Looking at the Netherlands game, it looks like they might set a maximum target of 220 runs to South Africa.

They were 43/3 at one stage, they are now 201/7 which is a good comeback by Netherlands. Scott Edwards as a captain took the responsibility and scored 64 runs. He got his first half-century in the World Cup, and he might get his first century but on the other side, wickets are falling down. This is some recovery by the Netherlands. They played exceptionally well and set a target of 246 runs to SA. At one stage, they were 112/6 in 27 overs, and I was expecting a target of below 200 after 43 overs, but their lower order played brilliantly, especially Edwards for his 78 runs. A little show from Aryan Dutt put them in a very good position. If rain doesn't interrupt the play, we will witness a thriller. After rain stop, South Africa won toss and elected bowl first. Netherlands start not to much good and their batsman fall down quickly. Now batting of Netherlands team ended and they scored 245 runs in 43 overs by losing 8 wickets. 7 overs has been reduced due to interrupted of rain and now South Africa will chase down this normal target of 246 runs target in 43 overs. I think this not a big challenge for South Africa team to chase down this target. Beginning of match, starter players of Netherlands team played worst. At 95 runs, Netherlands lost their 5 wickets and 25 overs had been also passed. I thought that their all players dismissed at 150 to 170 runs. But this was not happen. They lost four wickets early but the skipper maintained an edge and did not concede too many wickets to the South African bowlers thereafter. South Africa is a big team and they expect to win against Netherlands but as a small team if they win a match then it would be as happy as they win the World Cup so I want Netherlands bowlers to bowl well and they win this match against South Africa.

As far as I understand, some of the matches played poorly despite good conditions due to rain. However, Netherlands are playing very well in the beginning but from your run rate it is clear that Netherlands is doing very well in the last 5 overs. At the end of 38 overs, the Netherlands were making 181 runs, losing 7 wickets. Compared to that, they are making 64 runs in the last 5 overs, losing 1 wicket. South Africa need CRR: 5.70 in 43 overs to win. South Africa has not lost a single match. So it can be said that you will win this match because you have the highest chance of winning by playing with Target. South Africa's first 5 batting players will play very well. So Netherlands need to fall wickets to win.

The Netherlands batters did well to come back into the game, but that does not mean their bowlers will be able to defend a target of 246. Considering the form South African batters are in, it would be easy for them to chase. Take a look at the current scoreboard, the South African batters are already galloping toward the target with a run rate of 4.22, and the asking run rate is 5.90. Initial overs are meant to understand the pitch and then utilize batting skills to achieve the goal. I don't think the Netherlands would be able to defeat the South African team.

LOL.. this is just crazy. South Africa are struggling at 44/4 after 11.4 overs. Netherlands set up a target of 246 BTW (from 43 overs). South Africa had started well and they were 36/0. For 8 runs they managed to lose 4 wickets, with Paul van Meekeren and Roelof van der Merwe picking up the wickets. BTW, the required run rate has crept up to 6.5 runs per over. There is still a lot of depth in South African batting order, with Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller out there, and Marco Jansen yet to come. But if they lose one more wicket, then they will be in trouble.

South Africa's batting performance today looks like they are batting in most desperation and under a lot of pressure. While South Africa won their first two matches by huge margins that too with strong teams. There today with a team like Netherlands, South Africa lost 4 wickets in just 12 overs which is really sad for the team. The South African batsmen have been so poor that where they have scored centuries in other matches, they have been dismissed quickly today. The target given by the Netherlands is probably under a lot of pressure to meet them, if South Africa cannot sustain their pair in today's match, they will surely lose. There is still time if the South African batsmen can hold on to the game and win. But the bowling performances of the Netherlands in today's match are extraordinary due to which the South African batsmen are not able to survive at the crease. However, it is very difficult to predict which team will win today's match as there is enough fight between the two teams at the moment, so it is not possible to predict which team will win today.

South Africa is in a really tough situation as this is the last recognized batting pair and one more wicket here in this situation means they are doomed and we will see yet another upset in this World Cup.

Another wicket is down, Heinrich Klaasen is gone and it is survival mode for South Africa as it is becoming an impossible target to chase.

It was 44/4, and now they have crawled to 80/4, thanks to a 5th wicket partnership between Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller. But they should be careful here. One more wicket and then they are down to the bowling allrounders (Marco Jansen and Keshav Maharaj). Both Aryan Dutt and Roelof van der Merwe are bowling beautifully at this point. The required run rate is still around 6.3 per over, and that is a big relief for South Africa. If both Klaasen and Miller can stay there for another 15 overs, then they can win this match with ease.

This is  a huge upset that too by netherlands against a historically strong cricket nation

its a big big win for the minor nations and a  perhaps a  big rivalty brewing as less than a year ago netherlands beat south africa to kick them out of  the T20 world cup. Doing it again!?!?

Not anymore, South Africa lost their only hope in Miller as he was clean bowled with an incredible delivery, never thought we would see an upset from Netherlands against South Africa and the odds were crazy high throughout the match, they defeated South Africa last year in the T20 World Cup but this is a real humiliation in ODI as Netherlands never defeated a full member team and they are creating history here.

South Africa now need 101 runs from just 72 balls to win. Netherlands lost the toss and went into bat first. But with a very poor start and a very good end, Netherlands collected 245 runs for 8 wickets. I initially thought the Netherlands would easily lose to South Africa in today's match. But the current batting performance of South Africa seems to be very different between South Africa of yesteryear and South Africa of today. It is amazing to think how this South Africa is going to lose to Netherlands today after winning two out of two matches in this World Cup. South Africa are currently 145 runs short of a target of 246 for the loss of 7 wickets. South Africa need 101 runs from 72 balls to win today's match. If South Africa have enough wickets at the moment, this run may not matter.  Africa doesn't have enough wickets at the moment, I think South Africa will definitely lose to Netherlands in this match.
