It was nice to see Bitcoin hit $100,000 today but we still have a ways to go before we break the coveted £100,000.
When BTC moved down ward, I was worried about where it would go, but I saw it did not go far. As soon as the price of Bitcoin fell, it recovered and very quickly touched $100k+. The market is going through a bit of instability, and the price of Bitcoin fluctuates. However, I like that Bitcoin has touched its milestone and has gone up again.

I would have liked to do an extra 100 push-ups today but I was a little sore and didn’t find the time.
No problem, brother; our body cannot always take everything similarly. Sometimes, we get physically sick and cannot do anything due to pain or problems due to external reasons. I think this is normal because when bad times come, we have to skip it. Anyway, I pray that you recover quickly and can start again soon, and everything will be fine.

I ’m starting to get anxious about a Trump Presidency. What is he going to do next week?

If you don't have space to hang the pull bar then it's understandable but being "not interested" is a bad excuse, considering you're already hitting your push up goals comfortably so it's not that you are alien to grind.

To the extent that I went into any details regarding any of my goals along the way, it seems that I mentioned one of my more recent goals was to get my total quantity of pushups to the spot price, which so far has been elusive, and surely, it seems to me that any goals that I would set from there may well relate to some of my other discussion points, and I doubt that I have hardly even mentioned pullups as being an area of interest of mine.  I did mention lunges as being a potential area of interest that I have added from time to time.. yet I would most likely be way more interested in lunges than pushups at least in terms of something that I consider relatable to resistance training and a potential area of my own interests in which I see some kind of potential fit in terms of my own current place in life.

Pull ups are squats for your upper body. If pull ups are not an option then at least try 10sec- 60sec dead hangs. Your spin, shoulder and posture will bless you.

I am still not interested in doing either pushups or hangs.  I have a hard enough time doing what I already have chosen to do for myself.  I am not going to say that I will "never try" since I know that sometimes there might be some kind of a fit in a guys life for things he thought were not fitting, and surely I am not there with pullups or even really wanting to consider them in terms of various things that I currently have going on.

Oh by the way, today, holy fucking shit.  I had a scheduled meeting that was going to be tight in scheduling, and then there was some back and forth on the scheduling and some extra preparations that I had to do, so usually I would have had been able to get in 2-3 sets of pushups before the meeting even took place.. .. yet it was around 3:30pm my own time before I was able to even do my first set of pushups and 8pm before I got my second set.. so holy shit.. I had to do the three last sets (split sets) within about an hour of each other.. so I finally finished all my set for the day.. and so yeah a bit late, and I have another meeting tomorrow.. and I am going to try to get a couple of sets before the meeting, but it can be quite difficult to fit in and to achieve... . yet if I get a couple or 2-3 sets in early.. then the last couple sets of the day can come at any time.. no problem.. but not always easy to get those 2-3 sets in early.. .I am getting  better, but schedules are not always the same.. and almost hate to get into too many details about some of the stress trying make sure to get all of the pushup sets in and also to make sure that other important things get done.. it is not any kind of walk in the park, even if guys (who are not in the same situation) might imagine such walk in the park to be present.

Well, add a few more reps to each set and touch the 300-350 mark because your body seems to be reacting alright and in doing so hope for new heights in price range, fingers crossed.

I thought that I already mentioned that between about August and November I had mostly been averaging around mid-200s of pushups per day.. so that was quite grueling for me to maintain that for 4 months.

.. and yeah, I added my "one slow set per day" starting in about mid-October, and then in early December I changed my long sets into split sets, so they went up from about 40-60 per set to 70-90 per set, since it would be a split set with about 1-3 minutes break between each split set.. so that tends to bring my daily pushups to more or less the mid-300s per day ever since early December.   This is also a bit grueling.. so I am not sure yet how much I might want to take it down once my total number of pushups match the BTC price, yet I am sensing that I am going to want to keep my pushups above the BTC price, if possible, and perhaps even attempt to maintain a cushion.. which could be something that ends up having to last all the way through 2025.. depending on overall BTC price dynamics and at what point bear season might end up happening.  

