Next week the Premier League is finally going to be underway.  

And we are starting the season with a lovely game like Manchester United - Arsenal.



Here is the odds. Not much surprising. Or maybe Arsenal could have had lower odds considering last season. But probably bookmakers wanted to evaluate it like this because of its being the first game.

I will probably bet on Arsenal win @2.11. I can't wait to watch Gyökeres!  

The odds are very tempting but the beginning of the season I will not take too much risk. We must remember even though Arsenal succeeded in recruiting Gyokeres but requires a longer adaptation. Competition at EPL is not as easy as competing in the Portuguese League. While Man United is also planning to recruit several great players who can hold the match draw. If I have to choose, I will choose to bet on BTTS with odds @1.74 much more comfortable.

I can agree that the EPL is making huge and noticeable improvements lately in terms of grooming young players to stardom and It gives me delight that EPL top clubs are now seeing good potentials in academy players. I totally agree that domestic academies have been producing great players for a very long time and it is time EPL clubs turn attention to domestic youth players.

Indeed, according to the data, young English players have just won the Euro U-21 Cup. This is certainly interesting because they are young and have long durability. Young players will have good potential if they can manage themselves well. Although I also know that many non-English players have entered the EPL. They come from other large countries that have big and good leagues. It seems that these young players with potential are not yet expensive.

This happens to be the most anticipated game as the league resumes. It is going to be tough and highly competitive and I really can’t wait for the experience. I expected this odds after Arsenal’s last two losses to Spurs and Villareal, however I think this is a good odds and it will be nice to double up some funds betting on Arsenal to win.

Am not a regular gambler, but seeing this odds makes it tempting to try my luck because by looking at their records and head to head meetings, Manchester united mostly wins especially when playing at home, so their is a higher probability of Manchester united winning this one here, but nothing should be ruled out entirely because arsenal are a formidable opposition, but regardless of anything else I will be risking my money on Manchester united to win because I am convince that they can win this arsenal team in this game regardless of the point given.
Though I know that most arsenal faithful will think otherwise here, but football isn't won on paper, but one thing am very certain of is that it's going to be a fascinating contest between this two teams.

Might want to hold off on that Gyökeres excitement for a bit. He played 62 minutes today against Villarreal — no goals, no assists, just 14 touches and one shot on target. Arsenal conceded three at home in a friendly, too. Of course, it’s just pre-season, but not exactly the kind of form that makes you rush to back them at 2.11.

This was considered a bad start for Arsenal and Gyokeres. Fortunately, this was only a friendly match, but fans were undoubtedly very enthusiastic to see Gyokeres perform at his new club, and expectations were high. However, on the other hand, it's undeniable that no matter how good a player is, he will definitely need to adapt.

One thing you cannot take away is club banter, all the comments about Gyokeres performance are from rival club fans, especially Manchester united fans whom he rejected, just expect more drama  next season. I believe he will perform but not as expected, because Premier league is quite different from the Portuguese league he is coming from.

If you are expecting Gyokeres to dominate the league in his first season with Arsenal then you are lying to your self, he will struggle with Arsenal for a while. We have other strikers in the league that won't let him outshine them. Mbappe is not in same class with Gyokeres, Real Madrid squad are better than  Arsenal, its easy for any striker to adapt quick in Real Madrid than in Arsenal. Do not use Mbappe situation to compare with Gyokeres.

Manchester United are really facing a serious problem and since the past seasons they were still not able to decode their problem even when they got rid of Erik ten hag and sign Amorim as their new coach thinking they have solve their problem but it was not so. When Erik ten hag was managing Manchester United many people thought he was the team’s  problem and when he was sacked the the completed last season at the fifteenth place which was very terrible for the team. The best thing they can do now is to dedicate their focus on the Premier league next season and make sure they are part of the top five.

 I think it not proper to say Manchester United is a failed team because they are trying to reform but they missed out on many people in the transfer window.

It is easy to cure when you find out the disease the same problem is with the team of Manchester United i personally think that from all the teams right now Manchester United is suffering the worst time. But we can't say about them that they are a failed team. They definitely failed if they were not in the way of recovery and betterment. When the Eric Ten Hag was their coach then almost all the fans and viewers think that due to him the team is not able to do well . But since they have the new coach there are no significant changes and performance has been seen. So, i think the problem is not about the coach at all . They are not finding out the reasons which push them far from success i think before the work on enhancing the team's performance they should work first on those points and reasons which cause them to fail when they got succes in over coming their short comings their success story will be start again.

Yes we all know Eric Ten Hang was a major problem at the team, with some kind of senseless action taken by him during he's stay at the club so for sure Eric Ten Hang was actually a big problem to the team, but talking about Reuben amorin I think it's quite too early to put on some blame on him, remember he took over the the from half of the season and Eric Ten Hang had already make mess out of the team, and he managed to get to the Europa League final despite losing the game, but the real deal is now that he's taken full control of the team, and with some kind of decisions taken we can be kind of certain for something good comes next season, so let's leave Amorin out of this for now please.

Eric ten Hag was the main reason Manchester United found themselves in a very poor stage, which Amorim just did the best he could to change the narration, but it was too late to change the narration in the Premier League, as they were not able to do anything. If we are all sincere, we will see that, from all indications, Amorim will be able to rise the team once again, which I have hope that he will do, as we have been seeing a bit of his tactics in the preseason match. I hope he does more in the main season.

Who's undermining the features of Viktor Gyökeres? Do you watch him at Sporting CP? He's an all time goal scoring machine and have been the pressing statistics to lure himself into winning matches. Who's doubting Viktor Gyökeres ability in Arsenal? He's just getting acquainted with the system, we know it's been a whole tough road for the player, always up and running for the big leagues. Viktor Gyökeres is yet to bang a goal for his new side, we should not put the new signing under pressure because he has more way to go and wouldn't be the main cause why the club experience defeats, moreover it's friendly games.

