Arsenal may be far behind compared to the strength of Real Madrid this season. I won't even doubt that Real Madrid will be ready to win the title this season. I also can't decide which one I actually predict will have the best chance of winning the title this season. Although I might hope that Inter Milan can perform as well as last season. But in my heart I honestly also feel that Inter Milan will have difficulties this time. Because Bayern and Real Madrid this season are different from their performance last season. When City played their match in the Group G phase, they got maximum points even though several players had to be absent due to injury. one of them, Kevin De Brunye, had to be in the treatment room for quite a long time. nevertheless, Pep Guardiola's squad did not experience any significant problems when playing their matches against teams in the Group G phase. now, De Brunye has returned and recovered from his injury. even though Pep didn't play him as the main starter in the match against Newcastle, De Bruyne was able to maximize his ability and stability even though he only played a short 21 minutes. I am not convinced with Haaland’s performance this season, maybe it’s due to De Bruyne’s absence. Nevertheless with or without him, if KDB is present in the team I don’t have any doubt so missing Haaland in the team is not a problem to them because KDB will create chances for others to score.

This makes us to feel worried about Man City, it will be a big problem if they play against a strong team like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich without the duo Haaland-De Bruyne.

We don't know when Haaland will return from injury. But if Haaland can return quickly then we will have a chance to see the great performance of Haaland-Bruyne pair again. And Manchester City can play well in Champions League and Premier League.
However, now Manchester City will have to play without Haaland. So I would say the pressure will increase on De Bruyne. The team will depend on De Bruyne's performance in crucial matches. Guardiola is a very experienced coach. He knows exactly when and  which player use properly. Hopefully Manchester City will not be eliminated from Champions League competition before Haaland returns to the squad.

Although there is not much change in the team, there is a significant difference in performance from Manchester City this season compared to last season. Last season they had a very consistent performance from the start which made us feel that Manchester City will definitely dominate Europe this season and Manchester City did but this season's performance doesn't seem to be the case. They are missing a midfielder and their most important player is injured which is probably the reason why their performance does not look like last season. They must improve their performance to compete with the big teams in the Champions League. If Manchester City can improve their performance, Manchester City can be a thorn in the road for the best teams including Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

There was only one game where I thought that this is not the Manchester City like they played most of the time last season and that was in the Champions League final against Inter Milan. This is the reason why I think that Inter Milan has a big chance to win the title this year.

Manchester City had to learn the hard way and lost against Chelsea, which nobody thought would be possible. The consequence was that Manchester City knew how close they were and then they became nervous and Inter Milan had nothing to lose. That is why that final was so much closer than I thought.

This season they can still improve their game in many respects whereas last season I thought they reached a level that could be called perfect.
