So it's early days.
Just to explain, three days have been "practice days - I haven't done a push up for more than a decade (at least!). I've done a few more than just ten, but I'm ready to have my pushups counted.
My pushups are still rusty with a lift shoulders off the ground then lift. Hopefully, very soon I'll get the knees off the ground too.
Feedback is appreciated.
Your push-up will be counted since you have reported it here with the push-up reporting format, and your push-up report is okay. Even though you haven't done push-ups for more than 10 decades, do not worry; we are here to provide any help that will help you improve in your push-up if you need any help. Just try and maintain 10 push-ups in a set for two weeks to get your body back on track to do push-ups, and you can increase your push-ups when you notice you are improving at doing push-ups.

Greetings everyone.
The last post I made here I said I will drop my report that evening but I couldn't start the pushups because there was a lot of things I needed to know before I could start. So as I begin this great challenge I will love to ask some questions which I believe old members in this challenge may have answers to.
1. Where Should I Position My Hands, Arms and Shoulders?
2. Will I lose weight if I follow the hundred pushups plan?
3. Should my chest touch the floor on the down phase of the pushup?
4. Can I pause between pushups if I feel tired?
5. What is the correct method for breathing during pushups?
6. Which is Better – Slow or Fast Pushups?
7. How Effective Are Pushups?
Doing push ups is actually quite simple, but even though it is simple, you still have to learn the skill well. Because if this knowledge is not studied well then the results will not be optimal and it is prone to injury. So it is very appropriate if you find out first or study the knowledge before starting to do push ups. Here I will answer the questions you ask, based on the experience and knowledge I have studied for a long time. 1. For regular push ups, usually the arms should be placed parallel to the shoulders and the hands should not be opened too wide. because regular push ups or regular push ups aim to enlarge the middle and side chest muscles. Then for Diamond push ups, the arms are usually placed parallel to the solar plexus, because Diamond push ups function to enlarge the middle chest muscles. However, you could say that you are still a beginner in the field of push ups, so I recommend doing standard push ups first. If you are used to doing standard push ups, then after that you can try Diamond push ups (the point is to do it gradually). 2. Your weight will initially decrease if you do push ups regularly, because the fat levels in your body will definitely be burned. But don't worry, in a few weeks your weight will return to normal, and of course with a better body, that is, not with fat but with muscle mass. So the most important thing is that you have to be consistent in doing push ups. 3. No need, for the initial stage just do push ups according to your ability level (don't force it). Even if you can't do regular push ups, you can do push ups with your knees bent. So with your knees bent it will definitely make the push ups feel lighter. So basically, the first time you do push ups, you should only do them as hard as you can. Because if you push yourself too hard, you could risk injury. 4. Very possible, because rest is also a very important part. Because when you do push ups, and if for example the next day you are unable to do push ups, then you have to rest first. Because your muscles need rest to recover. 5. Inhale as you go down (slow inhale) and exhale (quick exhale) as you push up. This is useful for maximizing the energy that can be released as well as for practicing breathing. 6. Actually, fast or slow push ups, both have their uses. Because if you want to increase muscle mass (bigger), then doing push ups slowly is the answer. However, if you want to train your stamina or train your heart, then doing push ups with a fast rhythm is the answer. So basically push ups with a fast or slow rhythm are both very effective for their respective purposes. 7. In my personal opinion, push ups are very effective, because by doing push ups, we can form or train a lot of muscles using only the body weight we have. Such as being able to train the chest, back, triceps, forearm and wing muscles. So I think push ups are a very multipurpose sport. And this is my push up report. 100K,Gallar,83,16089,2024-06-16

