You are right. Manchester City may be strong. But compared to Arsenal or Liverpool, Manchester city will be a bit  behind. I do not consider Manchester City as the favorite to win the Premier league title.

I don’t think Manchester city will b able to win the premier league this season, Manchester city performance has dropped drastically, and am not expecting anything from them this season. Manchester city are struggling right now, the season is just starting and Manchester city already lost two matches, and they had a draw, that’s really a poor start for a team like Manchester city, with the way Manchester city are playing this season, they are going to struggle before they will be able to secure champions league spot, because am not really satisfied with their performance this season.

Liverpool is  considered the most favorite. And then Chelsea and Arsenal. Manchester City is now in ninth place in the table after winning only  2 matches out of 5 matches. Manchester City is 8 points behind Liverpool.

Seriously Liverpool is just my favorite to win the premier league this season, their performance has been good this season, I just hope they going to continue with their good performance, and they going to work on their defense, Liverpool defense is kind of weak to me, which is making them concede easily in matches.

With the way things are going I don't think Manchester city will be able to lift the trophy this season and may end up not making the top four at last while a different team like Manchester united may make it to the best four at the end of the  season. The Red Devils couldn't beat their opponent away for 3 years... I can't say these teams started this season much different in terms of statistics. The main difference is 3 points now.

Yeah, 2.08 looks like a trap to me. United have not won away in the league since March, and in London they are virtually allergic to defeats (3 wins in 24 is atrocious). Brentford, they have their own troubles, all right, but every single point this season was made at home. United already had two nightmares on this ground: the 4-0 in 2022 and the 4-3 last year. What I find worrying is that United numbers shout that they should be converting better (xG leader, most shots) when in reality, the lowest conversion rate. That is finishing confidence problem. Being suspended may even be beneficial to Casemiro, as it gives him an added incentive to push up the field rather than babysitting the midfield. United might only end the streak, should he get his rhythm in the last third. Personally, though, I would not touch those odds

Arsenal was superior to Manchester City by far, this Manchester City is not longer what it was, Guardiola cant find the path to follow and i start to think he cant find the correct players to develop his way of playing, he is in BIG trouble right now, all his glass castle is falling apart.

I hope to see him leaving, we have enough of him there.

Tbh Manchester City are a bit below their performance level of three seasons ago while Arsenal have improved in all areas and are doing better than the once invincible Manchester City side lately. I also feel Guardiola is close to departing from City as each match week goes by. He is slowly losing his magic touch and this could speed up his departure.

Arteta’s decision to start games against top clubs in the league has eventually sparked criticism and mixed reactions amongst the club supporters. I think Arteta needs to grow some balls and field the right players and stop worrying and thinking too much about conceding goals. The problem Arsenal face now against tough opponents is as a result of a lack of creativity and good thing they have creative players now so why leave them on the bench and start players who cannot get the ball up front and create good chances for Gyokeres?

I observed previous season Arteta played more defensive game although the club never had a striker at that moment so I get the point after succeeding in scoring goals they play a nice defense. This time is different, Arteta now has the right players with potential and I also think he lacks the strategic pattern to play with the players I guess with time he’ll learn a good pattern. When Manchester United played against Arsenal, same mistake happened luckily Manchester United could not score else  the match would’ve ended draw and same thing happened with Liverpool, If they continue this way even with top players they might likely not win any trophy this season.

I don't like arsenal and arteta because how on earth is he still in arsenal because he had been finding it very hard to manage the club because even the defensive pattern that he was trying adapt and that kind of pattern is not something that arsenal is use to and this happened when he acquired saliba and you don't have attackers you want to use so it is better to play according to the resources that are available.

And my problem with arteta is that he does not know how to make use of his player and that his what is affecting the performance of the club and arsenal deserves better because arsenal have lost so much opportunity and all this I'd as a result to arteta not managing the club. Because arteta is one of the people that killed saka career because he was he was always using him no rotation he wants saka to play every game and that affected the performance of the club. And I don't even them doing anything different again because that opportunity is going to be hard to come by.

Talking about manchester city not making a good signing, whether they make a good signing or not so long as they're new faces in thier squad of course that's what matters. We don't care if the players are capable or not, if I may ask did they have pep Guardiola's face covered during the transfer market? I'm sure that the answer is no, so is assume that he saw a good potential in those players that he bought during the transfer market. And mind you every coach has its own way of buying players, there are some coaches that like building players by themselves and while most coaches like going for already made. So is just a personal decision, you can't start judging him for now I think he knows what he's doing.

He has to get it right this season and win something because the owners of the club and the supporters have given him enough time and invested sufficiently in him to expect results this season. He has to win something to add to Arsenal's trophy cabinet. The many option of players that he has may make selections difficult to make, but that is something he has to be master on the job because the season is just starting and he has to make sure that he gives each players the time to play so he can have his best team for the serious games.

Despite what people may say right now because of how City have been struggling and Arsenal playing better you still can’t compare Arteta to Guardiola. This is what I'm wondering about their away game against Crystal Palace this Saturday. As a reminder, currently they are the only other team with no losses except Liverpool in the league so far...  

They have even conceded only 2 goals in 5 games. Their defenders are in a really good shape. I wonder what Arne Slot's plan will be to break their solid defense. I think Liverpool will lose points finally this week.

Could this also be the last week of Crystal Palace unbeaten streak?

Bit then again, as a Manchester United fan,  I would want and love to see the downfall 9f Liverpool this weekend. Let's not forget Arne Slot has found it difficult to win Crystal Palace during the last two meetings they've met themselves. Will I be surprised to see yet another defeat? No! Pep Guardiola has actually made many changes to the squad, but I think this will all take time. Overall, Manchester City's strength is now very strong. Aston villa got their first win of the season in their Europa league fixture against bologna, it was a game they struggled to control but at the end they got the win, well they really need to build on that momentum now as they host Fulham this weekend. Villa have just manage to pick just 3 points in 5 premier league games which is very bad considering the quality of players they have. Let just hope with that 1-0 win over bologna they have found a solution to their problems.

Fulham is a very good and tricky side, and I won’t be surprised if they walked out of villa park with all 3 points, the last time both side played at villa park Fulham lost  1-0 so let see how it goes this weekend if Fulham can take advantage of villa poor foam.

It is true that Manchester City have not been the best of form from last season uptil now, but to be honest I have seen quite a lot of improvement from them in recent times, and with the quality of players they have brought in into the club, there's a high probability that in not distance time they will be ready to challenge for the English premier League title. Right now I feel that they are not ready because they brought in so many players into the team and some of them still needs time to adapt to the English premier League, so I wouldn't be too harsh on them for now because most of the new players are still getting to know how to play and get used to PEP guardiola's playing pattern, but it is after 15 games of the season that's when I will be sure to know if they come compete for the English premier League title or not.
But no matter what, I still sees pep guardiola's Manchester city as a formidable Force in the English premier League.

Having stats showing that in a very long time Manchester United have not recorded a back to back win raises my doubt for this game. I would like to think that United are slowly getting back to winning ways but after one win I begin to wonder if they will be able to do it one more time and to think that they will be facing Brentford away takes my doubts to the roof honestly but we will see.
