If you evaluate very well you will understand what Arteta is trying to avoid. He doesn't want to repeat the mistakes that he has been making for years now. That is, using same players for every match and competition thereby making them worn out at the 11th hour.
If Arteta can manage his rotation very well, it will give him some lifelines during the ending of the season.
Let's trust he will get it right this time around.

He has to get it right this season and win something because the owners of the club and the supporters have given him enough time and invested sufficiently in him to expect results this season. He has to win something to add to Arsenal's trophy cabinet. The many option of players that he has may make selections difficult to make, but that is something he has to be master on the job because the season is just starting and he has to make sure that he gives each players the time to play so he can have his best team for the serious games.

That's just it, he has to get it right this season else it will go worse than this. No doubt, he has made good signings recently, and this players surely will bring quality to the team. I don't also have a problem with his style of rotation of players in different matches, at least he has a handful of them, he should use them, after all, they are all good. But then, he should know the right one to use at a given point in time and ensure Victory.

Good thing he has realised that it's fatigue that cost them league few seasons ago, and now he has ejected new and credible players to the squad, we are hoping it all counts for joy. Arteta has been given enough time, he and his players should deliver and bring home at least a major trophy. For me, I would prefer he changes his defensive tactics a bit and go for goal the more, especially when he is up against big teams. I believe more goal opportunities will be created if he chases for goals rather than seat back in defence and been careful not to concede while hoping or planning a counter attack strategy to score. This pattern cost them the game against Liverpool, even city game too and man United inclusive, if not that they were lucky to get the header. Something has to be done quickly else it will be yet another regret season for them.

Having stats showing that in a very long time Manchester United have not recorded a back to back win raises my doubt for this game. I would like to think that United are slowly getting back to winning ways but after one win I begin to wonder if they will be able to do it one more time and to think that they will be facing Brentford away takes my doubts to the roof honestly but we will see.

Could this be the week Liverpool's winning streak to end?

This is what I'm wondering about their away game against Crystal Palace this Saturday. As a reminder, currently they are the only other team with no losses except Liverpool in the league so far...  

They have even conceded only 2 goals in 5 games. Their defenders are in a really good shape. I wonder what Arne Slot's plan will be to break their solid defense. I think Liverpool will lose points finally this week.

I really it does! Liverpool have been on a high flying start this season winning all five-week games so far this season. As a rival, nothing will make me happier me than seeing them lose or draw against Crystal Palace in the weekend. Crystal Palace have the ability to inflict pain on Liverpool, they also seem to have understood Liverpool and their playing pattern. I really hope to see Liverpool’s streak come to an end.

Manchester United always end up disappointing people. I don’t know what exactly their problem is. I also will not advise betting on them, as you might end up in regret. It’s hard to say though, but most times when you have hope in Manchester United, that is when they will disappoint you. From all I will say, this game of theirs against Brentford might end in a draw. I don’t have that much hope that Manchester United will be able to win the game, because their performance is just getting poorer. Although, maybe they will surprise us as they did with Chelsea in the previous game.

Manchester City may be strong. But compared to Arsenal or Liverpool, Manchester city will be a bit  behind. I do not consider Manchester City as the favorite to win the Premier league title. Liverpool is  considered the most favorite. And then Chelsea and Arsenal. Manchester City is now in ninth place in the table after winning only  2 matches out of 5 matches. Manchester City is 8 points behind Liverpool.

That is what happened last season as well. Liverpool and Arsenal was better and City ended up behind them, I am expecting the same thing this season as well. But that is okay, because they are making so many moves and building a new team around the old system and it takes time for players to get used to it.

So when they do, they are going to be better and will not have these type of results, they should be considering a few years as expense and not win and then they are going to be better. I would say they are going to be better this season than last season, and next season will be better than this season. When you are improving like that, becoming the champions again isn't off the table and could happen as soon as next season.

These Wilson Isidor type of thing really makes the prices go up so much. These type of players end up with a good season, score a bunch of goals, and bigger teams just pay a shit ton of money to get them. It didn't happen to Vardy, but it does happen to a lot of people. Like look at Mbuemo or Sesko, how many goals do they have in the past 5 years? Not much, they just have good year (Sesko hasn't even had that yet) and they end up with a lot of high fee to be sold.

