Here is the odds. Not much surprising. Or maybe Arsenal could have had lower odds considering last season. But probably bookmakers wanted to evaluate it like this because of its being the first game.

I will probably bet on Arsenal win @2.11. I can't wait to watch Gyökeres!  

Manchester United are not ready even with the recent introduction of attacking players. We're in need of a midfielder who can complement either of Bruno Fernandez in midfielder or Kobbie Mainno. Until the requirements are matched,  Manchester United can not get a clear edge over Arsenal. The best bet we can get over Arsenal should be a full-time draw results which I can settle for during match day one. Gyökeres will be no threat to our defence.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool

Before entering new season usually Premier league has a game between the winner of FA Cup against Premier league winner and this game will be held on sunday this week and i haven't check the odds for them but i will assume Liverpool is the favourite with low odds
Liverpool have done well so far this summer because they were very active to buy the players and the new players such as Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike can perform as expected by the coach and during pre season too Liverpool only lost from AC Milan so i am waiting their debut in this game to help Liverpool gets their first trophy this season

Am feeling Liverpool to win the game. So i bet on them this time. They clearly favorite as they have superior squad compared to the Palace. However, they missed some key players, but potentially to win the game. I don't wanna put so much hope to their new striker because he's still remain unproven. Only hope their new striker, Ekitike can help them to cook.
I believe Salah will be their key to carry the game. As long as they have him, they won't be losing to the Palace.

Liverpool football team stats is excellent because they played excellent in the last matches which they played against Crystal Palace football team. Crystal Palace football team performance was not as good as Liverpool football team as they won only 1 match out of last 5 matches which they played against each other And Liverpool football team won 2 matches out of last 5 matches abc 2 matches were ended as draw result and no team could win this match. That will be final match of the tournament and Liverpool team has more chances to win this match as they are ready to fight well in this match.Liverpool football team won 4 matches out of last 5 matches which is very exciting performance.

I know Manchester United has had a terrible performance few seasons past, and arsenal have been on their peak for almost 4 seasons now, but these coming 2025/2026 English premier League campaign is definitely gonna be massive like unbelievable things will really happen as all the English premier League teams have all gone all out in the transfer market to do what they can to competit in the upcoming campaign, so I will advise you should take your time and analyze the game through the preseason games transfer market and calculate how the teams might work come next season before you get more lost than winning, that game is so gonna be tough as Manchester United is not fun of losing either their first game of the season nor last game, so I will advise you give it a rethink.

Really hard to predict the results of first games of a season.    But still nice to see a big matchup on the first week already. I'm especially curious about Manchester United...

Because you know, they had a really bad season. It's most probably Amorim's last chance. He is building the squad for his own system this time.

I do not think and I do not expect Crystal palace to do much about this match. Crystal palace doesn't have the capacity to pull surprises in this final, rather they will be the recieving end.
Liverpool is clearly the favourite as they have a more formidable squad than Palace. Besides they have things to prove this season. They have many expectations from us due to how much they spent in the market. So, they should start with this one to make us believe they are serious for business.
It is not good to count anyone out, but Palace being demoted from Europa league is a very big demotivation to perform.

In the game of two, one is expected to win. All hands are pointing at Liverpool to win against Crystal Palace easily to lift the Community Shield trophy in four days from today. Although we never know what the finals would be like anyway because we have seen what has happened last season in the FA Cup, the Europa League, and the FIFA World Cup, that the teams we never expected to lift the mentioned league trophy.

Liverpool, I know, wouldn't treat Crystal Palace with less hand, and Crystal Palace, in the same vein, will give their best to match up with Liverpool's strength. Let's see how it goes anyway whether another surprise will hit us again in the world of football.

On other hand, seeing how small Arsenal odds is just a common sense. It's obvious they will win the game with huge scores. However, the last time i saw their odds was under 2.00, but it's now above 2.11. I agree with you if bookmakers still seem doubt to put their confidence at Arsenal.

I expected the odds to be less than 2. But it is 2.11. The bookies are probably not confident about Arsenal. Since Arsenal have made several changes to their squad, it is quite difficult  to predict how Arsenal will play in the first match of the season. On the other hand, although the performance of the opponent Manchester united is irregular, this squad cannot be called weak. So it is foolish to think that Arsenal is not likely to lose points. Arsenal also has a strong squad. Even then, it is always a bit difficult to win against a renowned team like Manchester United.

Yeah, i can't believe to see Arsenal gets 2.11 odds. Nevertheless, their odd gaps to the MU is considerably big. It's safe heaven to pick them as our bet. I don't rule out them to win with narrow score against MU, and BTTS may also possible to happen.
So, we have two choice here for betting on Arsenal or BTTS. It seems betting on Arsenal as it looks more attractive.