I would kind of prefer to be struggling to catch up to the price rather than staying above the price, yet these matters are still to be seen and remain a bit uncertain, not only in terms of the BTC price, yet also in terms of my own determination to maintain some kind of an excuse to keep doing pushups on a daily basis.  I don't really like doing pushups or preparing to do pushups - even though I like having had done pushups... yet the ONLY way to get to a status of having had done pushups is to actually prepare to do puhsups and to do some pushups, which I have found daily to be workable.. even though I don't really like it very much.

Here is what I am finding after 100 days. 120 pushups on steps 2 and 3 along with 252 or 21 flights of stairs is hard but doable.

My large toe is a better so I may be able to do more of those pushups on steps 1 and 2 rather than steps 2 and 3.

I have been able  to do only 2 "normal" pushups as both my large toe and my hernia repair feel too much pain for me to think that standard pushups are safe for bulk pushups. But At the beginning of the adventure a "single normal" push up was not possible.

And I could do 10 step four pushups.

I can do 50 step 3 pushups in a single set.
I have done 250 step 3 pushups in a single set.

BTC is about long term dca and hodl.

So if my pushups take years to reach 100 'normal' in a day that works for me.

meanwhile btc is floating near 99.5k pretty good.
I'm yet to understand this concept of stair pushups. I really hope to understand how it runs properly since I will love to engage in it more frequently but it seems I have to involve a Gym instructor. You may need a pictorial description simce I know that there may be other people interested in this your pattern of pushups but doesn't understand it.

Whichever way, bitcoin is headed to the top.



it is easy

on the floor normal push up you are parallel to the floor. You lift more weight that way.

if you put your hands on say step 4 of a flight of stairs your angle is easier and you can do the push-ups easier.
if you put your hands on say step 3 of a fight of stairs you angle is a bit harder more work.

here is a photo. my head is in contact with the step.
 my hands are on the third step
my elbows are bent

not the best form in that photo my butt is a bit too high. my feet should have been back say 6 more inches to get the butt straight.

but you still do the full elbow bent to elbow straight movement on that third step.  the angle makes the weigh you lift easier to do.

I vary steps
3 most
2 some
1 less
0 very few the so called normal pushup

remember I am 200 pounds so even if the weight lift is reduced from 150 to 75 on step 3 it is still lifting 75 pounds 120 times a day

Today there is a new thing where I did a challenge as usual followed by a run around the complex and sit ups of course as my addition for this month but if before I did alone but for today there was my brother who started following what I did.

I am quite enthusiastic about the changes that my brother has made because it cannot be denied that my brother is also like me where he was previously lazy to study but after seeing me start exercising for the past 2 months, my brother finally started to be inspired and started doing sports to at least relax his body which is indeed stiff.

I asked him why he wanted to follow and it turned out that his answer was that he really wanted something like this (where he could run or work out) for a long time but indeed because there were no friends he felt embarrassed to do it because he didn't really want to get a lot of questions from other people for doing it so that when I started doing sports (because of the challenge) regularly he felt he had friends and was not too embarrassed to do it anymore. This is a very good thing and for now after my brother is willing to follow and accompany me to do the Challenge then I will try to continue to be consistent so that my brother has a friend to stretch the muscles that are stiff because they have not been moved for too long.

Yep, even though my brother is not in this forum but when he tries to want to start a better life by exercising and accompanying me to do the Challenge, it's pretty good: On the

other hand, actually it is also a condition that becomes an awkward situation, because maybe not all regions/countries occur but for my country sometimes when we do something (such as exercise or other things that people rarely do) sometimes they always chat and consider this as a taboo when done when in fact it is not too detrimental so that makes other people sometimes not lazy to exercise just don't want to be seen as pretentious or don't want to be talked about by neighbors when doing it, unfortunately things like this always happen in the area I live in now.

Yes.. you already acknowledged the situation.. which is that for regular pushups, you should try to be pretty much parallel like a board, and from my perspective, if you cannot do your pushups flat like a board then you have to go up another step with your angle.

There may be some occasions that you might want to deviate from regular form (such as butt in the air).. yet there should be some preferences to keep to proper form which causes you to put some strain on the core by forcing yourself to maintain your whole body flat while you are doing the pushups.

If you think that staying flat is causing too much strain on your core (your earlier hernia operation), then you should go to the 4th stair rather than the 3rd stair... It would be easier on your core to go to the 4th rather than 3rd starir, but allow you more easily to keep your proper form with your body straight. 

