The questions and options are adequate for group stage games; however, I would like to see more questions about goal scorers, goals, most corners, and MOTM awards; the questions should be more difficult, with fewer questions from the R16. Just my $0.02

@igehhh suggestions make sense too, and in addition going forward, I'd suggest questions like that of Argentina but they're a lot of options 4 or 5 choices to select from, and for the Goal scorers, combinations would make sense too, like will either of two the following players score ago or an assist, then options like Messi will score and provide an assist, then options like just Goal only, Assist Only, or Both and Neither, I'm sure questions like this will likely divide the answers, then you can also use possession range will a team have, could be an underdog or favourite, the with options like Argentina will have 40-44, 45-49, 55-60, more than 60, less than 40 and finally like how long will Paredes play for, then options like; Paredes not to play, less than 20 minutes, between 20-40, between 41-56, 57-74, 75 or more but not full time, and full time.

On the one hand, more complex questions are interesting, but it seems to me that we should not complicate them, because then we will get a pure lottery where our analytics will be useless at all. From the entire competition, only drawing a ticket for good luck will remain. Simple questions are bad for competition because many have the same answers, but since there are many simple questions they give the necessary spread, don't they?

Did you watch the game between Morocco and Belgium? Morocco fought very well and they deserved to win. Eve though my bet was on Belgium to win, I'm glad that Morocco won because they played really good.

As for the Croatia vs. Canada, I really hope that Croatia wins. If we qualify for the next round, I really hope we can manage to qualify as the first in the group because my guess is that Spain will win their group and I don't like to see Croatia play against Spain again because they kicked us out of the EURO 2020

Belgium played the match against Morocco just like they played the match against Canada - like shit. In the first 20 minutes of the match Croatia - Canada I thought that we will play like we played against Morocco. Fortunately the players woke up and played a good game. If Belgium will play the last match against Croatia like they played the first two matches, Croatia should have no problem winning that game.

Too bad that Japan couldn't beat Costa Rica today. Since Croatia, if they qualify for the knockout round, will play against someone from that group, it would be easier to play against Japan than against Spain or Germany. Let's see how the last match today finishes. If Germany wins, all four teams will have three points after second round.

Morocco was excellent against Croatia and I knew they will score against Belgium. Too bad I thought Belgium is also good for at least one goal and played both to score. Even before WC started I expected Belgium to be quite poor and nominated them as the probable disappointment of the group stage. So far they played just as I expected them, hope they will not find a second wind against Croatia. My bracket challenge before WC had Croatia on 1st and Belgium on 2nd spot but after seeing these teams play Morocco deserves that knockout position more.

We're reading all the comments and will try to modify the questions a bit going forward. However, we can't change much now and make them easier or harder because we're still in the group and points add up.
If we made it harder now, it would not be fair to people that did badly in the 1st round and vice versa. We will make them harder in the knockouts though.

We also don't want it to be luck-based. Some things will always be, of course - but we are trying to remove the luck element as much as we can.
Some things we have to avoid because for example - some questions are impossible to make before knowing the results so we excluded groups G and H from this round.

Finally, we want to give you some backstory and form some questions around important events - like Lewa scoring his first WC goal in round 2 and Giroud potentially surpassing Henry as France's leading goalscorer in round 3.

Basically - we want you to have between 4-7 correct answers per round (at least in the group) and that's what we have been getting so far. But - as we said - it's the first time something like this has been attempted and we're still figuring what works and what does not.


With all that being said, here's the form with the questions for round 3.


The first 2 games are on Tuesday at 16:00 European time so submit your answers before then.

Users @notblox1 and @jocoser are still missing from the round 2 spreadsheet. One of them did not send the betslip ID through PM and the other one did not participate at all. The one that played - please share your betslip ID with me through PM.

Thanks for your understanding and good luck in qualifying for the knockouts! We did these after a 10 hour trip from Montenegro so we hope you'll like them.

Hey everyone, unfortunately I haven't been able to be active or watch games much even forum time could not post, but I came back just to post this quickly and take screenshot and send for next quiz.

In the last quiz i hate one question, and was the one related to the Brasil formation, after i submited the response, the Brasil Federation says Neymar its not gonna play the last two games of the round for being injury, and im like.. "come on...."

I dont know how i end that second round, but i think its really dificult to cut distance between players and i also think can be really hard to beat each other in knockouts round. I think we can hope very close results.

Saw something on the thread that said knockout rounds will be tough so I really don't expect these distances to remain the same.

If you saw his leg after that game, you'd know how bad it was; he's only lucky that he's not out of the World Cup yet, but his chances of playing depend on how far the Brazil team advances. His chances of playing R16 are also very slim. We probably won't see Neymar again because ankle injuries take 4-8 weeks to heal properly.

My group's underdogs are having a great time with the luck-based questions.

Neymar its really cursed about injuries in World Cups, i still remember that knee in his back in Brasil 2014, that destroy his entire column.

The Serbia vs Cameroon was the best game today and unfortunately I didn't get to watch it. I guess it wasn't that good for you because if the result. Now Serbia needs to win against Switzerland to qualify for the next round.

I didn't have time today to give the answers for the third round. I'll send them tomorrow when I hope to have more time to go trough the questions.

We will exclude Mbappe from the list. He has a decent advantage and an easy game against Tunisia (although it is a question if he'll be playing and for how long if he does).
Enner Valencia has a 1 goal advantage in front of the others, but there are some more attractive players on the list to choose from as well.

If we allowed Mbappe, we believe most players would pick him - and we want to see who's the next best option for you.

Most groups have 3 players fighting for two spots with some notable exceptions. Of course, everything is still open since almost anybody can pass if he gets perfect score in MD3. 10 points is a lot to work with.

It was very late when I filled all the information and I was doing multitasking, so it's possible I made mistake of missing to enter my username.