I'd love to see MU to beat Arsenal with their 200m forwards, but sounds impossible, right? I meant their forwards have no good chemistry at this moment. It's too good to be true to expect huge scores from their forward against Arsenal.

Arsenal odd wasn't supposed to be this high , how would they give lower odd to a club who barely made it to the seven or eight position last season and gave a bigger odd to a club who has constantly go very higher all the time of the premier League, was it because of the player Manchester United signed that has given them this confident on Manchester United, actually for seeing this odd i will take this challenge to stake on arsenal to win but if Manchester United win them I'm going to predict them fifty or seventh position on the premier League. they're both starting with big match. Manchester United are really facing a serious problem and since the past seasons they were still not able to decode their problem even when they got rid of Erik ten hag and sign Amorim as their new coach thinking they have solve their problem but it was not so. When Erik ten hag was managing Manchester United many people thought he was the team’s  problem and when he was sacked the the completed last season at the fifteenth place which was very terrible for the team. The best thing they can do now is to dedicate their focus on the Premier league next season and make sure they are part of the top five.

 I think it not proper to say Manchester United is a failed team because they are trying to reform but they missed out on many people in the transfer window.

It is easy to cure when you find out the disease the same problem is with the team of Manchester United i personally think that from all the teams right now Manchester United is suffering the worst time. But we can't say about them that they are a failed team. They definitely failed if they were not in the way of recovery and betterment. When the Eric Ten Hag was their coach then almost all the fans and viewers think that due to him the team is not able to do well . But since they have the new coach there are no significant changes and performance has been seen. So, i think the problem is not about the coach at all . They are not finding out the reasons which push them far from success i think before the work on enhancing the team's performance they should work first on those points and reasons which cause them to fail when they got succes in over coming their short comings their success story will be start again.

Alot has changed since last season for both clubs, Manutd has added some new additions to their squad and are looking way better in preseason games, alot of positive improvements hence the even odds. Going to be tough but Arsenal at 2/1 looks like a bargain in this fixture.

Yeah, I'd bet on Arsenal tooand I feel the odds are just fine. Since it's still the beginning of the season, we don't know the form both teams are in, so I don't think it should be lowered or higher than that, but as the date for the game approaches, I believe the odds will begin to change, but it won't be much difference.

Because this is a new season, and we don't know the full strength of the teams yet. You can write Manchester United off, especially when facing a big team in the first match of the season. They will be motivated to win as well. Arsenal is not that good a team to make them seem like United stand no chance against them.
As bad as Man United was last season, Arsenal only won them ones out of the three times they met. United drew one and knocked them out of the FA cup on penalties, so yeah, the odds are just fine.

Arsenal conceded three at home in a friendly, too. Of course, it’s just pre-season, but not exactly the kind of form that makes you rush to back them at 2.11.

Bookmakers doesn't care about last season when the match is on. The only thing they put into consideration is the previous matches and head to head between teams thats what they used to make odds for gamblers but that doesn't mean it will happen. Sometimes isn't what you expected that is going to happen because you don't know things that are beyond control is going to happen. Sometimes bookmaker just put what they want but begin to adjust when they see who is losing or winning.

As for Arsenal performance, I'm not feeling to well with some of their game. I don't know what Arsenal was think of Viktor Gyokores but he is mid. He played that game for 64 minutes and couldn't score any goals and he was just having it all because there was a chance to win but it's not like  that. A lot of if improvement is very necessary in Arsenal camp, the coach need to do better this time. If by this time next season and Arsenal doesn't secure any any trophy, Arteta is going to lose that job.

Indeed it was a bad start for Arsenal after loosing to Villarreal in Emirates Stadium. I was expecting Arsenal to defeat Villarreal with ease and with a large goals margins but it didn't happen as predicted. However it was a friendly match but it still says a lot about the current Arsenal form. Arsenal have Lost to Villarreal,Tottenham,Ac Milian while also struggled to defeat Newcastle United in the pre-season matches. With of this poor performance from Arsenal recently,it may happen that Arsenal may perform below average when the premier League season start. Gyokeres also failed to impress Arsenal fans in this game,i think Gyokeres should be given enough time to synergize with his new team mates.

Arsenal will face the athletic Bilbao in the Emirates Cup final. They didn't look very prepared in the Villarreal match, but I'm sure manager Arteta knows how to manage and where to intervene. He'll go into the match prepared and I'm sure he'll try many of his players in their original positions. The Spanish team is a tough and strong team, let's see how they play in the final. Arsenal is currently my favorite.

The results of last season are never going to be a factor in this season. Because Arsenal currently have a lot of good players and they are playing very well. If we consider the past, then maybe it would be completely wrong.

As we saw in the Club World Cup between PSG and Real Madrid. Real Madrid is a very strong team, no doubt about it. But they lost very badly to PSG. So you never know what will happen or not. Arsenal is in very good form at the moment. Arsenal will probably do very well in every match this season.
