I don't think their dancing specialties had any effect on their performance, not even by the slightest margin to be honest, and neither do I think they were carried away by it, however, I think the coach changes had effect on the match after Brazil scored they were still overcommitting players to attack they shouldn't been caught unaware in a situation of a 4v4 counterattack with just minutes left to play for, freaking Fabinho was on the bench, but you still had Neymar on the pitch, and no specific defensive tactical changes to the team, with such minutes left to play for even the most attacking team should do well to commit more to defensive organization rather than getting extremely over confident, and I really don't see Tite sending any defensive instructions either, perhaps they were carried away, but it was more by the fact they felt the job was already done and wanted more to it.

I think he's calling Croatia reaching the end without losing luck. 8 shots on goal from Brazil vs 0 shots on goal in 90 minutes I think is luck at least 1 shot. Keeper is incredible but he has to rely on luck a bit not to let in a goal.

Penalty is 50% luck and 50% psychological for sure, Croatia showed they have better mentality in this case, just like Morocco, which is something that South American teams usually don't have in the end because they see penalties as lottery while teams like Morocco and Croatia see it as winnable events.

I agree that the coach was careless and overconfident, because any other coach would have deployed a massive defensive strategy after Neymar's goal; all ne needed was to remove some attackers and bring in more defensive force to finish the game. He failed the fundamental tactics last night, and the team's failure to reach another Semi is his fault. I see he's already left the team.

Croatia being in the semi-finals this year is pure coincidence; they were the second best team in every game from the R16, and that is something we can all agree on. i like their wemen but i hate teams getting lucky all the time.

Not at all, especially against teams like Brazil. Croatia has a population of less then 4M, if we assume that half of that are men, that is 2M men of which I don't know maybe 100k is of age that can play competitive football and I have no idea how many of them are actually doing it at least semi professionally. Maybe 5k? Brazil has over 2.1M active football players at this moment. When a team with that much choice looses against us I am taking the win however it came.

I said before the game, we are not winning against Brazil in regular time, those penalties were our only chance and I am taking them all the way to final without second thoughts.

Really want Messi to pass, but Croatia doing the same in their own way is equally satisfying for me (not to mention they made me win pretty big on a hedge so I'm not as bad in my betting balance as before the game). Trofo putting the stats in terms of population sums up why I think I can live with them playing that way (and why I admire Uruguay for their intense footballing prowess being only a country with 3.4m and over 20% living below poverty line). If these nations need to play their way with what they got, it makes football beautiful.

Yes man, its was i said in my last comment, its the first time i see Messi so angry. Here we look at it through the transmission of which is that journalist we see it on live and we dont know to who was that.

Right now, the bench is the most comfortable place for him; he should get used to it. He fade up so quickly. Modric is 37, Messi is 35, Pepe is 39, and T. Silva is 37, and all of them are still playing at a high level. Ronaldo is 38 years old, but his abilities make him appear to be 40..

To be honest, winning Argentina with Messi in this form would be difficult; this is exactly the state of the team that won the last Copa America; everyone is in a good mood, and Messi is dominating every game without a single knock so far. I sometimes wonder how he is able to play a full game without taking a serious knock, knowing full well that he is the target man in every game. Less running, but you see him in every dangerous attack position with less space, and he still manages to make something out of it. Croatia is a good team, but Messi is in GOAT mode right now, so stopping him from scoring or making plays would be difficult.

Wow! That was a very close one, If Kane had scored that late penalty I surely would have been eliminated regardless of how it turns, this time around it just down to luck and nothing else, I really wasn't conscious of the total goals only counting for regular time, and I also went with Diogo Costa to concede the least number goals in my draft, but opted for Alisson eventually.