I am glad to see that you are joining in.. and yeah, I personally believe that your pushups should not be included in the table until you are able to average at least 10 pushups per day.. which I have frequently made the same assertion, which I believe is member neutral... though I do see that DirtyKeyboard's script has not yet excluded your results from the table, even though they are way below 10 pushups per day (3.33 to be precise). Of course, you can do various moderation in terms of pushups, so that you do not have to do regular/full pushups, such as doing your pushups from your knees or doing inclined pushups as philipma had described earlier in the thread where he did his pushups on the stairs where his hands were on the higher rungs of the stairs. Another way to do moderated pushups might be to do them against the wall, so maybe if you can think of some way of moderating your pushups that works for you, then maybe try to do 8-10 pushups per set for maybe up to 3 sets per day spread out through the whole day and then work your way up to more and more difficult kinds of pushups where maybe someday down the road you might be able to do 8-10 or even more full regular pushups in each of your sets. So one thing when you are beginning to do something like pushups is that you want to make what you are doing something that you can do within a reasonable form, but at the same time to make the pushups so that they are not overly easy, and you are likely going to get sore for a week, two weeks or even longer if you keep doing pushups regularly. I personally have mostly been sore the whole time that I have been doing these pushups and within this challenge, which is 132 days for me so far, so it surely hurts me and I frequently don't want to do my daily pushups, but I make myself do them and to get started each time, and I can do more pushups without getting as sore as I used to do but I also frequently need to psych myself up before doing the pushup sets each time and even to purposefully breath heavily while doing my pushups and sometimes even grunt at various times in order to help me more to psych myself into being able to do the pushups... I am not going to claim that doing the daily pushups are easy, even if they have become somewhat easier after doing them for a while, and even if you are doing modified pushups (especially in the beginning) which are supposed to be easier by design to help you get your quantity of pushups up to something like 8-10 pushups per set, you are still likely going to need to work your way up to more difficult varieties of pushups such as being able to do full pushups and try to stay persistent with your pushups and also try not to make your pushups so hard that you end up injuring yourself or discouraging yourself from doing them (and/or being able to reach personal goals), so especially in the beginning while you are still getting used to pushups and building up your quantity (and perhaps quality too), it is better to error a little bit on the side of going easy on yourself while your body is getting used to adding these new exercises to your daily routine, and if you are able to try to make sure that you eat well and you sleep well too, then those kinds of purposeful activities of choosing healthy activities may also contribute to your strength and your morale building in terms of being able to do whatever quantity and quality of pushups that you are able to do.. and hopefully you can get up to an average of 10 per day in order to get included in the table. Edited: last two paragraphs to make more clear

Just try to do a little often. Don’t worry about doing a lot. Even if you can’t do a push-up, maybe just try to support yourself and see how that goes. After a while slowly lower yourself to the ground to create resistance and help strengthen the right muscles. After a while you’ll be able to push yourself back up.

I think you should go all out with doing a full push-up never mind the amount you’re able to successfully accomplish right now as you’ll only get better with consistency actually speaking from experience. I wish you all the luck needed and encourage you to try out a full on push-up no matter the number you’ll be amazed at your growth and how your body adjusts to accommodate your new routine. Yes it's of important as most stiffness of the body parts are as a result of not regular exercise many complain of back pain and inability to stand erect due to the spinal cord issue, easily tired after little or no work , typical result of lack of exercise I realized that my back that I hardly bend down is in it best shape now with this push up as I use the process to bend my waist and try to do what I can do in stretching the muscle and the body generally. Welcome Timelord2067. Let's get that average up. You got this! Phew. I just arose from my feinting couch. The weakness, the deserved shame... I was just perusing one of the links in your sig, Timelord2067, and saw that teamsherry and Troytech are self admitted to be the same user and yet they both show up on our pushup table. Thanks for bringing this to my notice, i had never argued or said I Do not have an alt and I'm sure it's not against the forum rules to have one, apologies for any inconvenience this has cost anyone, @jollygood had already given me a neutral tag for having an alt some time ago and I never argued cause I saw no reason to lie about having one, I appreciate you also give me good judgement as someone that doesn't argue about it.
About my account @teamsherry that works for the bitvest signature campaign, please note I do not make stupid post or don't take my time to read before posting, I use my notepad to first type my reply before taking it to the forum to post, so most times I have already written all my replies then I come straight to the forum to post them and I hope that isnt spamming, In my defence i use a phone, its stressful to post with phone so that's just how I do it. Any one that uses a phone can relate.
My plead.
I hope everyone looks at me with a fine eye and good judgement should be passed, I am no spammer and my reply are quality if you look at them, I Don't post rubbish, even the best of us can get tired in making very lengthy post, but I try to make them equal to the character count in my campaign rules, thanks for your good judgement.
Okay, your account was registered on July 5, 2022, at 07:53:59 PM, and this is much earlier than the Teamsherry account. Based on this, you have plagiarism, which you, being an old member of the community, knowingly committed. Does this say that both accounts should be banned? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg64156217#msg64156217Also, I don't think this is your only alt. With all due respect @lovesmayfamilis at this point there is nothing I would say that you would belive i have no other alt but you are wrong in the fact you stated above that I an older member commited plagiarism. Troytech was indeed registered on this forum before teamsherry, but you also forgot that i had already started posting in teamsherry https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5477207.msg63297976#msg63297976 first as anewbie before I even made any post on troytech, the link you gave above was from a mistake I made with teamsherry on December 12 even before I made my first post on troytech https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5121680.msg63388177#msg63388177and the reason I even started posting in troytech was because I assumed the worst for that account and since i was forgiven I decided to use both accounts, troytech started posting on December 26 in this forum after teamsherry had already encountered that issues. My reason as to why it left troytech unattended to was because It was an old account that i didn't even know I had and also I was very new to the forum then and had no zeal to make any post here, and I also remember that you also gave a remark to me when I started posting on troytech as to why I only decided to start making post then. In essence teamsherry had already made that post right before I started posting on troytech and in no way was i an old member, so since my mistake was Parndon in the past and forgiven for teamsherry, I believe that if you look into it you would know I have no lie here and I had never committed plagiarism after knowing forum rules, so I urge you pls review you tag as someone who committed plagiarism cause I think it's a misjudgement. I do trust your judgement I only plead that you look into the matter once again before giving a neutral tag @lovesmayfamilis With all due respect teamsherry or is it Troytech in the room with us? Did each of your alts do their own pushups? 100k,DirtyKeyboard,126,12750

