I never believed, at any point in my world, that the word called luck ever existed until I came to the world of lotteries.

However, I have a different opinion when someone has nothing wrong with spending a small part of their money to buy lottery tickets such as $0.1 to buy 5 tickets or 10 tickets and that is not a big number for everyone and it would be better to do it only when you have money but according to I think everyone can afford to have $1 every day and there is no problem losing $1 to try their luck at getting the jackpot from the lottery.
We will never know when we will be lucky and buying lottery tickets with the smallest amount will not make us poor as long as we can consistently think that this is just an attempt to get lucky.

Judging by what you, dear colleagues, write in your posts, maybe I’m just wrong and quite a lot of lottery players constantly repeat their magic numbers when they fill out lottery tickets.   Of course, filling out the numbers on a lottery ticket for 20 years in a row, writing the same number is an interesting and wonderful achievement.  If your relative continues to do this, then probably after a while she will be able to claim a Guinness World Record. 

In general, it is interesting, of course, what percentage of players are there who always write their magic numbers in lotteries, and how many are those who write spontaneously and by chance, just whatever comes to mind at the moment.  But still, you should treat with respect those who believe in their superstitions.  Sometimes it works.

Buying cheap tickets that have remote possibilities of giving you a win, but are cheap even bought by the dozen is - statistically speaking - clearly and provably a losers game. However, there is nothing wrong in playing tickets from time to time because it is like a way of keeping hope for the future alive for many people who will never have any other way of making significant money.

As for me it is a bad idea. If someone has no money - buying tickets just decreases money, he needs for living. Of course, he has a chance to win big prize, but the main part of such gamblers just lose their money. And it isn`t an "everyday cup of coffee", it looks more everyday bread. It would be better to spend these money on something really important than trying to catch a luck.

However, I have a different opinion when someone has nothing wrong with spending a small part of their money to buy lottery tickets such as $0.1 to buy 5 tickets or 10 tickets and that is not a big number for everyone and it would be better to do it only when you have money but according to I think everyone can afford to have $1 every day and there is no problem losing $1 to try their luck at getting the jackpot from the lottery.
We will never know when we will be lucky and buying lottery tickets with the smallest amount will not make us poor as long as we can consistently think that this is just an attempt to get lucky.

It is just testing luck. There is no problem, when you have an opportunity to spend this $1. But if you have to choose to buy bread or lottery ticket - it is not a good time for testing luck.
And, the same time i don`t think that it is a clever decision to believe that you can become the winner between 10.000.000 people. I`d prefer to buy coffee.

Seeking or trying your luck from lottery betting is not detrimental thing in my opinion as long as he can manage it (financially).
Remember that betting on the lottery by buying tickets will not lose excessive amounts of money because lottery bets can be made in very low amounts even lower than other bets plus with this small amount gamblers can make profits many times over if they are lucky.

Well, drinking coffee is another way to get your daily punch of dopamine, but I don't think that it is necessarily a more clever behavior than playing lotteries. If you only mentioned another food with a higher nutritional value...