From my own perspective, I am not sure if it would be a good idea to do the pushups without keeping your body straight, unless that is the ONLY way that you are able to do them, then I suppose that is better than nothing.. but it seems that the pushup is suppose to cover several body areas including the core, and yeah, my own core is not the greatest either, but I think that my core is quit a bit stronger  than it was at last year this time (because of the ongoing daily pushups).

I have started the sixth day of my journey. On the sixth day of push-ups, I did a total of 50 push-ups. I am trying to gradually increase the number of push-ups. I hope to be able to complete many push-ups at once while doing push-ups.

If you don't have space to hang the pull bar then it's understandable but being "not interested" is a bad excuse, considering you're already hitting your push up goals comfortably so it's not that you are alien to grind.

To the extent that I went into any details regarding any of my goals along the way, it seems that I mentioned one of my more recent goals was to get my total quantity of pushups to the spot price, which so far has been elusive, and surely, it seems to me that any goals that I would set from there may well relate to some of my other discussion points, and I doubt that I have hardly even mentioned pullups as being an area of interest of mine.  I did mention lunges as being a potential area of interest that I have added from time to time.. yet I would most likely be way more interested in lunges than pushups at least in terms of something that I consider relatable to resistance training and a potential area of my own interests in which I see some kind of potential fit in terms of my own current place in life.

Pull ups are squats for your upper body. If pull ups are not an option then at least try 10sec- 60sec dead hangs. Your spin, shoulder and posture will bless you.

I am still not interested in doing either pushups or hangs.  I have a hard enough time doing what I already have chosen to do for myself.  I am not going to say that I will "never try" since I know that sometimes there might be some kind of a fit in a guys life for things he thought were not fitting, and surely I am not there with pullups or even really wanting to consider them in terms of various things that I currently have going on.

Oh by the way, today, holy fucking shit.  I had a scheduled meeting that was going to be tight in scheduling, and then there was some back and forth on the scheduling and some extra preparations that I had to do, so usually I would have had been able to get in 2-3 sets of pushups before the meeting even took place.. .. yet it was around 3:30pm my own time before I was able to even do my first set of pushups and 8pm before I got my second set.. so holy shit.. I had to do the three last sets (split sets) within about an hour of each other.. so I finally finished all my set for the day.. and so yeah a bit late, and I have another meeting tomorrow.. and I am going to try to get a couple of sets before the meeting, but it can be quite difficult to fit in and to achieve... . yet if I get a couple or 2-3 sets in early.. then the last couple sets of the day can come at any time.. no problem.. but not always easy to get those 2-3 sets in early.. .I am getting  better, but schedules are not always the same.. and almost hate to get into too many details about some of the stress trying make sure to get all of the pushup sets in and also to make sure that other important things get done.. it is not any kind of walk in the park, even if guys (who are not in the same situation) might imagine such walk in the park to be present.

Well, add a few more reps to each set and touch the 300-350 mark because your body seems to be reacting alright and in doing so hope for new heights in price range, fingers crossed.

I thought that I already mentioned that between about August and November I had mostly been averaging around mid-200s of pushups per day.. so that was quite grueling for me to maintain that for 4 months.

.. and yeah, I added my "one slow set per day" starting in about mid-October, and then in early December I changed my long sets into split sets, so they went up from about 40-60 per set to 70-90 per set, since it would be a split set with about 1-3 minutes break between each split set.. so that tends to bring my daily pushups to more or less the mid-300s per day ever since early December.   This is also a bit grueling.. so I am not sure yet how much I might want to take it down once my total number of pushups match the BTC price, yet I am sensing that I am going to want to keep my pushups above the BTC price, if possible, and perhaps even attempt to maintain a cushion.. which could be something that ends up having to last all the way through 2025.. depending on overall BTC price dynamics and at what point bear season might end up happening.  

I would kind of prefer to be struggling to catch up to the price rather than staying above the price, yet these matters are still to be seen and remain a bit uncertain, not only in terms of the BTC price, yet also in terms of my own determination to maintain some kind of an excuse to keep doing pushups on a daily basis.  I don't really like doing pushups or preparing to do pushups - even though I like having had done pushups... yet the ONLY way to get to a status of having had done pushups is to actually prepare to do puhsups and to do some pushups, which I have found daily to be workable.. even though I don't really like it very much.