Alright, I got you. Firstly... That's fantastic progress for someone who hasn't done push-ups in over a decade! 💪 You're definitely getting back into the swing of things, and I'm confident that with consistent practice, you'll soon be performing full-range push-ups with ease. Remember, progress is rarely linear, and what matters most is that you're putting in the work to improve. It's okay if your push-ups are a bit rusty at first—just keep at it, and your form and technique will naturally improve over time. Here are a few more tips I've drafted out to help you continue your journey: - **Warm up:** Before you start your push-up routine, make sure to warm up your muscles to prevent injury. Some basic bodyweight exercises, like lunges and squats, can help prepare your body for the workout ahead.( The warm ups aren't any rigorous exercise, 20 seconds jumping jacks should do, you've freed up your muscles). - **Mix up your push-ups:** To challenge your muscles in different ways and prevent boredom, (and muscle imbalance- to some extent )try doing different variations of push-ups, like wide-grip or diamond push-ups. - **Keep your back straight:** Avoid arching your back or letting your hips sag. Keep your core tight and your back straight throughout the movement. If you understand what I'm painting here. - **Breathe:** Exhale as you push up and inhale as you lower back down. This helps maintain proper oxygen flow to your muscles and keeps you focused. - **Start slow:** Don't try to do too many push-ups at once. I don't think anybody would advise against this. It seems pretty basic, but there you go. My little contribution. While push-ups are generally safe, there are a few cautions to keep in mind: - **Injury risk:** If you're new to push-ups or have existing joint issues, start slowly and increase your repetitions gradually to reduce the risk of injury. - **Form:** Poor form can lead to strains and discomfort. Be mindful of your body position and adjust if necessary. (I learned the hard way 😅) - **Muscle imbalance:** Push-ups predominantly target the pushing muscles of the upper body. So try to be volatile. I just hope somebody finds this useful. If you do, just let me know✨ 100k,Kwarkam,73,15180,2024-06-16

Pushups seem to be better for your whole core, especially if you do some variation of full pushups, even if those pushups might be inclined rather than flat... so working on the core probably indirectly can help with posture and even with your back, even though maybe there are some better exercises for back and posture.. There is a kind of exercise that it is like a hyperextend that might be able to be done without any equipment and maybe something like that could be done to supplement pushups if some folks might want to strengthen lower back. https://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/how-to-do-back-extensionsWelcome Timelord2067. With all due respect teamsherry or is it Troytech in the room with us? Did each of your alts do their own pushups? Oh gawd... Hopefully we do not have members who are either doubly counting or engaging in fictitious pushups. All would be fair in love and war if each of the members were to put on his/her own costume or got into to his/her own psychological avatar framework or character to do his/her pushups as long as none of the members are doubly counting such pushups.. otherwise from my own perspective it seems justifiable that each and and all of such members would need to be eliminated or banned from the pushups table absent some kind of a reasonable and acceptable explanation for how the pushups are being done and that such pushups are not being doubly counted in terms of the supposed strengths and weaknesses of each of the characters.. and if "we" might conclude that the actual members are engaging in fictional rather than real results (pushups)... but yeah, we have difficulties knowing these kinds of matters beyond self-reporting and if they self-reporting at least sounds logical and reasonable and there is some kind of need for both self-representations and also a bit of honesty in reporting these pushups.. since many of us are actually engaged in actual and real pushups and "we" do not consider our own actual pushups to be a virtual activity.. In other words, pushups are physical with real world consequences, and if the three characters that are listed here (teamsherry, Troytech and/or Timelord2067) are not double counting their pushups, then personally, I have no problem with each (and all) of them participating in self-reporting of their pushups and each and all of them being included in the pushup table results.. yet if any of these members are double counting any of their pushups or if there might be doubts in regards to if any or all of them are engaging in actual physical pushups rather than in virtual and/or imaginary pushups, then that would not be fair to the rest of us to include those numbers in the pushups table when we are actually doing physical pushups.. as far as any of the information that we have about the members included in the pushups table goes... That's my tentative perspective on the topic of the potentiality of multiple members being the same physical person.. Another thing is that a bot and/or some kind of an AI would also not able to do physical pushups either within the sense that many of us is considering pushups as a physical real world activity, just like an AI is not able to cook a pizza to be in the pizza competition... .. so yeah, hopefully there is a certain level of physicality involved in the content of these pushup reports that involve biological beings rather than imagination... and sure, no problem if some forum members (participating in these pushups) might not be 100% human in the sense of having some metal transplants in their corpuses... Members with some artificial additions to their physical bodies can still be considered a physical being for the purposes of this here pushup challenge. By the way.. @DirtyKeyboard: funny about your precursor of: "with all due respect" ... you must be Canadian.

