By February the knock out stage for the UCL will kick off and for some teams, it'll be an easy slide through regardless of the notion of the strongest teams being the ones able to scale into this stage. If we compare Manchester City's performance with last season, this season they look more shaky not as promising as last season. Real Madrid on the other hand, they have been able to improve their game and look better this season, so their chances are greater when compared to last season.

Let's be honest, the only reason why City and Inter played the finals was because City and Madrid faced each other at semi finals, if it was city or Madrid that played against Inter during the semi finals, then it would be City vs Madrid finals. Which is exactly what I really want to see, it would be awesome to see them play against each other in the finals, that would really be awesome.

This is a good news for manchester city and yeah we shall not forget that if haaland will be back again next month. The chance for manchester city to take UCL this season becomes even bigger than before. Im quite happy by seeing fuardiola said this on his latest interview.

Im feeling very good to say manchester city will be winning UCL this season. There will be no club can prevent haaland and de bruyne once they will be playing together. Halaand was just winning his first UCL on the first season he played for manchester city.
There will be a lot of surprises to come soon. This is gonna be very interesting competition to watch. City was always lucky in getting easy team as its opponent. Copenhagen was nothing for manchester city. '

Im not doubting the chance of city to get UCL this season. The club is performing far better than before and i can't even wait haaland to comeback again soon. He was a disaster for the whole clubs in UCL.

Don't forget that the defending king of the Champions League is Real Madrid. He may have lost against Man City in the final last season. But they always learn from past mistakes. Of course they won't want to lose if they enter the final against Man City again.
Real Madrid's mentality is certainly superior, especially now that Real Madrid is in top performance even though it is without several core players who are suffering from injuries such as Alaba, Curtois, Militao.
But I still respect Man City, which also has the best duo in Europe at the moment, namely KDB and Haaland.

Last season, Man City maybe was able to beat both of them. Because last season Ral Madrid and Bayern were not in good enough condition. But this season I think something is different. Because Real Madrid and Bayern this season really look more solid than last season. Meanwhile, Man City has had many problems this season. De Bruyne has also just recovered and has returned to playing and indeed he can immediately return to his best performance. But Haaland hasn't returned yet, but I haven't heard any news about when Haaland will return. Even though there are lots of rumors circulating that Haaland might be able to return at the end of January, I'm still not sure whether he will immediately return to his best performance or not.

De Bruyne can immediately return to his best performance but we still don't know about Haaland. So this season the UCL will probably be fiercer than last season. Unless Haaland returns and remains in good form then Man City's chance of winning the UCL title again could indeed happen again.

Inter Milan is also something to be reckoned with. Because this season Inter Milan also looks stronger than last season. And Serie A clubs are sometimes difficult to predict. And can always make other strong teams overwhelmed when facing them.

By February the knock out stage for the UCL will kick off and for some teams, it'll be an easy slide through regardless of the notion of the strongest teams being the ones able to scale into this stage. City and Copenhagen would go against each other and it's very much clear that City would be the survivors.
Their key men are back and set to run and definitely that's enough charge to weigh down Copenhagen.

 Yes, in their home ground, they may try to put up a battle but I'm certain that City will be capable to overturn them. They're way ahead of them in capacity and ability too. As always, the round of 16 will have as much fun as there can be in it and it's greatly anticipated. Preparations and games would definitely be intense too. That's why there's the winter window, for clubs to strengthen their squad depth ahead of competition like this, cause it going to get tougher and the wicker teams would definitely get kicked out.

Manchester City should be able to get very deep in the Champions League competition. Manchester City is a good team. And I believe Manchester City should be able to beat the competition that they have till the semi-finals at least. Now Manchester City definitely has the capability.

The question is, are they going to be able to be consistent enough to do that? I think they should. But they have definitely been a little inconsistent in this season. So it might be possible that they do not reach the semi-finals. But I highly believe that Manchester City should not get knocked out before that.  If anything that is definitely going to make the competition a lot more uninteresting.
