Correction to 500-550 range would be healthy though.

I have to agree, let the market cool off a bit before the top blows off like last time. Be considerate to new users that might get in at too high price and then it collapses.

I think it will test 745 and 808 level resistance of previous tops. It tipped the 700 level already yesterday. Once 808 is broken that can be the new bottom. Can take a while maybe. We'll see.  Smiley

We broke below 35 million coins on bittrex due to the ramp up of mainstream buying of coins on litebit. Positive sign for the Gulden.

The richlist is far from correct. I have over 2M more coins on bittrex as mentioned in the richlist.

This was unclear to me first also, how that counting works with the deposit addresses at bittrexx.

Your deposit address at bittrex is used to payout withdrawal orders from to others. So when you go to your acccount at bittrex you see the real amount of what is yours ofcourse. But in the background your address has become a withdrawal address for others and (a) new one(s) is/are created in the background for you (i think, has to be so  Wink).

Type your deposit address at bittrex in the explorer: https://explorer.guldencoin.com/#/
Good chance coins have been send from that address to people who have withdrawn from bittrex. Your real amount at bittrex is stored in (a) new address(es), has to be so, i think  Smiley When you withdraw yourself, it will be paid out of deposit addresses at bittrex of others as well.

So in the list the amount in the bittrex addresses are correct, i think.

Yesterday I experienced the advantage of having longer block times.
I transferred coins off bittrex and by accident pasted my friends address who I gave some coins to as a test 2 weeks ago, I copy addresses I use to a file and had his on top which was stupid, after I realized my mistake I was able to cancel the transaction with bittrex in time before the first block was found after I confirmed.

It gave me a idea which I don't know is possible but to have a option in the wallet to cancel your transaction if the first block has not come through or to only send after 3 blocks has passed to double check yourself. Perhaps it's a dumb idea but I see it as a advantage for coins with more then 2 min average block times. I can understand something like this would never be possible with coins having less then 1 minute block times.

Afaik this is not possible. Once you broadcast a transaction and other nodes rebroadcast it, there's no way to put the genie back into the bottle, so to speak. Maybe there could be a way to broadcast to the network "please remove this tx from your mempool" and you would have to sign the message with the address you sent the coins from to prove you control it, but this would be a major undertaking I think.

Some services (e.g. Nocks) don't wait for a few blocks to pass before continuing with their service. As soon as they see the transaction they act (and need to for their service to work). Cancelling transactions would more or less mean that those services can't exist.

Very good explanation!  Bittrex keeps its own off-chain ledger of who has what.
