Really I thought both sportbet and lotteries are both hosted by casinos and at that the casino settles all the bets rewards and payouts,  I never knew that lottery rewards are paid with other gamblers' own money,  but then how do those that pick the lucky numbers and hit a jackpot in lottery get paid if it the money from the buying of lottery tickets buy other gambler is what is used to settle payments in the lottery?

In my country there is a law, that limits winning percent. So the lottery owner can`t make prizes less than 50% price of the sold tickets. In casino there is RTP, but i don`t sure that it works in all games in casino. Anyway, as i remember, normal RTP is more than 90%. So you can compare casino and the lottery.
About sport betting. As i know, the odd are based on the teams statistics and don`t depends on gamblers money. Of course it can be recalculated due to sum big bets, but firstly they don`t have any information about bets.

Sorry to disagree, but this is like saying that as you can be blind or not, you have 50% chances of being blind. Another think is that you like betting into sports and you want to believe that this is true, but reality is much more complicated than that.