Here is what I am finding after 100 days. 120 pushups on steps 2 and 3 along with 252 or 21 flights of stairs is hard but doable.

My large toe is a better so I may be able to do more of those pushups on steps 1 and 2 rather than steps 2 and 3.

I have been able  to do only 2 "normal" pushups as both my large toe and my hernia repair feel too much pain for me to think that standard pushups are safe for bulk pushups. But At the beginning of the adventure a "single normal" push up was not possible.

And I could do 10 step four pushups.

I can do 50 step 3 pushups in a single set.
I have done 250 step 3 pushups in a single set.

BTC is about long term dca and hodl.

So if my pushups take years to reach 100 'normal' in a day that works for me.

meanwhile btc is floating near 99.5k pretty good.
I'm yet to understand this concept of stair pushups. I really hope to understand how it runs properly since I will love to engage in it more frequently but it seems I have to involve a Gym instructor. You may need a pictorial description simce I know that there may be other people interested in this your pattern of pushups but doesn't understand it.

it is easy

on the floor normal push up you are parallel to the floor. You lift more weight that way.

if you put your hands on say step 4 of a flight of stairs your angle is easier and you can do the push-ups easier.
if you put your hands on say step 3 of a fight of stairs you angle is a bit harder more work.

Yeah, this looks very exciting to try and I'm gonna get a suitable start to it. I just completed my regular floor action now. I would like to get involved in this stairs push-up to spice up my pushup exercise.

I am already far used to this floor pattern. One hurdle that can hinder someone from this stair sets is the availability of stairs in someone's environment. Those that live in a downstairs may not have any stairs to engage with.

Don't you think its wrong to do the stairs push-ups wearing that clothe? Ther are clothes for exercise and you look too tush perhaps cloth for shopping in swag bucks instead you using it for stairs challenging. Perhaps i might have got the wrong impression. Maybe your only trying to show us a way of doing it? I don't know.

Every bodyweight exercise has its progression and variety of setups based on strength. Similarly, with pushups, you have plenty of progression. Here is a basic progression plan and the main goal is to gain strength over time.

Level 0 - Wall Push ups
3 sets* 40-50 reps with 2-5 mins rest.


 

Level 1 - Inclined Push ups: Use wall, railings.
3 sets* 40-50 reps with 2-5 mins rest


Level 2 Advance Inclined Push ups: Use, Stairs, sturdy table-chair against a wall, couch or bed.
3 sets* 30. Rest according to strength level.


Level 3 Knee push ups
3 sets* 30 Rest according to strength level


After this one can move onto Normal push ups.

Did some strenuous work yesterday evening. It drained me off seriously. Got up this morning so weak and tired. But in the spirit of staying fit  and healthy, I just had to do some push ups. It's better little than never. I managed to complete a 10×5 section this morning.

It's even better you didn't stop doing push-ups or take a break from doing push-ups since you are feeling pain because it won't help you to solve the problem you are passing through in this push-up challenge. After some running exercises that i covered  today, which still give the energy to do my push-ups with my two hands fold and then i push down and i push up.
With the difference kind of the exercise i do everyday have already given me the body fitness that i wanted and i always continue being consistent with all the exercises.

Wow just found out that it's now £100K that should be around $122K.
20% more and we are there.
It could be closer than we expected.

After some running exercises that i covered  today, which still give the energy to do my push-ups with my two hands fold and then i push down and i push up.

I can see different form and type of Push up now
Well my favorites are diamond and wide arm Push Up
Can't go a day without doing it no matter how small.

this is true a lot of variations are possible.  The key is do them. Don’t do too many and get hurt. But do them.

In fact I am going to knock off set now.

There are different methods of pushups depending on physical ability and experience or a person has his own pushup method depending on his position or habit, which is based on the basics of this exercise. Maybe the methods of pushups have been discussed in this forum, I do not want to repeat them. In the current internet age, learning anything is not difficult. A newcomer to exercise can easily learn the methods of pushups from the internet.

If you are referring to folding hands, then you mean making a fist, so you would describe your pushups as doing them with your hands in a fist.