This should be the troublesome. If you do this, then nothing else changes, if you do that and keep paying a lot for players who had just one good season, you will fail. I hope this dude doesn't go to some other team for 80 million and fail like many others did, and just stay at his level.

You are absolutely right! The market inflation issue is something that needs to be addressed but no one is saying anything about it and some clubs are certainly suffering because of this. If he eventually finishes the season on a consistent high performance level it is certain that clubs coming for him will have to pay an outrageous price for his signature, something needs to be done to address this situation.

  I can see that you are an Arsenal fan because it is only Arsenal fan that are rivals to Liverpool this season you want Liverpool to draw so Arsenal can have more chance to top the league this season, I really don't think Crystal Palace can draw the match with Liverpool the reason is because Liverpool is so informed and very determine to lift this season league title again, I was expecting Arsenal to win man city in their last match but they ended up drawing with them which is not want I expected form them, for them to be able to lift the premier League title this season they need to work extra hard because Liverpool is not even ready to back down, for me I believe Liverpool will win Crystal Palace and I will also bet Liverpool to win and I'm sure the prediction will enter and I will win some money

After the long waited Ballon D’or ceremony yesterday 3 premier league players came out in the top 10 ranked players of the year. Mohammed Salah, cole Palmer and new Manchester city goal keeper Donnarumma well all in the Top 10. Honestly I have been impressed with cole Palmer making the top 10 list, he was without champions league football last season and still manage to make the top 10 list, the last player that made that list without a champions league football was Neymar.

Mohammed salah continues to be in the top 10 as always, he has been consistent and that why he is in that list. I really hope a premier league player will win it next, we know the premier league is very though and to dominate the league and the champions league in the same season is always hard.

Congratulations to Dembele on winning the 2025 Ballon D’or.

Cole Palmer has been his team's best player and his led them to the Conference League trophy and as well as the just concluded Club World Cup trophy and in that process was the best player of the tournament, I believe that's what added to his increased number of points in the voting. Me too, one of these seasons, I just hope Salah will have an incredible season where he will outperform all other players and at the same time, lead Liverpool to the league and Champions League trophy, that will really go a long way in cementing and giving him a nice shot at the award.

We all hope a premier league player wins it next year or soon. I don’t know about Cole Palmer but we have Salah, Haaland who can competitively compete for the award. I feel it’s about that time players from the premier league win the ballon d’Or more often and I’m happy that Rodri won it last year. Again congratulations to Dembele, his achievements should stand as prove and inspiration to younger generations to believe that they can achieve whatever they want to in any space.

For the last four past matches has not easy on  Chelsea club side, which the previous match they against Manchester United is was cleared to Chelsea club and the fans that they all believed that they are going win Manchester United for their home because Manchester United has been battling for the past two seasons to stand united as their implies, but it was so shocking to see that Manchester United happen to win Chelsea in their home which was a big win for Manchester United, so this week Chelsea is playing against Brighton and with the lost Chelsea club had previously I'm counting on Chelsea to be able to win Brighton over 2 goals.

Arsenal was superior to Manchester City by far, this Manchester City is not longer what it was, Guardiola cant find the path to follow and i start to think he cant find the correct players to develop his way of playing, he is in BIG trouble right now, all his glass castle is falling apart.

Arsenal is a good team and has the best players as well. Arsenal perform very well to prove themselves as the best. And I think it takes too much effort and struggles to maintain the position and keep themselves strong. Because in this era of competition and talent it is very difficult not to leave the place. But if we talk about Manchester city they are a team having the best specialities. But maintaining the best is more difficult than having the best. Manchester city failed to perform in the best way they can do. But the main point is that Manchester City dropped their performance a lot. Aston villa got their first win of the season in their Europa league fixture against bologna, it was a game they struggled to control but at the end they got the win, well they really need to build on that momentum now as they host Fulham this weekend. Villa have just manage to pick just 3 points in 5 premier league games which is very bad considering the quality of players they have. Let just hope with that 1-0 win over bologna they have found a solution to their problems.

