Can anyone confirm staking works with the latest wallet (bitcoinplus-1.6.0-win32-setup.exe) on Win7 64-bit? I should be getting some blocks by now (3 days) but got none so far, wallet is unlocked and it is supposedly staking. Remember that that "estimated time" isn't really that accurate. More a relative measure of how close you're getting to finding a block, rather than a solid number.

HAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAhaha! Good one sub! It is staking exactly as advertised (minimum coin age 12 hours) and tooltip informs (around 30 minutes on average between blocks, if stake weights change it will stay correct).

What jiapetz said and also my first reward took about 5 days from when I started staking, but it was a big one. After that I've been receiving about 2-5 small rewards per day (almost every day).

Thank you for at least making a site for us. I'll admit, while I would have liked to, I didn't use it once. Blackcoin's was just much easier to use, better layout and had a simpler betting method (win/lose/tie instead of exact score). If you need any help with ideas/layout for a new site, I'd be happy to help, let me know.
thanks for your offer to help. I will gladly use it. I already wrote you PM on bitcointalk

Would like to say thank you to reddcoin who has decided to sacrifice itself for going to mintpal next week. I seriously think this week will be very nice for xbc and the turnover team. Rip redd

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
BitcoinPlus is looking for it's active enthusiasts!
If you are an enthusiast who wants to help XBC, with your ideas, talent, social visibility, connections etc. We are looking for you!
This is the first step for us to build our new organization. We'll gather a simple name list of all of you XBC supporters who have desire to help us in any shape or form regardless of your backgrounds or your commitment level.
With this list gathered we can then proceed on collecting more information on your individual skills, areas of interest, work experience etc.
After this we will have a good base of actual knowledge what kind of talent and skill we have at our disposal. We can then proceed on gathering all the ideas and vision you have so everyone will be heard.
Then we also have a nice base on what the active community wants and we can build even further with that.
So to get this process rolling, all you need to do for now is to just send a small shout "I'm in" via PM'ing me or Azorek27 here on BCT or on #xbc IRC channel.
We'll collect a simple list of your nicknames and send further details very soon!
Note that this is nothing as heavy as being an official developer, but a chance for you to contribute ideas and to let us know if you have any special talents/skills you could possibly help us with. This is for all of us actives who have their visions/ideas to express, their skills they could volunteer to help the community etc.
(if you want to be an active developer, please use the application form already provided on our website)

Can someone explain what happened to all the XBC from the new blockchain? From my understanding, a completely new blockchain was established and a 1:1 coin swap was initiated. Therefore, you had to have access to all 56k XBC in order to do the coinswap. What happened to the XBC that was not swapped over? Is it in the current devs posession?

Just to confirm it actualy works, I got my first ever XBC PoS block today! It is just "Expected time" too much off. Other PoS wallets I'm using are noticably more accurate. Can someone explain what happened to all the XBC from the new blockchain? From my understanding, a completely new blockchain was established and a 1:1 coin swap was initiated. At http://explorer.mindfox.net/chain/BitcoinPlus column "Outstanding" you can see total number of coins is little over 56k right now, no other coins exist besides those. It is hillarious that XBC marketcap is just around 56 BTC while exactly the same tech (pure PoS) implemented in let's say CLAM results in marketcap of over 18k BTC. I think XBC is smart investor wet dream. Price can't be ruined much more (most if not all weak hands are already out) and there is shitload of room for growth.

Marketcaps of some pure PoS coins based on Bitcoin (no NXT and it's clones): CLAM = 14.3 million coins at 12k Satoshi = 17040 BTC BC = 75 million coins at 1.8k Satoshi = 13500 BTC MINT = 19.4 billion coins at 5 Satoshi = 970 BTC SC = 43.2 million coins at 500 Satoshi = 216 BTC XBC = 56k coins at 10k Satoshi = 56 BTC So dump me more XBC below 10k Satoshi naaoooooo! In addition i would like to make a new small contest. You can guess score of final match Germany - Argentina. You dont have to bet anything. Just post your address and score you guess. Lucky winner gets 15 XBC. If there are more right predictions, the price will be split between them. This way I want apologize again for the previous fail with betting system and make it up to you guys.

I've got 4 people reply to me so far! I would like to point out that we are not requiring you to have any special IT wizzard skills or anything like that. All we are looking for is enthusiastic people who love XBC So if you are one, let us know so we can have as many enthusiastic minds producing future ideas as we can. To all those who announce themselves, we later All you need to do is to PM "I'm in" to me, to Azor, or on the #xbc chan with either of us present. The only "talent" you need to have is enthusiasm/optimism! I know that a great many of you qualifies, So keep em' coming! The purpose of this is to create a "catalog" of people who are enthusiastic and through it we will contact you to include you into the idea formulation process for BitcoinPlus. Join in if you would love to have a say! Thank you! Ps. Arg - Ger 2 - 2

Energycoin is getting mad voting rates. So mad that it will bypass XBC next week if we don't pick up speed with voting. Currently people are not voting much as everyone thinks #1 place is guaranteed. It isn't so. So whoever wants to see XBC on MP in 9 days, better start voting again

I wonder if they are using automated voting, as they jumped up unusually quickly. It could be that some of the lower coins are taking that chance, figuring there is nothing to lose. Normally they'd risk losing those votes, but if a coin has no chance otherwise by the deadline, there is no risk.

Yes, those voting gains are very suspicious, they had regularly 5 votes and then immediately moved to 50 per hour. Energycoin and Mjollnircoin the same. Anyway its like CryptoYoda said, if they will continue to receive so crazy number of votes and we will not improve, they will be added after next week. I was considering some rewards for people voting on mintpal, but I dont know if it is not forbbiden. Anyone knows ?

Better do giveaway for people who: 1) installed XBC wallet 2) got proven Mintpal account with history (can vote) More people get XBC, more people vote - they got their own interest in it. Notice that other coiners read this and they will do that, as this is the best way. I'm sure redd did this and got some acceleration.
