I would guess that someone who doesn't trust the election system of USA would not be happy anywhere else neither. It is true that postal is not a great way to handle if you do not trust the system because that looks like the weakest link to it all, because in place voting rarely gets any issues.

Depending whom you ask, some will tell you that the New York City prosecutor simply pushed the case forward in hopes to break the ice so the most damaging cases can come after it. Trump is not actually scared of what could happen in the NY case, since it is difficult to prove he directed his former lawyer to do the crime.

On the other hand, the Georgia prosecutors have Trump in a record pressuring the state athorities to find votes for him and using subtle threats against them.

Also, on the timing for betting in this presidential election, I would not push the button until we have reached the final days before people are called to vote. We all know how unpredictable these things are.

There are provisions for postal voting, which are being misused by both the mainstream parties. At least when compared to the elections in European Union and Japan, those in the United States are conducted in a very unfair manner. A perfect example is the 2008 United States Senate election in Minnesota. Norm Coleman of the GOP was leading after all the votes were count. But Al Franken of the DFL was declared as the winner, claiming that tons of untallied ballots (all in favor of Franken) suddenly propped up everywhere.

So that proves that elections can be manipulated even in developed countries, and just like a lot of people, I used to think that such things only happen in underdeveloped or third-world countries where it's really easy for someone who has more power to turn the results in their favor by cheating in elections or by buying or forcing people to vote for them.

It is basically a game between politicians where the person who has the most power will come out as the winner, and others will then have no other option but to accept that or they can start protesting if that does any good.

I guess there’s nothing new about it. That’s the reason why election have end up so dirty because of these powerful people who tend to control the results or buy the votes of the people so they can win and sit on the powerful positions in the government. And not committed any federal crimes, that is something you should remember, plus states could exempt people from running if they are a criminal. Not many criminals you see that are politicians... of course that's a joke, almost all of them are corrupt criminals but Trump would be found guilty. All in all I am guessing that the guy with 2 impeachments, and a guilty verdict on his name may have hard time being the nominee legally, not because he would lose, he might still win, which tells a lot.

That is what happened back in 2016. Trump announced his candidature relatively late, and he was able to secure nomination from the GOP by defeating all the mainstream politicians. I don't know whether the same may happen in 2024. But one thing is sure. As per the current American political system, there is zero chance of a third party candidate winning the elections. They have a two party system, and anyone who wants to compete in the POTUS 2024 elections should first secure nomination from one of the two mainstream parties.

Lately I've been reading a couple of articles that say that some countries are starting to move away from the USD and use other currencies instead.

Not sure if that's going to get some momentum, but I don't remember reading anything like that a decade or so ago.

It is waaaaaay too early to bet on this right now, I think it should be a few months at least. You know when I wager? when I know both sides and their nominees for sure and they start their campaign. I am not saying 24 hours before the election starts, but lets see the nominations officially first, and we start seeing president and opponent starting a tour.

If you watch even a single debate between the two together, then it is going to be a good one. I am not sure how well it would be received considering whenever Trump speaks he makes someone hate him, and whenever Biden speaks... he doesn't . I have read about it as well and I personally think there is a chance it actually happened.
The important thing in about this case and its influence on Trump campaign is that it is very unlikely those charges will push Trump out the race for the presidency. That would only spark more civil unrest.

If I had to bet on Trump's strategy, I assume he will try to delay that case (an others) as much as possible so he can endure until getting his job as president again and getting immunity.  I have said it again in other occasions: I would not be surprised if trump started some political dynasty with his adult children so he can continue to be "untouchable" even after his second term.

To be honest, the more people start talking about a candidate, the more votes that person will get.

It seems that it doesn't matter if it's positive or negative, it's just similar to a popularity contest.

I'm not all too familiar with US elections but pending cases does not disqualify a candidate from what I know. I'm not sure if conviction of a civil or criminal charges prior to the election prohibits them from holding an office.

I am not sure whether Biden is more aggressive than Trump. But one thing is for sure. Trump followed a non-interventionist policy and he wanted to fix problems back home before taking care of those outside the United States. And that is the reason why he decided to pull back from Afghanistan and Iraq. However, for some unknown reason Biden changed that policy. He has spent hundreds of billions in foreign military intervention (a large part going to Ukraine) ever since he became the POTUS. But being aggressive doesn't mean more successful. After spending so much in supporting Ukraine, Russia still controls more than 20% of the territory. So which approach was the right one?

I have dared to think that the influence of other politicians has caused them to put Trump in tremendous trouble to disable him, but it seems to me that if it is something like that it is a very dirty move, and even though I do not believe in politics precisely because of their plays dirty because playing like this between them seems to me that it is something normal, I am not one of those who believe in politicians, but in this case Trump is not a politician, he wants to do politics but he did not study it,his thinking is more focused on management and to business, so that's why I don't think he would do anything bad and he already has experience, I think if he wins he would do whatever he wants.
