2. Questions will not be time dependent other than you have to answer them before first game starts. Why would they be? They are all about future games, it isn't like the more time will help you much. You can google some stats, but if that was that was we would all be millionaires and there wouldn't be betting sites.
3. 0.5 mBTC bet has to include at least one selection from that match day on world cup with odds of at least 1.5, other then that it is your choice how many other games you add, if any

I can guarantee you if that pass immediately here in Argentina the people its going to burn the Tata Martino family house.

And im 100% sure if that final happen Martino itself want to lose that one.

I explain myself, Martino is from Newells old boys the same with Messi and the same with Scaloni (actual manager of Argentina) all are from my city and i know how its the life here.

Plus also Di Maria its from here but he is from Rosario Central all they families are closely friends here, plus Lo Celso and Correa also from Rosario and fans of Rosario Central.I know this last two finally cant go to the WC, one for an injury and the other was down for convocatory, but still being part of the group.
