This is very good advice!
If I'm not mistaken, the chances of hitting high multipliers in the base game (without triggering or buying the bonus round) are usually higher on high-volatility slots. So, you need to play those types of games if you are participating in the multiplier contest.

A very common thing to happen and I've experienced many times but on other occasions, I can hit nice multiplier with smaller starting bankroll. This is why we should always limit ourselves, do not spend more than the possible reward we may win. I usually use half of the main reward as a starting bankroll, so if the main prize is $250, I will spend no more than $125 or $150 at max. One more thing, if we win something like double our initial bankroll but we do not get high multiplier, better to stop chasing multiplier as we have won something already although we will not win the contest.

You must be not that familiar to slots if you have never seen 900x-2000x There are many users in this forum who have hit even more than 2000x on slots game including myself. My own record is hitting 20,000x on Detective Donuts by popiplay that I hit earlier this year but in other casino as I've shared it in the ANN thread of the casino where I hit it.
