For what I know this is not really accurate, casinos pay their own taxes but they do not have the responsibility to pay the taxes of their players, so if you happen to win a big sum you need to see what kind of taxes apply to you, as there are some countries where no taxes are applied to your winnings but there are other countries in which the taxes are really high and there is no other option to you but to pay them or face the consequences if you do not do so.

On the time that you do bet or buy some lottery ticket then its not ideal on making yourself that too optimistic or really that too confident that you would really be getting the jackpot because thats not how it should be

Although it may depend upon the country to country basis but still I think that most national lotteries are fake and they are made to gather money from the public. In my opinion, lotteries have only one advantage over casinos. This means that if you win, then you will definitely have no problems with withdrawing funds. Everything will be legal and calm, you will come to the designated place and you will be given a prize.
But that's where I think the pros end.

I’ve always said that lotteries are taxes on people who are bad at math, but more honestly they’re for people who have no hope of getting rich through investment knowledge or by building companies, this is their long shot hope at a different life.

After winning the lottery there are many chances that I will win but a reverse happens. When I was younger I bought lotteries like this many times that would pay out three days later but never got around to it. Well, in fact, both of you are right. Educated people is expected to reserve a percentage of the prize to pay the corresponding taxes, so, although annoying, it is still a good deal!

But lottery doesn't reward education but simple chance, and there are many stories about people who spent too much as soon as they got their money, to the extent of making them insolvent for life due to penalties no one could pay in a lifetime.

If we take the national lottery as example then we are talking about millions of tickets being sold. If you buy one ticket, you have a small chance to win. If you buy ten tickets then you have increased your chances of winning ten times but those chances are still small given the huge number of sold tickets. Personally, I prefer buying a single ticket and hope for the best.

I've literally seen people spending thousands of dollars on lotteries to win the main prize but they ended up winning very small prizes and sometimes even not winning a prize at all, so it's simply wasting your money when your winning and losing is totally dependent on your luck and nothing else, even if you get higher chances of winning if you have more tickets, that doesn't really guarantee that you will actually win a prize at least enough to cover the cost of the tickets.

I think I recall those, but I think I was very young back then.
Nowadays lotteries related to migration are not longer advertised in the radio and on TV, it seems people is not so interested on them as they used to be. In order to partake in those lotteries now, one needs to manually submit one's documents on a webpage and be careful to fulfill even the smallest requirement , so one won't get booted out the lottery.

If we take the national lottery as example then we are talking about millions of tickets being sold. If you buy one ticket, you have a small chance to win. Unending hope and wishes or expectation is the main driving force on why people do really continue to make out bets on lotteries even if they are really that aware about those odds and chances of winning is really
