Brazil were really a big disappointment in last World Cup by not even being able to go beyond the quarter finals. They had technically much stronger players than Croatia but they still couldn't. In my opinion that's because of not having a good management. Tite couldn't bring any significant success to the team despite being the coach for 6 years.

His only achievement is a Copa America trophy in the 2018/2019 season. I don't even have any idea why Brazil board didn't even sack him much before. Maybe the World Cup title would have been achieved with a great squad like this. Ramon Menezes must be the temporary manager now because he was managing the U20 team.

I hope they can find the right coach for themselves to get prepared really strongly for next World Cup.

I think it is not having good management but also not having all the players healed and there as well. Brazil were lacking a 100% Neymar, he came back from an injury, they lacked Jesus as well, and a few others if I am not mistaken. They were not a "team" neither, a group of very talented individuals getting together doesn't make them a team suddenly, it means that you are all good but you are not a team.

I always supported that Croatia ended up playing and being a lot better because they may not be individually better in many positions but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't have anything that would be bad, because they were much better at being a team and that is how they ended up winning and they are still winning at nations league as well.

Sometimes managing a group full of stars can be quite more difficult than what we may imagine, as there are a lot of egos that needs to be fed and this is not possible during the world cup, so this could generate bad chemistry among the players and cause them to underperform at critical moments, while a team like Croatia which also has its own stars but which have the commitment to try to make the best for the team can overcome their deficiencies and play at a higher level than expected due to this attitude.

Brazil failed and they had still players like Neymar in good form, now when they play again in the next world cup I'm sure they will have even worst performances because of the players they have.
That's why like I said before the golden days for Brazil are over and they won't be able to have the same performance we saw from them before.

Anyone watch the US vs Mexico game last night in the Concacaf semi.  Great game from the US side but it got ugly.  Bad blood between the 2 teams came out hopefully this is a start to something bigger.  Hope they somehow align them so it's a possibility they end up playing in the knockout stages against each other.

USA side dominated the match easily against Mexico but the match really took an ugly turn and so many red card that werent really needed. McKennie got his shirt ripped and i have never seen it that someones shirt was that ripped. USA is one step away from winning the title and they got Canada in the final.

I don't agree with you.
Brazil never play defensively, that's simply not their style of football and Brazil doesn't know how to play that way.
In addition, Neymar scored a goal in the last minute of the first overtime and after that the whole second overtime was played, full 15 minutes and not just 1 minute, you confused something here.
The main reason why Brazil lost to Croatia is that they did not score more goals and solved the game in time. For this reason, the players of Brazil should be blamed, not the coach, who did everything he could and sent the strongest possible team to the field.

But still, USA has a great chance to win or defend the CONCACAF Nations League title again. Although indeed, the 3-0 victory did have a lot of red cards but by doing so, it is at least proof that they are playing with great ambition to be able to win and to reach the final match. So there is nothing bad in this case for me personally and with that too, then USA is likely to have better quality than Canada, because USA can play with high aggressiveness and also to defend the title.

Proper defense could've won the game for Brazil, a tactic Tite missed. I agree that Brazil needs a top-tier coach to match its players' skills. Even after the World Cup, Brazil is still hunting for a competent coach, vital for their future triumphs.

Brazil's golden age is over (because that golden generation is gone and not just Ronaldo), but I don't agree that a coach can't do anything if he doesn't have Ronaldo. Such players appear once every hundred years or less, and if you wait for such conditions, you can never achieve them. Many more modest teams have won the title through team play and not through the individual qualities of the players.

I couldn't watch the full game but I just saw some minutes of the game America had a good performance in this game and they scored three goals. While Mexico is not a strong team but still America had good results there and I think if this Maerica shows a good performance in the 2026 world cup we can see the world cup host having a good performance especially when they are going to play the games at home where they have more benefits.

I think that Brazil played as well as the players of Croatia allowed it with their great game.
In the first half, Brazil could not do anything against Croatia, who played a perfect game and hid the ball from the Brazilian players.
Only when in the second half did the Croatian players get tired and the concentration drop, Brazil finally showed their strength in attack, but not enough to win.
However, during the entire match, it was clear that the players of Croatia matched the players of Brazil very well, and even after the lead of Brazil, it was clear that the match was not decided.
What do you think Brazil's players should have done after taking the lead? Play only in defense, defend desperately and forget about attack? The fans would never forgive them for such a cowardly game and it would not be the real Brazil. Maybe the reason of why we don't see these players Ronaldinho and Ronaldo anymore is mostly because the tactics are changed in the world and most teams prefer to don't rely on superstar players even players like Neymar can't be useful in the new systems most of the teams use and the true Brazilian playing style is nearly dead.

Little discussing about my national teams journey for FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States

For the Asian zone, FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States qualification round will start October in this year, my national team Indonesia ranked 28th in the Asian zone or 149th FIFA ranked and must play in the playoffs to face national teams from the East Asian zone. For the first Playoff round has format home away and I hope before June my national team Indonesia ranked increasing up and move to second pot. For first pot have to play on playoff round before leading to group qualification but if Indonesian national team winning on few friendly match seems has chance move to second pot and not have to play on playoff round.
