I was even more surprised when Manchester United was ranked fifth in the league standings. Given their performance last season, it seems like someone more deserving of fifth place than them.

I think Newcastle, for example, deserve that position. I don't mean to underestimate them, as they could very well be better than last season, but we still need to see what happens. And by the way, the odds can change as the league progresses, but I'm still a little surprised by the current odds.

I say they should replace some of their players who are completely ineffective for their team efforts. This will also make a difference in their performance and give them some new ways to score goals which can give them a new hope of success. The way other teams are buying and selling I think Manchester United does not want to do it that way otherwise they would have started making their team better as soon as the season ended. Manchester United should also spend some money which will allow them to see a new effort within themselves. But they should also get this win because where there is a defeat otherwise there should be two matches of win which will improve their weekly record. If they work hard in the first 2 weeks with the intention of improve themselves then I can be inspired by them.

It is uncertain whether Manchester United and Tottenham will do well next season. Both these teams have performed terribly in the last season. The performance of Manchester United and Tottenham has been erratic for the last few seasons. But these two renowned teams of the Premier League could not even be in the top 15 of the table in the last season.

Tottenham have bought several players to strengthen their squad. They have spent about 130 million on Mohammad Kudus, Mathys tel and Danso. Even then, I doubt whether we will see stable performance from Tottenham.

On the other hand, Manchester United have spent 150 million on Mbeumo and Cunha. Amorim is trying to strengthen his attack. He may gradually try to stabilize the defense and midfield as well. However, it is unlikely that we will see improvement in Tottenham and United very soon.

Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly is looking forward to see his investment exploring and generating profits in less than no time. The Blues have been very competitive when it comes to winning titles and they even bagged the UEFA Conference League title and now the Club World cup, and they're all under Enzo Maresca. He has not spend upto two seasons at Stamford Bridge and we're already seeing him proofing himself worthy, this is the type of manager the club have been lacking since.

The Blues will dominate next season because they've put down every action to make it right for themselves, they're not giving up and ready for the big games. I'm happy with the new signings of Chelsea, they're not stopping and keep spending gigantic figures in the transfer window because they need results next season.

I don't know if I'd call Bournemouth a very, very weak club. Let's say Man UTD were lucky to get those number of goals simply because their opponents didn't take the game seriously. I saw how the opposition struggled to come back, even had a goal ruled out for offside before they got their consolation goal late into the end of the game.
 You are right that Man UTD didn't do much but then you'd have to give them credit to have been able to hold on to their win and continue being solid in their defense unlike the way we know them for. The question is, can Man UTD replicate this performance when it matters the most? And as for Bournemouth, we know that part of what is keeping them the way they are is that they are yet to make any new signings after the ones they sold off.

It's pretty season friendly, any thing can happen. Although I don't expect Bournemouth to be strong as they were last season since they sold some key players.

The only good thing I can see here is from the fact that this may help them to have a good mentality when the season kicks off because last season was something else for them but let's see overall soon when it kicks off this month.

I watched the highlights of the Manchester United - Bournemouth match, United won 4-1 but their performance was not that great. They won because they were playing a very very weak side that made silly errors throughout the game. If United had played against a top club I doubt they would be able to beat them. So far, the only Manchester United players that have impressed me are Dorgu and Amad.

That's obvious Bournemouth's defence were the main problem. They conceded a lot of goals because of lack of discipline by their defense. That's the reason MU scored 4, but believe them to solve it as they're in the process in signing new defenders.
Like you said that the league game will be totally different with pre season game. That's why i'm not panicking even Bournemouth got massive lost against MU.

Well, we'll see if the player actually left Newcastle United for Liverpool or if it's just a rumor. Alexander Isak's arrival would certainly be a strong addition to their attack, but I suspect this Liverpool rumor is simply part of the player's strategy to secure a higher salary at Newcastle. It's quite clear that after the rumors of Alexander Isak's move to Liverpool became quite intense, and Newcastle continued to try to retain him, the player immediately asked Newcastle for a pay rise.

Alexander Isak is a capable and fully skilled striker. As the thing is just in rumors that Alexander Isak is willing to move into Liverpool or he wanted to leave his current club. As someone mentioned in the discussion, maybe the rumor is spreading by the player itself so he can demand for the increase in salary so this may be true or not but i think this is not a positive action to fulfill the demands. If they decide the Isak to let it go then before his leaving i think they managed to sign a new good player. I think this strategy should be followed by every club before the players leave there will be their alternative to keep the club in a strong and safe zone.

We need to consider how that would be a huge deal for them, because they do need money to improve. The both didn't manage as you said because anything any of them got was as a result of good deed, do you no that they rarely see losing from day one?, although I couldn't get it together when they both became the best of the league then because we no that when they left to Europa they barely boost for a reliable players let alone do like people who could win a trophy, but as surprising as it has always been they conquer because they saw uncompetitive teams but I think Manchester United still have the same form as then.

Exactly, winning the Europa league was just a one way ticket to champions league though the finals they played against Manchester united I knew somehow that they were going to win Manchester united because they always win Manchester united whether they are inform or not but the annoying part that last season was that they beat Manchester united about 3-4 times in a row. Any team that qualified for Champions league will always ensure to improve or do better than their previous season because champions league is a strong game and I believe Tottenham Hotspur will do well this season.

You never believed it because you were only watching Tottenham games in the league alone and not the Europa League. They were more concentrated in the competition than the league and if you watched it, you will notice that they were serious while playing the Europa League. Most people knew they were going to beat Manchester United, despite them not losing in the competition prior to the finals. Tottenham has been the better side between both teams in their last four meetings before the finals.

Tottenham Hotspur covered up their shit season with that Europa League trophy just because Just like Christiano Ronaldo said, football is a game of numbers. Judging from their league performance and their journeys to the final, they wouldn't be winning at all. However this season is not going to be an easy one for them also, aside them signing players, with the possible exit of Son Heung min, the team would shake further. But what is paramount is that from all indications, they would finish better at least, let me prediction be the 8th position. Son Heung min is a focal player in the team and a playmaker who has held the team even in the days of Harry kane.

I wish Tottenham success and their fans, but let them not forget that the best advice is to drop from UCL to Europa where they will stand a better chance to go far than UCL. The season is fresh and every team stands equal chance, Epl starts on the 15th of this month, anyone can top the table, haha.

You are right. Manchester United now survives only on the strength of recognition. Performance on the field, squad management is deteriorating. There was a time when the biggest stars in the world would line up to play for the Manchester United club. But that is no longer the case. Because now players do not rely only on recognition. Along with recognition, they also look for successful projects, coaches and continuous participation in European football. Which Manchester United is currently unable to provide. If we talk about players like Alexander Isak, then if he wants to improve from Newcastle, he will definitely survive from Liverpool or Man City. I won't deny that they've not been playing up to the standard of the team, at some point I stopped watching them cause the way they play was so disappointing I barely even bet on them cause they haven't been a serious team but I've noticed they've been doing well in the preseason maybe all Amorim just need was the Preseason to impact his strategy into the players and also sign more good players. Well let's see how their performance would be this coming season.