My pushups are still rusty with a lift shoulders off the ground then lift. Hopefully, very soon I'll get the knees off the ground too.
Feedback is appreciated.
To get your knees off the ground can just be achived by stretching more your legs forward in the right position, now let your abdomen and your hands do the rest of the work just make sure your legs aren't in an extended position.. and then you are good to go AI can actually cook a virtual pizza it just that it sucks in perfection which made it unable to get into the competition... if they truly admit to be same users.. then removing a single participant or maybe just removing both but that depends on the choice considered will be good if not then leaving the table with both of them will be fine .. besides I don't think they've made any new Entry since their last allegations.

Over here was too cooled today, this challenge helped a lot in keeping me strong. I engaged total set of 4, 20 push ups per set and was able to do a total of 80ps, I which I could just have supper powers to do more but as human, limits speaks loud at times. I am glad to burn off some calories sweating while pushing up, frankly this challenge is really healthy and helpful.

If you do, just let me know✨ 100k, kwarkam,73,15180,2024-06-16All good pushup tips on this thread, Just like a medical professional at kwarkam Keep ur back straight, is important to note as to avoid bad posture (likewise injury lying) just imagine building the upper body but bad posture. "progress is rarely linear =That's true for life (progress mostly appears linear only in the head, imagination) @ kwarkam edit ur report to close up space.... Today report $100k,Uhwuchukwu53,16,1200,2024-06-16. [~evidence]
I wish it will be possible i would have suggested we do a live video while doing our pushups to show that we are really doing the exercise but I think It would be kind of stressful cause to an extent I think people are not really doing the pushup and they keep reporting however, i think doing a video of ourselves while doing the pushup won't be necessary cause whether they do it or not it's their own detriment, if not for the fact that some people's name are occupying space on the list, I think they are cheating theirselves for not doing what they claims they are doing.

For merely OPsec reasons it is not reasonable nor practical to expect any kind of photo or video of any forum members, so largely we need to go by the words and/or representations of our fellow forum members.. but it does not hurt to question their words and/or their representations in regards to what they are saying that they are doing, especially if they are describing something that seems more like a fantasy (or a fiction) rather than something that they are actually doing in physical biological corporal reality.

1) Self-Custody is a right. There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted." 2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized. 3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

I've being lagging behind lately based on my recent schedule and other unforseen activity that caught my attention. I wasn't able to complete my 100 pushups today, I only completed 90 after 3 sets under 12 minutes.

Why on earth would someone use their alts on this thread to inflate the push-up count? I don’t know if that is hilarious or sad. I guess maybe it’s a post count thing or trying to get merited? In any event, it is mostly just a waste of their time. They should focus on doing more push-ups instead and get something out of their time.

Speaking of the table, anyone have any new column ideas? I'm looking to shake things up just a bit.
>edit<
I'm also having difficulties trying to figure out what the column would look like but i couldn't find a perfect one but I will try with the following if you might find one interesting. S/N | Username (Alphabetical order) | Daily Push ups | Days in | Expected target | Latest Report | PU/day | Total Push ups | percentage % of total | Days till next digit | Or you can also maintain the old columns but add the following, S/N, Usernames Alphabetically, While you maintain the rest you can put the total push ups to the of the columns while "daily" push ups be in place of total pushups. For the names that might start with numbers you can put them either in the beginning of at the end of alphabetical orders. S/N. Is that a Serial Number? Or is that Starts with Number S/N? Yeah! it's a Serial Number. I suggested the serial number to make it more easier for anyone to see the number of participants on the script. What do you mean by Expected target? For the challenge our expected targets is 100 push ups daily, and 100k BTC price. the expected target is on the report format but not on the script so I suggested we add it. maybe in this format | 100 - 100k | , if it's not ideal you can discard or reframe it in a way it can go with the table. I'm working on the Latest Report column, but still fiddling around. I'm also thinking of it but my problem is I don't really understand what it stands for?!
I'm still maintaining my 110 Push ups every day it's amazing reaching this numbers of push ups with the community, y'all are my inspiration to a new body build. 100k,Churchillvv,129,12540,2024-06-16Why on earth would someone use their alts on this thread to inflate the push-up count?