Fulham is a very good and tricky side, and I won’t be surprised if they walked out of villa park with all 3 points, the last time both side played at villa park Fulham lost  1-0 so let see how it goes this weekend if Fulham can take advantage of villa poor foam. 

Aston villa has struggled since the beginning of the season and I still wonder why they struggling. They did not make a lot of changes to the team and they still have a lot of good players. Aston villa last season was know for scoring goals, but this season they have struggled to score goal. It's a good one that they against Bologna yesterday, but that was not a convincing win.
They will be hosting Fulham this weekend and if they continue this way they might lose the match, because Fulham are in a very fine format and they have been scoring goals. I really don't see Aston villa winning this match, so I will rather bet on goals.

I think if Sanchez hadn't received a red card early in the match, they wouldn't have lost this match. I think they should beat Brighton because they need to get back into the top four, and while Brighton are a good team, they're dangerous at home and have had inconsistent results away from home. A win is important for Chelsea, but they also have a game against Benfica, so if Chelsea manages to win, I think it will be a narrow victory. Everyone expected Chelsea to get off to a better start, especially after beating PSG in the final, but they're not playing so well right now.

I listened to a podcast and one of the analysis suggest that their momentum just got fucked over by their failure to participate in the UCL this season. It's a mentality thing, and they didn't really do a good job of rejuvenating their forwards/attacking players either. I think that makes sense. You need time to recover after a terrible result, especially when the disappointment is so big. It's not as easy as saying "let's do it again", even if you're a pro athlete.

I think this situation comes from the fact that Manchester City hasn’t made good signings for a few seasons now.
Arsenal and Liverpool have both strengthened their squads this year with new transfers, raising their quality even higher, while Manchester City has stayed very quiet and fallen far behind those two teams.
It’s very hard to expect success from a team that doesn’t reinforce its squad—especially in the Premier League, where there are so many strong opponents.

Talking about manchester city not making a good signing, whether they make a good signing or not so long as they're new faces in thier squad of course that's what matters. We don't care if the players are capable or not, if I may ask did they have pep Guardiola's face covered during the transfer market? I'm sure that the answer is no, so is assume that he saw a good potential in those players that he bought during the transfer market. And mind you every coach has its own way of buying players, there are some coaches that like building players by themselves and while most coaches like going for already made. So is just a personal decision, you can't start judging him for now I think he knows what he's doing.

I don’t think M.City fans want to wait either, just like me. Other teams have strengthened their squads a lot, but what has Man City done this summer? Honestly, nothing.

Despite that I still believe Liverpool is still with their luck of winning, and again I don't think they will give crystal palace that room again after the community shield, I believe it will be a pay back time for them from Liverpool, and again since everyone is expecting crystal palace to stop Liverpool from their streak win I believe that might not happen trust me the team that will took point from Liverpool will be an unexpected team and every bad will be very much surprise that day, so this weekend game I'm trusting on Liverpool to win.

Aston Villa won against Bologna in the Europa League match. But Aston Villa's performance does not seem to have been very strong. So it is foolish to expect too much from Aston Villa in the upcoming matches of the Premier League.

I really support Chelsea's decision to rest Palmer. He gets groin injury, and it's can only be fixed by taking the rest a bit longer. He has played in any game since last season, and also not enough rest due to the CWC. He really deserves it to ensure his groin injury won't be worsen.

I guess he's shattered after he only took short term break after CWC. Resting him for several weeks better instead of forcing him to play, but he gets surgery in the end.

I also think his injury is obviously forcing their attacking investment to step up even faster. Speedy recovery Palmer.

Chelsea doesn't look better than City to me, I feel like Chelsea will not have a good season this year, and that is understandable and not a big deal, it happens. They are a team filled with players, still trying to get rid of so many of them and even though they are getting so many players, I would say they are still missing two very important parts. It is a goalkeeper and a striker. If they end up being bad at those two positions, no matter how great rest of the squad looks, they will always suck.

Right now they do not have an elite level goalkeeper or striker, they could have bought so many during the summer, but decided not to on all cases. So, it is normal for them to end up with these results that is not good.
