http://nlgstats.nl/charts/total_NLG_at_bittrex.html

I read on the forums a person is planning to invest 30 000 Euros over time and might be the reason everyone is putting up some NLG to keep the prices from rising and maybe to sell at higher price and buy at lower price (Which explains the high volumes). I don't trade because long term investors always win and my portfolio is up 180%, but it could be a reason, we can't complain the price has gone from 250 to 700 and a lot of poor people and young kids will want to get some btc out.

My thought is exactly the same as yours. We are talking about an amount worth of 140 btc buying Gulden up here coming days/weeks, he says Roll Eyes The investor was buying a bit too fast up hill starting at level 650 up to 950 in  his first stage of buying since 2 days and that attracks always short term profit takers. Also sellwalls now build in to stop rising too fast after his announcement, only to prevent further unstability later on, i think. Also, i think when some of the sellwalls are sold, they will be put on the buyside again to support. We 'll see.

http://nlgstats.nl/charts/total_NLG_at_bittrex.html

What utter nonsense. We should go work for btc because a few traders are selling some coins?
A few things:

1) That amount there is only 13% of total available coins, which is really not that bad for a young currency.
2) You have no way of knowing what the intentions of the people who have coins on bittrex are - e.g. a lot of people may have coins there just to put walls up on the higher numbers to help stabilise the currency, or as a trading strategy tot ry drive the price down - these people don't intend for the coins to all sell necessarily. e.g. that wall at 999 of ~40 BTC, that used to be at 777 but was moved, people do this sort of thing all the time...
3) Buy orders outnumber sell orders by more than double currently.
4) For every sell there is a buy so your statement is bollocks, some people are simply trading with other people.
5) Even if 13% of buyers are dumping out it in no way affects the goal of this project which is to create a usable currency.
6) Most of the current selling is probably speculators and not long term holders

I could go on, but it isn't worth the time, is it a bit disappointing to see the price go down a bit and a lot of coins for sale, sure - I mean we would all like to think our coin is worth more - but we have to remember that we just had an absurdly high rise in price over a short period in time, this sort of thing is to be expected.

Hey all,

How's it going? I've been busy, but I have found time to do a 3rd quarter write-up expanding my top 5 list to TOP 10.

NLG is on the list.

Anyone want to get the email directly? (It's going out to over 2000 email addresses for mostly individual accounts of high level professionals - division directors, senior managers, project managers, account executives, and the like - within the banking, investment banking, insurance sectors, finance in general, all over the world.)

PM me your email if you're interested.

cheers

Thanks HR, I will PM you my email in a bit. Keep up the good work on exposing cryptos to the general public.

To add to what MaNI said, the team cares about stability and not price. We not going anywhere because we are here to change the world no matter the price.

I am sorry I said your dumping, I think it's traders from that podcast that was linked by mainpmf.

What is going on is obvious, traders came after hearing the podcast and are sitting on their hands waiting for some miracle buys to make their 10-30% btc profits. I say fuck them and just keep the buy orders low, they will need to dump out for a loss so they don't lose out on the next pump of another coin. Then they forced to make a loss and never return and it will be good for us all.

@Dutchyyy calm down, traders bring a lot of attention to the coin and exchanges are looking for volume. These same traders will trade at triple the current price if they feel the value is there.

some websites seem to be down, hence my question. Gulden is a long-term project and i have faith in it, I won't let daytraders profit indeed, hope to be able to buy some in the 500-600 range soon  Wink

300-400. I see the cracks forming. 1 update on timeline in sep, no accouncement from dev yesterday and websites failing. it does not look good this coin

What a troll you are Grin We broke the 600 level in an upward trend. Just after that it went up too fast up to 950 after the trendline was crossed above by an investor. 600 possible next bottom to buy in for you maybe?  Wink 745 and 808 are the resistance levels to be broken permanently for further uptrend. We willll see, just how i see the trend, no garanty ofcourse. Market decides.

Just wait for the upates to come.

NO fud intended here.
But can anyone explain me why this coin could have success? What are the greater things about this than bitcoin? Isn't that like saying lets use multiple internets instead of 1?

I want to invest but i dont see the great value yet
