I have no idea how they managed to reach the finals, it was definitely terrible for United to lose that one game, because if they won just a single game then they would be able to say their season wasn't for nothing, now we are seeing it and we can say that it was for nothing and they sucked.

Tottenham sucked too, but at least they made some good amount of money by both winning Europa league, and also now they are taking a ton of money from UCL as well, these are all important stuff. We need to consider how that would be a huge deal for them, because they do need money to improve. United on the other hand got no money, and they are having hard time making a transfer, they paid so much for two players and now they are done and not getting anyone else so far.

The whole situation might be frustrating seeing how bad things have gone with Manchester United, I’m surprised because United are known for excellent performance then but presently there’s nothing to show off. Even without a proper signing they can still make a difference if only they’re willing to, although it’s difficult defeating strong teams but we all know Manchester United is not a small club definitely they’ll fix every problem. Tottenham on the other hand defeated Manchester United for the title, I still feel Manchester United played like they never wanted to win and this is the problem, they freely handed over the title. Just wondering aside title match can Tottenham stand against Manchester United but, what’s the point losing against Tottenham for a title then prove to defeat same team well both teams can actually do better.

I won't deny that they've not been playing up to the standard of the team, at some point I stopped watching them cause the way they play was so disappointing I barely even bet on them cause they haven't been a serious team but I've noticed they've been doing well in the preseason maybe all Amorim just need was the Preseason to impact his strategy into the players and also sign more good players. Well let's see how their performance would be this coming season.

Preseasons are never a good yard stick for measuring the team success but rather it is a period where the look and the pattern of play of the team is actually implemented by the coach and understand by the fans. I don’t rate much of these preseason too much because I could remember the preseasons under Ten Hag was very good and just to start the season with back to back losses. So this new preseason wins are not a new thing but rather we should wait till the season starts.

Aside that I seriously believe that the club will bounce back, Amorim is looking to take the club back, he himself  had actually said that this summer was the best one for him but he wants more. He said people were of the opinion that it is not good that he joined mid last season but he said it was the mistakes then that they will be correcting that this pre season

Seriously, what did Stake think when they ranked United as fifth? Makes no sense to consider this to be a real thing, United sucked all season last year and so far got only two more players and nothing more. So 9 same players who was 15th last year, and 2 decent players and suddenly they are 5th? That makes no sense, Stake is not making any sense with these numbers.

Like I understand not putting them at 15th, surely they will improve and a 751.00 odds or something would be bad, of course they deserve more. But I think a 251 one or 301 one would make more sense, they would be ranked 9-10th with that, and would make more sense. And even if you want to be more confident in them, and put them at 7th or something, they should get 51+ odds, and for some reason they do not, they have 31, that's not possible.

Not only last season. The Red Devils finished the 2023/24 season in the 8th position as well. Therefore they have been in miserable condition for 2 years. 

It isn't certain yet whether Newcastle will sell Isak. It depends on they find a good striker to replace him. And I don't expect Newcastle to have a terrible season even in that situation...

Honestly, it seems Romano's accuracy has been dropping a lot. I'd rather trust Ornstein instead of him as reliable news merchant at this moment. In fact, Garnacho puts to stay in EPL as his priority at this moment. He only want Chelsea to join with. Any non PL club can leave him alone as he will obviously rejected offer from them very fast.

He left Ronaldo out of the team. He bought players like Hojlund and Antony at very high prices. Manchester United gave complete freedom and big funds to Ten Hag. But we did not see any improvement in Manchester United's performance. Manchester United's performance was very irregular. It is foolish to think that this team will change quickly with the help of Amorim. Amorim is not very experienced and so far Amorim has not been able to prove his ability. So the chances of seeing Manchester United's irregular performance in the next season are the most.

Manchester United are really facing a serious problem and since the past seasons they were still not able to decode their problem even when they got rid of Erik ten hag and sign Amorim as their new coach thinking they have solve their problem but it was not so. When Erik ten hag was managing Manchester United many people thought he was the team’s  problem and when he was sacked the the completed last season at the fifteenth place which was very terrible for the team. The best thing they can do now is to dedicate their focus on the Premier league next season and make sure they are part of the top five.

 I think it not proper to say Manchester United is a failed team because they are trying to reform but they missed out on many people in the transfer window.

It's not every club that knows how to keep a big player against their wish. That money will do great things for Newcastle and hopefully they will get a replacement, even if it's not a perfect replacement.

I can agree about that. Liverpool could have just let Newcastle get Ekitiké instead. But they had too much greed there. If I were in their place I'd do that and go for Isak first.

You're right. A good ending to the preseason friendlies can give a boost to any team's frame of mind in preparation for the incoming season but I still have my reservation that Man UTD would do better when the league starts being that the coach, Ruben Amorim, rather has a pessimistic mindset concerning how they will approach things. "The club would go through a difficult time, or Man UTD as a club would suffer" is something that has become his favorite choice of words to use these days and even though it's okay to be realistic, sometimes words like this can dampen the morale of the club.

There have been many times that we saw Fabrizio Romano posting sponsored tweets.    Unfortunately this is a part of their job but it really annoys the fans surely...

About Garnacho, all I know is that he is very likely to sign for Chelsea. He doesn't want to leave the PL right now. Napoli was an option before but the talks didn't progress more so here we are.

I am not blaming the manager who is still in the Manchester United team for Manchester United's poor performance. This manager took charge of Manchester United after the start of the season and when he went to catch him, he ended the season with a random team.

Chelsea definitely have a policy of signing young talented players that fits to their wage structure currently and nurture them to an extent that they can sell for a higher fee if the need be just as the case of Noni madueke. So you can’t say where will all this players they are signing play because even last season they have many players who are contracted to them but the coach device a means to make sure that every one of them gets a playing chance, and not only did they have the playing chance, every one of them was able to perform and shine. Most of the players only played in the Conference league while some also played in the  premier league and also in FA cup and carabao cup and it worked perfectly for them, you can see the level of success they achieved last season, they won two important trophies including the club World Cup. and also considering the number of competitions they will be playing this season i think they will need those players too and don’t forget that injuries and fatigue might also come to play as the season goes on and there will be need to replace injured players or over fatigue players considering that they just played the club World Cup and they don’t have much time to rest before the new season starts. Chelsea also lost some players in the squad, the like of Mudryk who’s probably on ban, and they also sold their winger Madueke to Arsenal, so I think that buying Garnacho will be a cover up for either one of Madueke or Mudryk. Newcastle United were already on the deal moving back and forth with the price tag for over a week after Chelsea left the deal, you can't blame Liverpool, they had all the chance in this world to sign him but couldn't because of the price tag. They barely escaped PSR sanction last season.

If Liverpool had left the deal Newcastle wouldn't have done anything either. They can't afford to spend €92m on a single player.

....Therefore, Newcastle even rejected Liverpool's £110 million bid for Isak. Initially, there were personal talks between Liverpool and Isak, and Isak also wanted to be at Liverpool, but Newcastle still maintained it.
