Manchester City - Arsenal, less than a week to go... What do you say for this game? Do you believe Manchester City will manage to win this time after a draw against Liverpool?

Personally I believe there might be a chance for Arsenal. I'm favouring Manchester City though but we have seen them struggling in big games so far. Apart from the Liverpool draw I remember the one against Chelsea at Etihad again.    While we are in really critical weeks I really wonder if they will fail again. As a reminder Arsenal beat them 1-0 at Emirates.

I wouldn't be holding the draw against Liverpool against them. It was an away game against the top team, earning 1 point there was no shame. Similarily Arsenal also noted a draw in their away game against Liverpool in December.
I think The City will either win, or we'll see another draw. The key factor here is that Man City are playing at home, where they haven't yet lost any league game this season. Meanwhile, Arsenal has 3 losses in away league games.

It is a season defining game for Arsenal as they have got bigger gons to play in the premier league while also playing Bayern Munich in the champions league as well. Who do you reckon Arsnela would defeat amongst their top fixtures? Chelsea? City? or Manchester United?

Chelsea has changed managers 4 times during the 2 years under Boehly's ownership.
Guardiola need a year before he able to win the Premier League title for Mancity, and Kloop even took 3 years to win the Premier League with Liverpool.

Chelsea must give Pochentino more time, and stop buying a lot of expensive players who have never played in the Premier League before.
These Chelsea players are now just run and run but with no results, there are too many individual mistakes because the players on the field are not yet completely united.

I agree. Even the best coaches need time to rebuild the team for their own system to bring success. Manchester City squad has been built according to Guardiola's plans. Now they are dominating the EPL. Klopp came at the beginning of the 2015/2016 season and couldn't save Liverpool for 3 years. But after missing the title chance barely in the 2018/2019 season they finally won in the following season. 

These examples are proving that giving a coach a good amount of time is really important. But I don't have such hope from Boehly after seeing how many times he has changed the coach until this point. 

And this is what some people did not understand: people think once they employ a new manager into a club, there should be a change immediately, which is impossible. Things did not get repaired immediately. The coaches need to take their time to understand how the players and their patterns are so they can know how to handle every situation in their squad. Sometimes people think that once there is a problem in a team, the coach should be blamed, which sometimes they don’t have the option of leaving the game to go like that.

While some want that once a coach is having problems with his management skills, he should be sacked and replaced, but in Liverpool, I also realise that it is all about sacking or changing coaches that cannot bring a club performance back because Chelsea have done that several times and still yet to gain back their performance. De bruyne can comeback anytime around this month or next month, but it's unlikely de bruyne will join in the squad this month consider the fact that if he is still injury. No chance for him to play against arsenal at home. I hope that he will return as soon as possible.
Manchester city will have some important events to come very soon. Im willing to see city to play with full squad in the crucial moments like this time.

Southgate doesn't seem like a good candidate for non-English teams to be fair, he has managed some premier league players, that's why he is considered doing better there. This means that all of that Bayern and Barcelona and Juventus deals are not good enough for him since he won't be doing all that well there.

It is not yet known for certain whether Kevin De Bruyne's injury is serious or not. But what is clear is that I hope Kevin De Bruyne does not suffer a serious injury so that he can return to strengthen Manchester City in the crucial match in the fight for first place because this match will determine who will win have more points so that the opportunity to fight for the Premier League title is increasingly wide open. To be frank I thought by now this would be 2 horse race (City and Liverpool) especially when last year ending Arsenal keeps dropping points but since beginning of the year how they have played to get to this point as been amazing though I don't have high hope on them but don't want to write them off now because sometimes when a team is less impressive that's when they get a trophy.

Normally these defenders have potential but they really tend to make unbelievable mistakes on one hand. I don't know maybe this is because of still being young. But this can't be used as an excuse of course. They would really make use of some experienced solid defenders also. Thiago Silva is 39 years old too. They can find good experienced centre-backs with all the money they have. They shouldn't just splurge without any decent plan.

Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish could be fit to face Arsenal after being pictured in Manchester City training on Monday.

Both players were left out of their respective international squads this month after suffering groin injuries, with Grealish back on the bench before the break against Newcastle without returning to action. Pep Guardiola had been positive about the duo, but admitted he didn't know if they would be ready to take on Arsenal on Sunday in a crucial Premier League title race showdown.

That could be a serious injury if Pep allows him to play in the Belgium squad, but I'm glad to see that Pep predicted it correctly and prevented his player KDB from playing for the Belgium squad and de bruyne potentially perform in the match against arsenal soon which is good. KDB's injury was not serious, and Pep did the right thing to keep his best players from getting his injury even badly caused by de bruyne is still playing very important role to ensure his club will able to get UCL trophy again this season.
The good news is that KDB and Grealish have returned to club training sessions, which is indicating that they will be fit to face Arsenal in the coming games. Even though the city must be missing a walker, I don't see it as a serious issue since pep is still having other club to replace him as RB.


I'd like to see Manchester City play with their full squad against Arsenal caused by arsenal is still on fire this time and it needs more effort to beat it. For Manchester City, they've got players that are key to them, although the team are good, but there were some leakages in the team as a result of De Bruyne and Gundogan's absence. They've still had an upper head in the contest but the team would best be in their top form when these two are present. Not loosing hope in them, they can still do the City magic.

 Kevin De Bruyne's injury was one that lasted a while and also caused him to loose form upon recovery. He's needed some time off to get back himself and his agility to match Guardiola's football. He's a quick picking player and he's going to be able to bounce back. No doubt, City misses him as he's got this special effect he gives to the team, a few things has changed since his absence and his absence is felt in a minut level. Al-Nassr got their eyes on him and no doubt it's his decision to go there or not, even though he'd cause a lot of impact in the team too.

 Al-Nassr move won't be a bad option though but the guy has still got some displays to do. His contract with City will expire soon and then we'd know his way forward in the footballing journey. By April, the quarter finals stage for the UCL will kick off and for the teams, it'll not be an easy slide through regardless of the notion of the strongest teams being the ones able to scale into this stage.

 The key men for City are back and set to run and definitely that's enough charge to weigh down their opponent. As always, the quarter finals will have as much fun as there can be in it and it's greatly anticipated. Preparations and games would definitely be intense too.

The injuries to De Bruyne, Ederson and Walker will certainly not reduce Manchester City's performance in my opinion, indeed all three are important players in the current squad but we also cannot deny if Manchester City still have Ortega, Kovacic and some defenders who can replace Walker well, at the moment I think the game against Arsenal will be the toughest game besides Tottenham in their remaining games this season,  In addition, I don't see there is another team that might be a strong opponent for Manchester City in the remaining of their matches this season.

I have a feeling all three will play against Arsenal. Man City have a history of players pulling out of internationals, to then miraculously recover for their club shortly after.

Arsenal are doing the same though, Saka pulled out of England camp and Gabriel is supposedly not fit to play for Brazil. Let’s see if they are all really injured at the weekend.

Same thing happened with John Stones tonight. Could it be that, they've already planned on doing that before the game? Because I didn't see anyone hit John Stones or come in collision with the Englishman while attacking or defending during the friendly game they played tonight against Belgium.
