The group stage is going to go on very comfortably for Real Madrid. We must have all understood it from their winning against Napoli away recently. That was technically the toughest match of the group. But even Napoli couldn't stop them in Naples. I can already be confident that Real Madrid will finish as group leader.

The important point is what they will do against the biggest title contenders. Especially against Manchester City and Bayern Munich I mean. If they manage to show a strong team performance with the help of their main scorer Bellingham too then I wouldn't be surprised to see Real Madrid adding another CL title to their collection.  

I think it is a given that Real Madrid is going to move to the next round and they are doing it on first place, however their recent performances do open the debate about whether or not they can win the whole thing, as there are teams that are showing a performance that is superior to what we are seeing Real Madrid deliver, still due to their history and economic power we cannot disregard that Real Madrid could do something to turn things around and improve significantly over the next months.

This season I don't expect Real Madrid to add to their collection of Champions League titles. Real Madrid can certainly qualify for the round of 16, but I'm not so sure they can reach the final if they face tough opponents in the knockout round. Real Madrid could barely win the game against Napoli, they even had difficulty winning the game against Union Berlin. Imagine if in the knockout rounds Real Madrid had a better opponent, I think they would have failed.

But I agree that anything can happen. Real Madrid is the king of the Champions League with its collection of titles, but the doubts are always there this season because Real Madrid seems to have lost their attacking power without their best striker. Bellingham can certainly be relied on, but he can't always be the hero in every crucial match.

I think all clubs have their own strengths and weaknesses, and Real Madrid is no different. The best opportunity that Madrid management can use is the January 2024 transfer market, to recruit a number of new players to increase the club strength to make it more promising. Ancelotti is very ambitious about ending his tenure with various trophies before coaching the Brazilian National Team. With the depth of the squad he currently has, I think he can realize his ambition, even though they sometimes have difficulty winning, but what is clear is that they have handled it well so far.

At the top of the La Liga standings and Group C of the Champions League, it is a fact that Madrid deserves to be the favorite, because on the other hand, Man City, Bayern Munchen, Barcelona and Inter Milan are having difficulty topping two standings at the same time, I mean this list of clubs. What Real Madrid needs now is an Mbappe. Simply put, Bellingham can't do it alone. I mean, coming in from the midfield might be a brilliant display, but nothing beats a running goal scorer or a striker like Ronaldo. I also think it would be tough for Real Madrid to win this UCL because other teams have done better and not until the finals would anyone be able to properly ascertain their spot to the title.

Napoli are not playing as well as last season. So the fact that Real Madrid beat them should not deceive us. Real Madrid may have played well, but Napoli played badly. Real Madrid is always the favorite in the Champions League. They showed us this many times.

Real Madrid manages to win most of its matches with its experience. They also won many matches in the Champions League by using their experience. They have a big deficiency this season. There is no star striker in the team. If Mbappe joins the Real Madrid team, I think the biggest favorite will be Real Madrid again.

In fact, Real Madrid really struggled to win the match against Union Berlin, in fact they had to wait for 90+4 to score 1 goal. Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has suffered a hamstring injury on international duty, the club said on Monday.

Napoli has left from competition to finish at the second spot since osimhen is injury right now. I see no points to support napoli in this case. I would rather than pick different club instead of napoli to win the second spot. Osimhen is facing injury and no eta when he will able to recover from his injury.

My prediction was that PSG would be the group champion of this group and AC Milan would be second. But now it seems unlikely that this will happen. The Newcastle team is changing all accounts. Newcastle are now at the top of the table after a draw with Milan in the first leg and a big win over PSG in the second. Dortmund, on the other hand, is at the bottom of the points table.

The most inexperienced team in this group is Newcastle. Still they are able to perform well. And their match strategy is excellent. I think the team will be able to qualify for the knockout round. But it is very difficult to predict which team will finish second in the table at the moment. I consider PSG as favorites for second place in the table.

Bad news came from Shakhtar Donetsk, because they had just fired coach Van Leeuwen and now the confidence they had cultivated against Barcelona was lost. Shakhtar Donetsk have lost so many players to other teams due to the ongoing war against Russia. There were really skilled players like Tete among those players as well. It hasn't been easy for them to make progress from that situation so far. They are doing well in their domestic league actually and I can't say they are in too bad condition in the Champions League either.

Therefore I'm surprised with this sacking by Shakhtar Donetsk. I can't call his period at this team unsuccessful honestly.

It is definitely sad that this happened to them right before the match against Barcelona. The performance from them so far has definitely been decent. But you cannot get good results out of the Champions League trophy being decent. you will have to perform really well. Now I am not going to talk about the decision that has already been made.

Now, if someone tells me that they are going to win against Barcelona in the upcoming match, I will say that it is a possibility of course. But not a high probability anymore. Actually was not a high probability for them to win in the first place.

This is quite an early call you are making here Real Madrid has lots of potential and I wouldn't get too distracted by some weaker performances. They have everything it needs to raise their performance level. Because simultaneously Manchester City isn't doing that great either. If we consider both Real Madrid and Manchester City, I don't think one team can be considered much better than the other. Maybe Arsenal will be among the biggest favorites and maybe Barcelona can as well increase their game quality over the coming months. Last season I was quite sure that Manchester City would win it as they have been so dominant most of the time, but it's different this season. It is much harder to give it a guess, but saying that Real Madrid is probably not one of the favorites doesn't quite right to me.

I guess doubting Real Madrid's chances of winning the title this season isn't an insult to them. I have watched almost every match in all competitions, maybe even more than the fans themselves, so I know where this team's weaknesses are so I doubt it.

Real Madrid's strength this season comes from Bellingham's good performance. I can imagine that if a team was able to stop Bellingham and Vinicius' movements, then Real Madrid would really have a hard time winning the match. Their midfielders could help find goals, but Ancelotti's strategic approach this season has tended to be easier for his opponents to know. But I was rather trying to say that the other teams are also not as convincing as they have been before. I am not saying you are wrong about Real Madrid not being as strong as they have been in some of the last few seasons. But who is stronger than Real Madrid at the moment? Last season I would have instantly responded myself with Manchester City, but they are trying to find their best form as well. It maybe an entirely different team like Arsenal that may turn into the major favorites for the title. I don't see Barcelona as the strongest team and Manchdster City has had some changes in their team, some for better and some for worse. I don't see this one team yet that sticks out from all others.

If they lose or draw a point with Bayern Munich, they will be disqualified from finishing first, and Bayern Munich will almost certainly win their remaining four matches.

I think MU's chances of finishing in second place in the group will be very difficult, because Manchester United's performance itself is unstable or inconsistent. I prefer Galatasaray, in the domestic league they are quite impressive with the 8 matches they have played, the 7 wins they have achieved and so far they have never lost. On the 24th Galatasaray will play against Bayern Munich with full support from the crowd, I am sure Galatasaray will get points at home to maintain the points position in the group

I also think so it seems it will be difficult for Manchester United to be able to secure second place. And in my opinion, in the UCL group phase this season, Group F is the fiercest and up to now the four teams still have a chance to qualify from the group and even now it is still very difficult to predict who will be able to qualify, because these four teams have equal quality.

Group F is proving hard to predict. Despite teams like PSG and Dortmund not performing up to expectations, Newcastle is causing a surprise in this group. In my opinion, Newcastle and PSG will be the next two teams to advance.

I do agree with it. The result against napoli away made me feel so confident with the performance of real madrid at this moment. That's why im not even doubting the performance of real madrid this season. I won't want them back in that Competition, rather, they should finish at the bottom of the group stage and return to the Premier League backing chasing for qualifications in the Premier League table once again.
