I like Poloniex a lot, but with the current volume a second (or third actually) exchange is not really necessary. Plus, LTEX is working on an exchange of the p2p-type I gather!

Funny story see below a PM from me and Trackcoins.  Cheesy Grin

What do you suggest dump NLG below what point and buy in cheaper?
I am interested and have a lot of NLG and want to make it more an sell half for btc.
Tell me what the plan is, I have couple of million NLG and over 100 btc I can work with.
If you want to do a extreme manipulation I can get some PnD groups involved or put my fiat in NLG or BTC
Let me know.

Yes buy in cheaper under 450 one last time and then let price rise.

I personally prefer a European based exchange and no Chinese or Amercian exchange.
Perhaps contact Clevercoin exchange?

The Guldex exchange of LTEX sounds really good but I think it is to far fetched at the moment;

1. Dutch regulations regarding such exchanges and applying to the rules are really difficult and IMO to much underestimated.
2. Kwartjeterug from LTEX was really hyped up and nothing big actually came from it.
3. LTEX is involved in to many projects such as AUR to really get a NLG exchange of the ground.

As much as I want LTEX to succeed with a NLG-EUR exchange, I do not think we will not see it happen in the next 12 months perhaps never.
I am willing to put my money where my mouth is, if he succeeds to launch Guldex within the next 12 months and apply to all Dutch regulation he gets 50.000 NLG from me.

I believe in LTEX, he can do it, come on! VOC mentality, the Dutch government applauds innovation rather than counteracting it, I think it's possible to set up such an exchange, I think your suspicions are based more on feelings than specific juridical rational arguments, not saying it won't be hard though, maybe even need a laywer sometime, but problems are there to solve, it's part of the evolution of the Gulden project.

Don't get me wrong, i really hope he pulls it off but I am just being realistic here.
I suggest you investigate and do a background check on the current companies that provide crypto's in the Netherlands and see what difficulties they came across to set up an exchange.
Shouting things like VOC mentality and Dutch government will support it, well that's all cheerleader talk, based on feelings IMO and not based on any facts.

I think we can agree we both want LTEX to succeed with the GULDEX exchange, but we disagree how easy or difficult it is going to be to actually make it happen.

I am more of an encouraging optimist when it comes to projects like this, that's true, and I do agree that setting up Guldex might have some legal issues to deal with. On the other hand, Guldex is only a platform for transactions that are already being made, except in this case it's non-profit. If you trade for example euro's for dollars on a professional basis, then you have to deal with a lot of regulations, I think the same goes for Guldex IF it were a professional business, however thinking this through logically, Guldex is only a means to expand the ways to better exchange fiat money for Gulden. If somehow that would not be allowed legally then where do you draw the line? For example, if you tell a person how he/she might acquire gulden by exchanges or send him some link to Guldenbuy or something like that, then that should be illegal as well according to that standard. What I am getting at is that perhaps your suspicions are based more on feelings rather than reality. The fact is that at this stage neither me nor you know the specifics, but I am sure LTEX has done some research on his own. I think we should just try and see what happens.

I agree on that  Wink

Regarding Guldex, I can tell you it's not easy to setup, that is correct. Of course we have to take regulations in consideration and that is what we have worked out mostly already.

Don't be mistaken by the thought we have to apply to the same rules as other exchanges like AEX or Dow Jones. We have an exchange in Guldens, a cryptocurrency that is, by law, not seen as a real currency nor does it have any status as a commodity. This means we don't have to comply to AFM rules etc.

As far as dutch law goes we sell game tokens for euro's, just like you can buy with other online games (https://www.mol.com). You can buy our tokens (Guldens) and use them in an online exchange simulation game. If you want to stop playing, you can cash out your Euro's just as easy.

I know that sounds a bit silly, but law is a silly thing. As long as you understand how things are treated, you can bend those translations in your advantage. Of course there might come a time where law is being changed and Gulden wil fall under the rules of a real currency, but I assure you, by that time we are not complaining about our exchange having to be lifted to a higher platform  Wink

And your statement about me being busy on too many things is also spot on Barry  Smiley But have you ever taken in consideration that it is the ones that are always too busy are also the ones really producing? Sure I hyped the idea of KwartjeTerug, but I did deliver! Not with a community IPO, but payed for with my own cash and a time investment of over 200 hours. And yes it still has to be put into motion to attract a large group of users, but not before we have solid ground to build on. That's also where you guys come in, a little less talk about rates and some more action on expanding users and merchants would do just fine I think  Wink

.... I think we should just try and see what happens.

Have you ever tried to lift up a pen? I'm serious, try! I can tell you upfront you will fail massively! Why? If you try something, nothing actually will happen. There are just two options, you either DO or you DONT. So you can either pick up the pen or NOT pick up the pen. What does trying to pick up the pen mean Huh

So, if you are going to try to see what happens, you are most certain not going to see too much  Wink

People are waiting for the next update, if it takes another month then price goes down and higher volumes again, if it comes this week then even more faith will come for Gulden. I don't expect much volume until announcements are made, the price is good and people want to see if it's going to be worth buying more.

Yes, people selling most likely think they can get back in cheaper. Honestly is there more chance of bitcoins price going up by 10 times or Gulden?