The reality is that for Gyokeres to be successful in the Premier League is never guaranteed, he will definitely have to work hard in the Premier League, Portuguese League is never the Premier League, the intensity in Premier League is quite different, I wonder why some football fans are talking about Victor Gyokeres scoring so many goals do you really think he is going to have the same number in the Premier League? Well you should know that He hasn’t scored any goals against the big opponents in the Portuguese league like Benfica and Porto he will not be getting anything for free in the Premier league, come to think of it, Saka will want to score goals and Martinelli will want to scores goals as well, This players will want to drive in and make that attempt on the post to score a goal.

Opening games should not be left to the favourites  the bookies give us 

Personally,  am not impressed with what I have seen from the few Arsenal games and their signings have shown, and for this reason I wouldn't be backing them on this one...lets flip the script and go for the rejuvenated Manchester United as anything is possible with opening matches.

Manchester United has made some interesting changes in their attacking line this summer. Mbeumo and Cunha... I'm really curious about what they will do. You know how unproductive this team were last season.

Arsenal has made many more signings so far. We will find out which side will step forward this time. There is no clear favourite for sure.

That's quite a generous odds for someone who's going to start and to make sure he impresses the fans also. Sure the bookmakers are also falling and judging him based on his last two preseason games. Preseason form doesn't count.

There are still a few days left for the new season to start, in which we will see teams and their players with good performance. The performance of these players should be kept at the top because it will prove to be better for their club. All these teams should prepare themselves fully so that they do not become weak in the end and with such strength they will be able to play very well in the season. This should also happen because they play honestly for their team, which will make them successful. Right now we are seeing their strength, how they are building themselves and after the season starts, we will be able to judge it properly. One of the main reason why Arsenal buy him because when still playing on Sporting Gyökeres consistent can scores goals for each season but after moved to Arsenal he has to prove to the Arsenal fans that he deserves to be in this team but indeed he carries a heavy burden on his shoulders because Arsenal fans are put high expectation to him but i think it's very unfair to compare his performance in the friendlies games especially Gyökeres has just made his debut in that game so i assume why Gyökeres still hasn't showing his best because he still required time to adapt

I remember when Darwin Nunez came to Liverpool he did well in Pre season than Haaland but now both can be compared.

In regarding Benjamin Sesko I still don't know if he will flop or do pretty well is stat doesn't speak much of him but let's see.

United needs to get trusted and tested strikers because to me sesko is a gamble because I am one person that was not too impressed with sesko performance at Leipzig because he was not that consistent maybe United is looking at the long term basis if not United should have gone for a much experienced player

I see a good opportunity to make money in the match between Manchester United vs Arsenal. There is a big difference between the two clubs in terms of current performance. Arsenal is undoubtedly a team that has performed better than Manchester United, so for now, I think Arsenal will win against Manchester United in this first match of the Premier League. I will bet on Arsenal but with a little less money, although according to my prediction, Arsenal will win that match, I still don't want to risk so much money at the beginning. Since it is the beginning of the season, I will first observe the performance and then when I get an idea about the performance of the two teams, I can bet with a bigger amount later.

Don't put your hope so much on Gyokeres as a new striker of Arsenal. His performance in pre-season may be giving us an insight about what's gonna happen to him in his first season. I believe that's the strong reason why bookies gave Arsenal more than 2.

Also they always struggled to beat United in their last two games against MU. It makes sense to bet on BTTS instead of picking Arsenal, though they have greater chance to win.

Other than BTTS, Total Over 2.5 seems good too.

Chelsea are currently taking on Bayern leverkusen and so far no In the first half the world champions have took total dominance in this match, they are currently leading 1-0 at the bridge, a goal from Estaveo. The only issue here is Arsenal should just pray this guy doesn't flo here at English premier League, because if he does then Arsenal should be very much ready for the taunt ahead, talking of adaptation I think not all players need that to perform well, or maybe majority of them need time to adapt, because when halaand came in he played like he's been playing in EPL before same as Bruno Fernandez, etc they all don't need time to adapt simply because the hype was not that of Victor Gyokeres, so they took their time to do what they are good at, but the fact is they should just pray he doesn't flop because we've seen so many similar case like his.

Everyone just talking about Gyokeres as if Arsenal didn't have goal scorers before Gyokeres came. This is the Premier League not the Portuguese league where he got many opportunities and scored goals, the premier league might humble him especially the starting stages of the league. We should not forget what happened to Kylian Mbappe when he joined Real Madrid, we expected him to start scoring immediately but it took him time to adapt and start scoring. The Arsenal versus Manchester United match will probably end in a draw because both teams have equipped their squad and from how they have played the preseason games, i don't think there will be anything different that will come out from both teams, besides this is just the first match of the season, everyone will play with carefulness not to sustain an early injury.

I'm not sure how things are going to looks like but Arsenal are going to eat good this season, Chelsea will also take the same place and so are Liverpool and Manchester City. If this four teams are sealing this position tightly then Manchester United will have to do something this teams can't do but looking at their under performance through out the season, I don't think there is much to say now because even the friendly match loos so fun, nothing serious to see.

The way you put it is very interesting because I would put Chelsea in first place as the Possible first place and Winner of the next PL , if and only if they Maintain the same style of play that they promoted in the Club World Cup, I would see City and Aston Villa in bad Shape , at the Same time I would like to see Newcastle's Resurgence and that they could get into the fight for the UCL Places, a 4th place for Newcastle would not be bad at all.
