100 Push-Ups Per Day Until Bitcoin Is £100K Challenge

Bitcoin has been able to sustain its place above 103k for over 24hours and this is the result of tireless push-ups from bitcoin lovers. As the day go by I see more reasons to intensify my pushups especially now that I don't always leave early every morning.
Being a push-up addict will be a very interesting stage I would love to reach someday. That smile when I hit 140 under three sets of 60, 50 and 30.

Consistent push-ups is a result of discipline. Let's not relapse nor slumber in this exercise due to its numerous importance to the body. Fitness is what everyone needs for daily activities hence this exercise brings about fitness and confidence. I can boldly say that this exercise is gradually reflecting on my biceps and triceps and I can't stop anymore. I made a further progress by going on 120 push-ups in 3 sets of 50, 40 and 30 today.

You are correct; if someone isn't disciplined enough, he or she can't be consistent in doing push-ups every day. We are lucky that a push-up challenge is ongoing in the forum, which will serve as an advantage for us to work on our fitness daily. This push-up challenge even helped me pass a fitness test in the hospital, which I used in the NYSC camp that I went to prove that I am fit enough to do physical exercise in the NYSC camp ground. I'm not surprised by your progress in this push-up challenge because you know what to do to improve yourself in this push-up challenge.

This is not far from the truth. Daily push-ups is very vital when it concerns health fitness. With discipline in push-up, you build a level of endurance required for camping exercises. Many health related issues are owing to inadequate exercise and cholesterol accumulations.
Push-ups tend to burn down body fats while keeping the entire body fit for daily activities.

I usually used it to build the abdominal section by breathing in and out at intervals for stamina and balance .

Good work. Mix other exercises with the pushups to increase the effect on your overall body.

Next up is KWD (Kuwaiti Dinar).  The current price of Bitcoin in KWD is around 41,500. So, there can be plenty of room if Bitcoin does a stretch and crosses £100k soon enough.

Today push-ups was marvelous as i reach a new push-ups number 60,i observed that if you consistent with this  push-ups challenge your number of push-up will be increasing daily.
It is very good to be consistence with your push-ups daily to keep the price of Bitcoin over $100k.

Today I tried a new pattern in setting the push up sets I did according to my conversation with @JayJuanGee yesterday where previously I always stuck to 1 set of 30 push ups but that was not enough to make me get 100 push up results because I was still not too strong for that but for today I was finally able to do 100 push ups a day with 4 sets of 25 push ups.

This is a very good achievement for me because after a month I was finally able to do 100 push ups a day according to the title in this thread. In addition, with 4 sets of 25 push ups it also helps me to be lighter to reach 100 because in the end it's not too taxing on my body and it's not like everyone can't do 100 push ups a day but the pattern is sometimes not correct so it will be difficult to do it.

do that for a while 1 or 2 or 3 weeks. then do 27 x 4 = 108

this is more about a life style change for us.

the goal is to get to a good number and do it over and over and over.

This is my goal and maybe I will get used to this set for a month at most after which I will try to increase the number of push ups for each set although for the number of sets I think I will not change it to just 4 sets in one day but the number of push ups per set will be changed along with the strength that I am able to push up.
But for now the focus will remain on 4 sets x 25 push ups only.

btw the t-shirt I ordered has arrived and I will use this for the push up challenge of course

I could give less than two shits about the British pound....especially in terms of any kind of bitcoin price reference point.  I am not trying to slight on the British, since the pound is surely their national currency and valid in their parts, but the pound is neither a world-wide reference and it has not been our reference point in doing 100 pushups per day in the past 10-ish months.   

You seem to be getting quite distracted OgNasty and losing overall world-wide reference by wanting to opportunistically choose some non-world-wide reference.. Even gold could be a better world-wide standard than using the British pound as a reference.. yet we were not even talking about gold in this thread until recent days.... so even gold (that anarchic shiny rock) is not a good reference. 

On the forum, including the WO thread, which started with dollar prices based on MTGOX dollar prices, we talk about bitcoin valuations in reference to the dollar and we reference Bitstamp as our reference price there and in many other parts of the forum.. since Bitstamp has largely served as a good price reference point and a kind of standard.. until perhaps some better standard were to come along, which no better world-wide price reference has yet come about. 

It seems to me that you don't need to be switching currencies as our pushup thread reference point in order to keep this thread alive.  You also don't need to be retroactively changing history in order to keep this thread alive, especially since we were not talking about pounds in the last 227 pages of this thread until some dumb opportunistic (and perhaps even joking) comments were made in the last day or so.  Why the fuck would we want to start talking about some non-world-wide reference point now and into the future, namely the pound.... fuck the pound.  That is a dumb-ass idea to screw up an otherwise good and solid thread that we have going, and we don't need any dumb changes to keep the thread going, especially if the thread is changing our referenced currency to something nonstandard..

But logically it should be gold kilos. as the thread was always 100k and a k is a kilo.

I think we misinterpreted the 100k as $100,000 usd when indeed it was always meant to be 100kilos of gold.

I think DirtyKeyboard made the best point in that satoshi signed the Genesis block referencing London and the UK Government. It can for that reason be assumed the mention of “100K” in the push-ups email would be in GBP or else he would have specified something different.

Technically the OP's infamous email doesn't reference any other specific currency.  

That is a good catch. Maybe we have misinterpreted the email from satoshi in thinking he was referencing dollars. He could very well have been meaning the price in British Pound Sterling. The current price in GBP is only £83,000.

yeah its achievable in as little as dec 31 but it could take much longer.
 I will likely by at 100 pushup daily average by dec 31 so I am stoked.

But I will be much more happy when we get it right and consider switching it to 100 kilos of gold.

Maybe by dec 2025 we have that conversation.

I know. I feel good about it.  Now that we’re using the currency that satoshi intended I think we have a target for the actual completion of this challenge. At that point we can decide what the next evolution is in store for this thread.

I’m getting in good shape too. This challenge has me targeting other muscle groups with intensity and it is paying off in my daily life. Plus, I’m enjoying my vanilla protein shakes in the morning. It’s like a milkshake for breakfast.

I still have this thread in my watch list and wondered what happened after the 100k mark was hit. I'm happy to see you and the guys are still at it, 100k pounds is around 16k away, so it's not close but also not far. Guess some more pushups can be done until yet another big mark is falling.
Maybe I should take this moment as a reminder that I should do this myself.......ok you convinced me. I'm back in!
